Workch: I want to reside in Lagos and evade tax in Lagos state I'm not talking about you. We know selling gala and drinks under bridge doesn't add a penny to Lagos revenue. I'm talking about the real ones who will beg and do anything to stay in Lagos. You have nothing to lose na. |

Workch: I will start making plans to evade, as much as I can, any Lagos state tax because if I cannot vote in Lagos then I can evade Lagos state tax as well.
There are different types of taxation in Lagos state:
The taxes and other levies payable to LIRS include PAYE tax, withholding tax, business premises levy, development levy.
1. You can evade PAYE tax if you pay into your employee's personal accounts. Don't open any salary account for them.
2. You can evade withholding taxes while doing business with government organizations by inflating the prices of your product or services. You can collude with corrupt Lagos state officials to do that.
3.There's also the monthly and annual tax return: make sure to recieve as much payment into your personal account to evade this. You can only pay tax for monies received in your business account.
You cannot evade development levy and business premises levy, they are usually not very much anyways. Shinedus don dey pay tax untop gala and bra? |

OlawaleBammie: the problem is that no policy can achieve that again, otibo.
The only thing that can happen now is to strategically device a means tru state laws which will limit their influence in Lagos politics and also checkmate how outsiders enter Lagos.
One of the reason I wanted tinubu to win is that he has already seen the handwriting on the wall that is why he said he want to give states the power to govern and enforce law themselves without the interference of the FG. This will allow each state to control themselves and make the laws that benefit them. If not these people would still want to hijack Lagos. Their eyes is on Lagos bro Hopefully things get reformed. I believe this tho, they will all snap out of their obsession with Lagos soon and the impact they felt Obi has on the election. The ginger already died down. LP is even struggling to win their purported strongholds not to talk of other regions. Until this election, we all felt LP would win all 11 south-south/southeast states but now reality is setting in. They will all return to selling their galas and bottled water under bridges till we show them the way out of Lagos or to the lagoon. |

OlawaleBammie: I swear na because of these his brothers make me no vote at all
I didn't want to vote for tinubu based on the Muslim Muslim ticket, but obi that was supposed to come for the rescue, his kinsmen are abusing my tribe day in day out..that is why I said I would rather not collect my pvc that to vote for a tribe that keep demeaning my tribe and still on top of that acuse me of tribalism.. Bros, you see that last line? Steadily insulting my tribe and still labelling me a tribalist? Na there I lose every likeness for the tribe. Lagoon is where they all belong. I hope Sanwo-Olu would be man enough to come up with policies that will chase them out of Lagos for real. They won't be missed. Never. Useless parasites. |

The female gubernatorial candidate is even what's giving me joy the most, coming from Adamawa of all states. One of the northern states where women are seen as second class fiddles, that believe women can't be anything other than a wife.
This is the real revolution, where a girl-child can be anything.

Lagos economy majorly derives it's IGR from igbo businesses and now they have survived the morbid fear of APC loss, watch as they come out begging.
To demonstrate this, sanwo will try to pacify Igbos with more political offices better than gutter cleaning..
But will that be enough? Time shall tell. E ma wo werey elenu rirun. Pacify gini? You think Sanwo-Olu is returning for third term? You're new to politics. Go and learn. |
