Trailblazer1:Am not General Buhari, but here is my take on your question: - Those who were found not to be complicit to the massive corruption were release after it was investigated. Even in Democracy, Police have the right to detain you during investigations (the law say 48hrs, in practice I have seen people detained up to 3 months - the #EkitiGates Colonel's brother comes to mind). - Those who were duly tried and jailed for stealing deserves no apology. |
anonimi:First note that this was an event in October, 2014. Then read the quote and link below. Nigeria's Minister of Finance Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, on Tuesday day said the federal government has acquired new military equipments to confront insurgency in the North-East. |
luvinhubby:@Bold: As I stated, the only solution is a leadership that will effect the changes we desire. With a leadership that has the political will to do what is needed, the institutions and others can be strengthened. In this 2015 General Elections, in choosing the next President of Nigeria who will correct our present predicament, the quote below is very important. "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." - Albert Einstein President Jonathan has failed in tackling the Fundamental problems of this Nation, it is time to turn a new leaf. God bless Nigeria. |
Buhari is a handsome gentle man. GMB all the way! |
That is a good one. With Buhari coming it, more cuts will be done - so that our Capital Expenditure in the Budget can increase for developmental projects. Sai Buhari. |
anonimi:Does Nigeria getting its own consignment of junks for her participation in UN mission warrants NOI to declare them NEW military hardware? |
All the PDP spin doctors, when you are done, you can read the report as well. Azazi blames Boko Haram attacks on PDP http://www.channelstv.com/2012/04/27/azazi-blames-boko-haram-attacks-on-pdp/ |
https://www.channelstv.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/vlcsnap-2012-04-27-19h18m32s116.png Something that happened recently, the OP now wants to re-write history to hide PDP's engineering work in Boko Haram. It will not work. Below is the video too: PDP = Boko Haram - QED https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9HfkH82TaEk |

dein77:Buhari have said this repeatedly, your fate lies with the Court. The job of the Prosecutors is charge you to court and present evidence to back their case against the looter. The rest lies with the court. I believe under Buhari administration, Lawyers and Legal practitioners will have their own pound of flesh from the politicians ![]() |
themilanway:@Bold: That will be a good amendment too. |
The live stream of @ThisIsBuhari's @ChathamHouse appearance will be made available at http://www.chathamhouse.org/livestream , 11 am (NGR) today. #GMB15 |
All these gimmicks of Jonathan will not work. We want Change. Sai Buhari. |
luvinhubby:\ Did you not hear when he said he will be working with the National Assembly to provide all the legal inputs needed. I must also point out that our problem in Nigeria has never been legislation BUT the political will to enforce our laws as it should. Currently even case that makes it to the court are not backed with enough evidence to secure convictions. In no time we see criminals walk away because of backyard deals. In Nigeria, we have only one problem - it is Leadership. The Buhari/Osinbajo ticket avails us that needed solution. In Buhari's administration, PDP as the Opposition Party will be following them bomber-2-bomber in order to keep them on their toes. But re-electing Jonathan is an endorsement to continue the mess we are in. The choice is ours. I will vote for Change. |
nationwide1:Firstly, Buhari has promised not to embark on witch-hunting. Secondly, he stated he will draw a line of intolerance to corruption on May 29th 2015. Old cases of corruption is expected to be prosecuted with renewed vigor. But the primary goal is to ensure that perpetrated rampantly again in Nigeria. |
There will be amendment on Nigeria's Penal Code, EFCC and ICPC will get Special designated Courts to trial corrupt cases, there will be State and Federal Police each having their jurisdictions. How the Fight Against Corruption works will be simple: Whenever you have a case or implicated in one then get a Lawyer and go to Court (APC, PDP, does not make any difference). No more injunctions here and there. Also there will be the Whistle Blower Act to provide incentives and protection to citizens that exposes hidden cases of corruption (depending on the quality of info and the person involvement). Nigeria, the best is ahead. Sai Buhari. |
PDP now trying all dosage of lies to see which will run them mad the most. Sai Buhari. No more distractions. |
GMB |
Jonahan will go down as the worst corrupt President in Africa. |
So their Destiny is now to follow a drunkard to the Zoo, instead of being 2nd in command and major stake holder in a Buhari's Presidency? Being silly should have limitation. It is Buhari all the way joor! |
As Jonathan and his wife look Failure in the face, desperation and panic has set in. |
This is too dumb even for Jonathan. |
The fat liar is trying to pull a fast on on us. Nigerians will not fall for this cheap lies and deception. Sai Buhari all the way! |
kingofpool:Is the Plant generating Output? Yes or No? |
Yet he retains them. Do they have something on him or he is just Clueless? |
At NOWAS in Enugu, I bought N97 when I asked the attendant gave no explanation. The N10 change has finished. Jona, Jonah - the Dribbler-In-Chief. |
Then Governor Sule Lamido had this to say: "President Jonathan is like a madman with a lighter in a petrol station". |
Nigerian Bloggers and their alarming headlines. BTW, up APC. |
kingsley939:KC what was your reaction to: - "Stealing is not corruption" And; - "How much did Jim Nwobodo STOLE?" (For your info it was $5.5m). |
Jonathan is cashing in on everything possible before May 29th. What a shame. |
