Butterflyle0: Let the Police do their job. The letter clearly said its a fact finding invitation and not an arrest.
Lately he has been busy inciting the public and spreading false and unfounded news about people especially of the VP and the President as well as a tweet he dropped where he was inciting ipob to take up arms against the FG and embark on a bloody struggle.
In saner Climes he would have been arrested but this is a simple invitation.
Let him go and answer his name What about the Meyatti Allah guys that actually accepted the fact that they killed Nigerians to avenge their cows? Don't you think they need to be invited too? |

Singalong: No we have to recognize freedom and humility even if we are "afonja" as you Igbos call us. I do not call anyone afonja, run a check on my posts and comments since joining Nairaland and confirm that. The grill guy I quoted certainly has an issue with ipob, so when he starts calling ipob women his sisters, that will surely raise eyebrows. Meanwhile, does your freedom and humility accommodate calling me Igbo? |

Buhari's has divided Nigerians more than ever before. This stupid arrests of peaceful protesters will only bring more members to ipob and hatred to the federal government at least from the east. Yes I agree Buhari has very bad advisers if thinks this is the best way to make. Nigeria one Don't forget this women will imbibe the hatred they have for Buhari now to their kids and even those yet to be born. This is how Buhari is making Nigeria one. |

gidgiddy: In civilised countries, if the Army is to go on a training exercise, they either do it in their baraks or in an isolated place that is far from the civilian populace. The reason is that the Army uses guns, tanks and artillery in its training, all of which are life threatening.
It is only in uncivilised countries such as Nigeria that you will see the Army roaming the streets with guns, killing unarmed people in the name of fighting separatist organisation.
The job of the Army is national defence, not crime fighting. Crime prevention is the job of the Police. You only call in the Army when the Police cannot cope with the situation on the ground.
Operation Python dance is just state sponsored terrorism against the people. Gbam. |

It was wrong in Jonathan's time, same also in this Buhari time.
Two wrongs do not make a right, the fact that Jonathan did it is not an excuse for Buhari do it now, therefore as far as we are concerned we are presently dealing with a dictator in Nigeria and this blames and comparisons with the previous regime have become childish and even stupid.
When u meet a bad situation, you try your best to make it right not worst, this is where Buhari has failed Nigerians. |

DaniDani: My concern is that we are very few in number; who neither supported Jonathan nor Buhari. The options before us then were many but the elites controlled the Masses and polarised the election between Jonathan and Buhari. They were two bad options. I was seriously lamenting over this issue then, Soyinka too wrote so much articles pointing on two bad options before us, they termed him "confused man". Today those who voted for heartless and merciless Buhari are complaining while those who didn't vote for clueless and carefree Jonathan are regretting. May we not be in such a terrible dilemma again! Gbam, your head dey there bro, though running from frying pan to fire is not the best of options. |

post=69925450: Arguably the most high-profile detainee is Sambo Dasuki, once a security adviser to Buhari’s predecessor Goodluck Jonathan. Charged with offenses related to money laundering and diverting money supposed to be used to buy arms to fight Islamist militant group Boko Haram, Dasuki has been held for three years as bail orders, including from an Economic Community of West African States court, have been ignored.
You even mentioned Dasuki is a high profile-detainee. Anybody that wants this cruel rogue released without the country knowing the main root of the matter is nothing but a fellow rogue and devil. A man who hundreds of soldiers died on the battlefield and was charged with offenses related to money laundering and diverting money supposed to be used to buy arms to fight Islamist militant group Boko Haram. A man that was sharing money like father Christmas. A man who whispered on whose order he was sharing the narional cake but the man that gave the order denied. A man that lot of people who collected this billions of dollars named him as the facilitators....and you want him released? There was a nation!
The sane ones here can read this and marvel!
1. I acted based on Jonathan's instruction - Dasuki
2. I didn't give order - Jonathan
3. I collected 350M from Dasuki for consultation - Iyorchia Ayu
4. I only collected $30,000 from Dasuki not N100m - Bode George
5. I got N4.6b from Dasuki for spiritual purposes - Bafarawa
6. I got N650M from Dasuki for my Abuja burnt office - Thisday Obaigbena.
7. I got N2.1b from Dasuki for publicity - Dokpesi
8. I got another N100m from Yuguda he didn't tell me from where - Bafarawa.
9. I gave N100m each to Odili, Jim Nwobodo Bode George and others - Yuguda
10. The president asked me to change N10B to foreign currency for PDP delegates - Dasuki
11. My boss asked me to get $11M from the CBN - Dasuki's account officer.
12. I got order from above to pay Tompolo N13B for Maritime university land. - Nimasa DG.
13. 950m was shared in my house -- Shekarau
With all these looting and many more revealed, some people are still shouting no sign of change yet, they even say it's political persecution. But we believe, it is the right thing to do to fight against corruption and looting in our nation. There must be consequences for such crimes otherwise Nigeria will not develop.
.......In Vietnam, corrupt politicians are executed, but in Nigeria, they are celebrated by corrupt youths! Having said all these, do you think it's right for the president to disobey the courts. |
