PointB:@BOLD: Sure. But this is for Looters who may have escape before they were implicated to have massively looted the treasury. How do we go about recovering the funds and getting them to appear for trial. NB: Reference to failed Umaru Dikko's experience and we try to avoid such backlash again. |
studio14:It is all rumours. There are steps required for impeachment of a Governor. That process will not even be completed till May 29th. If PDP were pushing for that, then they are the ones being nuisance and PDP may as well have burnt the building to make the Governor look bad. |
CyberWolf:Whenever fire starts from the "Account Department" my default instinct is that someone is hiding Financial Info. After Onyebuchi lost out in the power struggle, I lost interest on who makes it. With all this PDP internal wrangling, Buhari will get more votes and the hope of Cleaning up the System is not totally lost. |
CyberWolf:Sorry for my reaction earlier. But I do not see Elechi getting impeached within the few weeks that is left to election and handover. Everyone should rather concentrate on the election. All cases of embezzlement and misconduct should be handed over to EFCC so that after May 29th, he can stand trial. But fighting the Governor just for his interest in LP is very wrong. |
www.nairaland.com/attachments/2012592_eb1_jpeg48a7b89d0dd736b92aa8274e67c0b4c3 During the APC Presidential Rally, even at night, Ebonyi people stayed and waited for Buhari. With the crisis rocking PDP, Ebonyi State can join the rest of the Nation in voting APC and turning a leave on the failures on the PDP. |
kheart:Very plausible. |
Not again. God have mercy on Nigeria and help us elect sensible leadership in Buhari to send the current incompetent folks packing. |
This case is the string that each time Jonathan pulls it, FFK will be singing like a parrot and insulting the hell out of anyone Jonathan is pointing him to. Anytime FFK changes his mind, Jonathan will send him to jail and put him where he will not see sunlight. I need Protection - now makes sense ![]() |
myhoodlink:Most likely. The PDP government can't even get a tanker for an important building like this. |
Just because the PDP-Governor is now leaning Labour Party, these PDP thugs will not allow any room for Peace in that State. Very sad. |
As Nigerians prepare for the incoming administration when Buhari is likely to preside over the affairs of Nigeria, I will like us to review a very critical aspect on Buhari's Presidency - The Fight Against Corruption: Question: If a Nigerian politician or citizen who has stolen a very large amount of money for Nigeria, run away from Nigeria and live elsewhere, what do you think the Government should do? Options: a. Explore only all the Diplomatic Channels. If they send him back good, if not forget it. b. If the first option fail, keep the case open till he mistakenly steps into Nigeria. c. Declare a Plea-bargain deal to all looters, if you return 50% of whatever you stole, you will be forgiven - else the person will be punished to the full extent of the law (no matter how long or what it takes). d. Any Politician who stole and run away should simply be declared wanted, with a specific amount tagged on him for anyone who will deliver him alive to the nearest Police Station. (Nigerians can now handle the rest and make cool cash). e. None of the above. ADD YOURS. NB: Reference to failed Umaru Dikko's experience and we try to avoid such backlash again. Egift |
As long as he has none of Nigeria's money left with him, he can run to Mars for all I care. |
Majority of those supporting Jonathan in PDP are just there for their personal gain. Remove the monetary benefit, Jonathan will be standing alone in the cold. For the rest of the nation, we want to turn a new leaf and start the process of rebuilding Nigeria and make it one that will benefit her citizens, irrespective of where they are, what they believe and their status in the society. Support the wind of Change. Sai Buhari. |
BlackPeni5:If you have any other thing different that "the internal wrangling in the PDP led to what we know now as Boko Haram", post it here. Don't start suppressing reality. It is too late for that. |

Nigerians are wiser. Jonathan is returning to Otueke this 2015. |
BlackPeni5:@Bold: And who told you we do not know some of those behind Boko Haram. Please consider the following (Jonathan could have started with those): 1. Azazi the then NSA to Jonathan said this and was killed for it: https://ends.ng/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/azazi-boko.png 2. One man that have continually believed to be one of those radicalizing and funding Boko Haram works closely with Jonathan. Even accompanied him to Official Visit to Chad, less than a day the DSS announce they will investigate him following many accusations on him. https://saharareporters.com/sites/default/files/styles/normal_medium/public/TCHAD%205.jpg?itok=dWcKIz_l https://www.vanguardngr.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/Jonathan-amodu.gif So instead of playing Politics with the deaths of Nigerians, this administration should be apologizing for its failures. |
anonimi:Being sympathetic to the families and communities that have lost over 20,000 souls due to Jonathan incompetence, negligence and inefficiencies is not a crime - Every Nigerian should pity their suffering. It will be heartless of you not to be concerned that your fellow Nigerians are suffering. So find a better spin to this than insinuating you feel less concerned. |

