By Simon Ebegbulem BENIN—FEAR has gripped armed robbers and kidnappers in Edo State, following the curse placed on evil doers in the state, by the Benin monarch, Oba Erediauwa, as Vanguard was reliably informed that hundreds of them have stormed the Palace of the Oba to plead for forgiveness, so as to escape the wrath of the gods. Meanwhile, thousands of women from the seven local government areas in Edo South Senatorial District of the state, thronged the traditional Urhokpota ground, weekend, to place curses on those involved in the endless cases of kidnappings, armed robberies and other violent crime in the state. Vanguard learnt that the alleged criminals, who stormed the Palace to ask for forgiveness have been parading the Palace without getting any answer to their problem. They were, however, advised to change from their ways or die. Vanguard learnt that they were still scared, whether the curse will affect them since they were yet to receive any assurance of forgiveness. Some bankers who leak information to kidnappers about their customers, have also fled the ancient city for the fear of death. The women in the kingdom, led by Chief Isekhure, followed suit, weekend. The women dressed in red attires, had several ritual materials, which include dogs, fowls, rams which were slaughtered and their blood splashed on the ground, symbolizing death that was expected to visit those behind the robbery and kidnaping activities in the city. President, Market Women Association of Nigeria, Madam Amalawa Edebiri, explained that the ceremony was to lay curse on the kidnappers and criminals in the state. Politicians stealing money should be cursed also |

This is the price list I got 2 weeks ago |
By bringing another aluminium expert to do the verification |
thirdeye:Verifying the guage is not a big deal and does not warrant the difference in price. Companies also use individuals from outside of the companies. They act as middlemen so why not give the job directly to these individuals. |
I eventually got the aluminium job done for N1.15m from an outside contractor. This is for a 4bedroom duplex + a 2 bedroom BQ for a total of 710 sq m of plain long span aluminium (.55mm) not step tile design. Tower gave me a quotation of almost N1.5m. Wood (450K)+ labor (330K) and other materials such as nails, etc (50K) The total cost of the roofing was about N2m. This was completed last week. I think this will give you a better idea of what you need and I hope this will help others too. |
Send pricelist to this address folajimi@verizon.net |

This is another RCCG pastor. Remember the one that died in a plane crash that had 2 wives. I think this is stealing using religion as a cover.

This thread not only has no meaning but also shows your characteristic as a Nigerian - not wanting others to progress - wanting others to be like you and the list goes on. Feel free to add to the list. The economy of Belgium is probably compareable to a borough in New York city. |
Obasanjo a pastor? This is the equivalent of a devil on the pulpit. I think everybody is crazy in this country called Nigeria. |
The spirit of Dele Giwa is finally fighting back Whatever you sow you shall reap. No sympathy for IBB but for thousands of Nigerian that have died of similar illness but did not have the opportunity to travel to LA. |
Nigerian charged for trying to blow up U.S. airliner DETROIT/WASHINGTON (Reuters) – A Nigerian man with possible links to al Qaeda militants was charged on Saturday for trying to blow up a U.S. passenger plane with an explosive device on approach into Detroit, U.S. officials said. The suspect, who was being treated for extensive burns at a Michigan hospital, was overpowered by passengers and crew on the Christmas Day flight from Amsterdam. The passengers, two of whom suffered minor injuries, disembarked safely from the Delta Air Lines plane. "We believe this was an attempted act of terrorism," a White House official told Reuters. The Justice Department said in a statement that the man, whom it identified as Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, 23, from Nigeria, had been charged with attempting to blow up the plane by setting alight the explosive device that was attached to his body. He was due to make a court appearance later on Saturday, it said. A preliminary FBI analysis found that the device contained PETN, also known as pentaerythritol. That was one of the explosives carried by Richard Reid, the "shoe bomber" who was convicted of trying to blow up a plane headed to the United States months after the 2001 attacks. "This alleged attack on a U.S. airplane on Christmas Day shows that we must remain vigilant in the fight against terrorism at all times," Attorney General Eric Holder said in the statement. "We will continue to investigate this matter vigorously, and we will use all measures available to our government to ensure that anyone responsible for this attempted attack is brought to justice." Investigators were trying to confirm the man's claims that he has connections to al Qaeda, which carried out the September 11, 2001 attacks in the United States. Citing U.S. officials, the Wall Street Journal said the Nigerian man had told investigators that al Qaeda operatives in Yemen had given him the device and instructions on how to detonate it. OBAMA BRIEFED ABC News reported that the suspect told FBI agents he had lived with an al Qaeda leader for about a month in Yemen, where he was trained in what to do and how to do it. Passengers and crew said Abdulmutallab spent about 20 minutes in the plane's bathroom as it approached Detroit and then covered himself with a blanket upon returning to his seat, the Justice Department said. They then heard popping noises similar to firecrackers and smelled a foul odor, while some observed Abdulmutallab's trouser leg and the wall of the plane on fire, it said. When asked by a flight attendant what he had in his pocket, the suspect replied "explosive device," the statement added. ABC said the explosive device consisted of a six-inch packet of powder and a syringe with a liquid, which were sewn into the man's underwear so they would be near his testicles and unlikely to be detected. The FBI found the remnants of a syringe near Abdulmutallab's seat. In Nigeria, Abdul Mutallab, son of prominent former banker Umaru Mutallab, told Reuters that the suspect was his brother. He said their father was planning to meet with police in Nigeria. U.S. President Barack Obama, who is vacationing in Hawaii with his family, held a secure conference call on Saturday with two top security officials and was monitoring the situation, the White House said. Earlier, he instructed officials to step up air travel security. Passengers arriving in Detroit on the same flight from Amsterdam on Saturday, a day after the incident, reported tighter security, which delayed the departure. Jennifer Allen, 41, said all passengers boarding the flight in Amsterdam on Saturday were frisked, and the search was so thorough that she was asked by a female security guard to remove a ball of facial tissue from her pocket. "It was a thorough pat-down. It wasn't a quick rub," she said. Saharareporters has identified the family of Umar Farouk Abdul Mutallab in Nigeria. The 23 year old would-be bomber of Northwest airline flight 253 is the son of recently retired chairman of First Bank of Nigeria Dr. Umaru Abdul Mutallab. The father of the bomber, Dr. Muttalab was born in 1939 in Katsina township, the home state of Nigeria’s sickly leader Umaru Musa Yar’adua. Dr. Muttallab is currently the chairman of Nigeria first Islamic bank, Jaiz International Plc. He sits on the board of the bank with Dr. Rilwan Lukman, the Nigerian minister of Petroleum resources. The Al-Qaida linked son, Abdul Farouk Abdulmutallab, 23, is an engineering student at University College London.

Thanks for your response. Does the design determine the final cost and what will it cost for gates like the ones shown below using the checkered plates.

Does anyone have an idea of how much a well designed gate will cost? Any suggestion will be appreciated. |
