Can fellow Nairalanders come up with a list of Nigerians sent to prison (6 months or more) for stealing public fund since 1960? This will show the world how serious the goverment is in fighting this scourge called corruption. |
Money back guarantee? What on earth for? You're being offered a free demo, if you don't like it, simply don't buy! Money back is usually if the item is broken, or not as described. Not because you decide you don't like the product! Yes you can make a return if you do not like the product. No question asked! |

How are we sure that the cars advertised as sold have actually been sold. Afterall it might be a Nigerian marketing gimmick. |
Would Jesus have the same level of security that the Pope has today if He were to be physically present here on earth. |
If you tested positive for HIV, What will you do? |

What is wrong with us we Nigerians. |
People responding to this kind of scam are all fools. |
shinystar:I totally agree with you. There is indeed "no other country like Nigeria" on the surface of this earth. |
Cosjo:You can start a thread that shows the "good side of Lagos" if there is one. herbsman:Optimism in the absence of any meaningful development? The contents of your postings tell a lot about you. |
herbsman:Why can't you leave the US or any of the developed nations out of this and focus on Nigeria. Whatever is done to develop Nigeria will be part of history but so far not much is been done to develop the country and the Nigerian people despite our enormous resources. I still stand by my point, we need visionary leaders. I did not condemn Nigeria. Read the thread again or ask somebody to do that for you. |
I think Nigeria will not even be on top of the list of countries to be considered in Africa based on the total lack of infrastructures. They might have to come with everything to make life worthwhile and comfortable for the personnel that would live at the base. That is if one is actually needed. |
They need Nigeria but they don't need to establish base in Nigeria, though this would be idea, but very close that 'war planes can go and return within max 2hrs Try to get the facts right. There are planes that can fly half way round the world just to carry out a mission. If setting up the command requires a base in Africa which I don't think, then many African countries will be praying to have the base. |
The US does not need Nigeria to set up Africom if they really want do it. There are 52 or 56 countries they can talk to. |
Volumetric:Can you tell meanwhere in this thread where I condemned Nigeria? I only asked you to judge. Your point about the US does not hold water. I have been hearing that since I was a teenager. Nigeria is a young nation. We are 47 years old - those are some of the reasons some shallow thinking people will want you believe are responsible for Nigeria's underdevelopment. God is not going to come down to improve things in Nigeria. We need visionary leaders that mean well for Nigeria and Nigerians. Where I come does not really matter. |

These are motorbikes used as taxis such as in Nigeria. |
Are there no okada in Kenya? |
If you are still not convinced what visionary leaders can do, then check out these clips. http://60minutes.yahoo.com/segment/101/dubai In Nigeria there is too much noise and nothing concrete on the ground to justify our enormous income. Nigerians deserve better than what we have right now. |
Abi o! It's kind of illy for Nigerians to be arguing for other man's country. If I had enough money right now, I'll be booking my ticket and packing my goods and head back home. Home is where the heart is. Home is where you work and earn a living. Period |
Nigeria as a country that needs total turnaround and there is very little that poor individuals can do. The turnaround will be spearheaded by the government through the provision of basic infrastructures like roads, electricity and water. It is then that we can start inviting people home and abroad to contribute their quota. This is the fact. Nigeria is a very rich country even with our population which I think is even a blessing. We need to acknowledge that we have problems, Identify the problems after then think of how to solve the problems. See what other oil rich nations with visionary leaders are doing with their money.

Do you want more Yes we want more. |
shreks:I started the thread to let Nigerians and the world know how horrible the situation is in the mist of abundant resources. We are not asking for much, Basic things like roads, portable water and electricity. Other things will follow. If this will cause a change, fine. That is what we are all praying for. |

Seun:Human life is more important than sentimentality WHEN IT IS A POLITCIAN WHO STOLE PEOPLE'S MONEY. Every human life should be important and not those rogues alone. |
Can fellow Nairalanders please contribute to this list of shameless Nigerians who had the opportunity directly and indirectly to improve the state of healthcare but refused and instead prefer to travel overseas for their own medical treatment and that of their relatives? The good news is that they still die probably as a result of retribution for being selfish. 1. Abdul karem Adisa (Road accident from bad road- A former works minister) 2. Sunday Awoniyi ( Road accident from bad road- A foundation member of PDP) |
ubamu2029:You go kill person oooooooooooooo. The policeman picture looks like a 19th century hunter. This cannot be true. |