BlackPeni5:Abacha had his flaws, but the statement remains valid. Even the crisis that lingered in his time had his hands all over it. He spoke from experience. Check all the crisis in the world today, they all have one Government or the other having a hand in it. Even Niger-Delta militancy had political hands all over it: By 2004 Asari had retreated from public view. He would go on to create the Niger Delta People's Volunteer Force (NDPVF), which would emerge as a major catalyst for unrest in the Delta region. The NDPVF, a militant group, was funded in large part by local and regional politicians who sought great profits from the region's oil revenue.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mujahid_Dokubo-Asari |
joseph1832:True. I only hope that Nigerians will understand that the election is beyond today's meal. Had Jonathan been vigorously pursuing Government's policies like what we are seeing now in terms of efforts, we would have been better off. The main reason to voting for APC is a better option, is that Nigerians will elect a leadership, who from Day One will work very hard to prove that they are better than PDP. But if you re-elect Jonathan then we are back to the present situation that none of us is happy with. Vote Wisely. |
Until recently, whenever the Government is in a difficult position and Nigerians are probing into the actions of Governement, Boko Haram will attack to distract and get everyone scampering for safety. |
https://cdn.dailypost.ng/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/gumsu-tweet.png Yet Jonathan has been with Boko Haram for over 5yrs |
www.nairaland.com/attachments/2152867_img20150224050139_jpegb9a18472ad76f55bf888f17c769d6cee Nigerians want Change and a Positive Change we will get. We can't afford another 4yrs of leading from behind. |
CHESSBOARD:If only that was the only thing. The Rail project is on-going and you too will agree that constantly commissioning good projects on a regular basis is Fashola's signature. |
With all PDP's attacks against the person Buhari and the APC campaign to defeat Jonathan and his party the PDP failing to turn the table and make bright the fortunes of Goodluck Jonathan's quest to stay put in Aso Rock against the increasing desire of Nigerians to vote for Change and turn a new leaf. President Jonathan is now left with his last Trump Card - Use Boko Haram to smear the good name of General Buhari. From the look of things, this may have be regarded as a last resort. Below is the unavailing of President Jonathan's last Trump Card against Buhari: 1. As suspected, Boko Haram crisis is a political wildcard the PDP have reserved and groomed for a long time coming. The latitude given, sometimes totally ignoring them, our soldier abandoning weapons, lack of re-enforcement during military operations were all efforts to keep the tempo of fear in our hearts. How about Boko Haram striking any time the government is deep in on failure or the other? 2. When Jonathan got $1,000,000,000 ($1b) loan to fight Boko Haram and spent it in paying for the ceasefire that could not hold, it was a deal done with Shekau, brokered by Chadian President. We all saw the picture. But the ceasefire did not hold because some Boko Haram commander refused signing up to the deal. https://media.premiumtimesng.com/wp-content/files/2014/09/Screen-Shot-2014-09-11-at-8.25.19-PM.png 3. As stated before, Boko Haram will not be eliminated until it is used against the Opposition. And now that the election outcome does not look good for the president, and desperation setting in, Boko Haram will be a vital tool - either by them attacking the opposition, framing APC leaders or Jonathan brandishing his name as the one who captured Shekau. 4. As Abacha was quoted to say, "Any crisis that lasts beyond a couple of days, has the hand and support of the government, in one way or the other". Boko Haram has lasted more than 5yrs with President Jonathan. https://cdn.dailypost.ng/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/gumsu-tweet.png 4. By denying INEC security for the elections, President Jonathan the Commander-In-Chief and his Officers in the Military have forced the hands of INEC to delay the election and buy Jonathan enough time to execute his last Act. The 6-weeks delay, military chiefs leading the charge, the new found cheat-beating and boasting from the Presidency of capturing Shekau "ALIVE", all point to the fact that this Trump Card is going as planned. 5. Discussing this yesterday with some friends, many believe that Boko Haram leader should be already in their custody by now for the plan to work. 6. The next important decision in the Trump Card against the APC is "How Do You Unavailable Shekau?" Should he be picked up like Saddam in a hole? Or the "Navy Seal" style with Osama? Whatever the plan, the aim is to dissuade voters from voting Buhari (especially among Christians). Which plan will get the largest electoral votes? Few facts remain true, Boko Haram has stayed this long and over 20,000 innocent Nigerians dead because it is politically motivated or hijacked. It does not matter who it is. Also the fact that Jonathan and his military Chiefs will deal more blow on the entire Boko Haram structure in less than 6weeks than it has in 5years makes one wonder - WHY? As this Trump Card plays out, Nigerians will troop out on 28th March to vote for the Candidates of their choice. The person with the highest votes and most states won will become the next President. Cheap Propaganda has proven not to be effective in this election. God bless Nigeria! Egift |
With men like Fashola, Pat Utomi, Soludo, Oby and others in line to play active role in a Buhari's Presidency, Nigeria is on track to greatness. |
"Buhari is a Wind of Change and Integrity in Nigeria". Nigeria on a March to Progress. Sai Buhari. |
The first question at 1.40, while clarifying that by saying "5yrs in office" it included his completing Yar'Adua's tenure, the President said "this my Current Affairs tenure in office" ![]() |
PDP are now looking Failure in the Face. To God be the glory! Sai Buhari. |
