Jeferious: If Prigo was highly regarded in Russia and Putin was getting unpopular, I think it's the latter and not the former that should be going on exile...abi you don't think so ?
The whole charade was about the PMC(Wagner) wanting to get more recognition than it was being accorded by the Russian military HQ. It was a sort of protest. If you understand anything beyond this, you're on your own If you think pregozin 50k troops gave him the morale to try marching to Moscow, think again, he has backers even among Putin's government, both civil and military, Putin is aware of this. Pregozin may not be a popular and likeable figure in Russia. However, Russians are getting tired of the number of their soldiers being killed in Ukraine and their is no end in site about the war. Pregozin troops seem to be more successful in Ukraine than regular Russian troops. All these work in favor of the Wagner boss. |

2. Prigozhin will go on exile to Belarus. 3. Wagner will be disbanded 4. An internal crisis was averted
Where is the coward in this achievement? Try again, a coup leader was allowed to leave Russia just like that, a man who's crime is punishable by death. Russia will absorb troops who consist of mostly convicted criminals. You can twist this whichever way you like, but here this ; No one challenged the Wagner chief because lost of the Russian elite forces were in support of his acts and fed up with outing. Putin was not sure if all millatry command will be with him if Wagner enter Moscow. He saw a clear threat to his power and life and gave in to this shameful resolution. He proved all his hard man posture na fake. |

Stoplying: Answer the question:
I don't like people like you who talk so much but don't say anything substantial. You say the guy acted cowardly but can't show any cowardly action from the guy. Pregozin committed treason, he took over millatry installations, marched towards Moscow, was about 200 miles to Moscow before being convinced by lukachenko to rethink. All treason charges against him dropped, his army that rebelled with him forgiven, allowed to leave the country, his army to go back to front line in Ukraine. All these happened while Putin was the President of Russian federation and commander in chief. Do I need to go on to define a coward for you? |

Most families that I know have dump their cars especially here in Abuja. When u move around the city,u will see the situation on ground.
The subsidy removal has affected everything including the way of life of many people here in Nigeria. In my office today, many guys now come to office few times in a week just to cushion the effects of the subsidy removal.
Now that the electricity tariff is about to go up...I wonder how people would cope going forward.

Kingsnairaland: I can show you video of him going to submit forms to work for Russia government directly.... With the rate of cgi and ai... USA evil nato propaganda won't stop
But
This is how things stand. The Western countries have not been able to damage the Russian economy. NATO couldn't defeat the Russians in a regular war or through terrorism.
The United States hasn't been able to isolate Russia diplomatically. The group of powerful people has also failed to turn the Russian population against Putin. So far,
it is Russia that has stopped NATO from directly getting involved in the conflict. On the other hand, Russia has greatly weakened NATO's group of soldiers in Ukraine, and they have also reduced NATO's weapons supplies, which will cost billions to replace.
The Western countries will also need billions of dollars to support the unsuccessful and corrupt Ukrainian government. Additionally, the West is dealing with high debts, a recession, and the growing influence of the BRICS countries that are reducing their reliance on the US dollar.
As a result, it can be said that Russia has inflicted a "strategic defeat" on the Western countries....

teepain: Very good question. Issues like these would help our people to understand the laws that govern them.
The process of renunciation of Nigerian citizenship by birth contains multiple steps. Renunciation is not done by taking the oath of allegiance of another country alone.
After taking the oath of allegiance of the other country, the person seeking to renunciate his/her citizenship by birth will write a letter of application to the Nigerian authorities with evidences documenting the naturalisation of the new country (this includes a letter signed by the officials of the other country whose citizenship is being sought). The applicant will also pay an application fee of #50,000. Thereafter, the Nigerian authorities will process the application. Really, so I will pay to. renounce my Nigerian citizenship? So what if I can't afford the 50k? |
Politics › Re: David Hundeyin Releases Obafemi Hamzat's USA Naturalization Records by egoldman(m): 11:52am On Jun 23, 2023 |
seunmsg: The Hamzat naturalization argument is mere distraction and empty noise. That a Nigerian whose citizenship is by birth cannot lose the rights of a citizen is a settled case. Funny enough, the precedent was even in a case involving LP.
LABOUR PARTY & ORS v. ISHOLA & ORS (2014) LPELR-24386(CA)
“… when a Nigerian by Naturalisation or Registration acquires the citizenship of another country he loses his right as a naturalized Nigeria. Such a person would not be able to contest any election into any elative office in Nigeria. However, a Nigerian by birth who thereafter acquires the citizenship of another country i.e. America as in the instant case does not lose his right to vie for any elective office in Nigeria being a citizen by birth and not by naturalization or registration.” Per, MUDASHIRU NASIRU ONIYANGI ,J.C.A ( Pp. 18-23, paras. F-A )
The leadership of Lagos state and Nigeria will never ever be allowed to slip into the hands of incompetent, hate filled and divisive characters that make up the Labour Party. Never! So what is renunciation of citizenship by adult? |
