I have had a similar experience year back, My junior brother had called from Nigeria to inform me that armed robbers had taken more than $13,000 that I had sent home from him.
Less than 100,000 naira was mine out of the whole amount. I was with my wife when I got this bad news. We got home and I went straight to the room, switched off my phone as i didn't have any answers yet to give the owners of the money.
