Hello Guys,

I need to replace the information on the hotel I will be staying, I cant get an email confirmation of the one I filled in but have a booking reference number, I feel this is not enough information to prove to the VO that I have a place to stay, hence I want to book in another hotel and get an emailed confirmation of my booking and then update the information in my application with the new hotel address. How do I go about sorting this issue out without rendering my application invalid and changing my appointment date which is for ending of Aug.

FinanceFitness: Why not fill out another DAS160 form and use studio 6 or Ramada? Studio 6 will even book it without card details.

Thanks for ur suggestion, but I was wondering if filling another DS160 will make my appointment date invalid, cos I don't want to loose that date, can I still fill another form and keep the appointment date? (date is Aug 26th).

Logictinz: Ehido, how did you manage to get the confirmation page for the intown suite booking reservation. Am having same issue.

The situation with the intown suites booking is still same, I've not been able to get a confirmation. I'm still wondering how to go abt it before my embassy appointment date arrives.

egariyi: After completing your online booking, click send and wait for som seconds or mins and the reservation confirmation will appear. Print and use. Note that u must wait to print it as this is not sent to your email addy.

I have tried what u said, even tried it again this morning, a blank page comes up telling me that the reservation was successful and to expect email shortly but nothing after that, I have tried with three different browsers firefox, internet explorer and google chrome, so i think its not a browser compatibility problem. if anybody has gotten a booking from intown suites in the last 1 week kindly explain to me how it was done.

egariyi: Pls make online reservation with Intown suites and you will receive instant reservation comfirmation. This is what we used during our visa interview. You will not be asked to pay any money until u arrive there. It's also within your budget compared to other options like Ramada.

Pls how did you the booking from intown suites, I have been trying to book but i dont seem to get any reservation email sent to my box even when it says so on their site. I have cross checked my email and its very correct, I'm stock with intown suites now cos thats what I filled in my visa application as where we will be staying, I dont want to raise any form of suspicion by booking another hotel in el paso.

My wife is due in the last week of December by Gods grace, therefore if Granted visa she should be leaving Nigeria mid or late November for El Paso. My main concerns are these, i filled in the visa application form that I will be staying at In town suites, i called the lady she made a booking for us and gave us the booking ref. she promised to send the booking confirmation via mail but have not done so, I want to know if the verbal booking reference she gave me is enough to present at the embassy as proof that I and my wife will have a place to stay (we indicated that we have no relatives in America).

Also for those that have stayed in intown suites elpaso or those currently in the town, what is the distance from intown suites to the clinic, how can prepared are they in the case of emergency e.g. when labour starts,

How easy is it to move around town in El paso, e.g. doctors appointments, grocery shopping, baby shopping and all the passport and document waka.

for the Mothers that had no companion how easy was it to settle down in the town as my wife will be travelling abt two weeks ahead of me because of my work commitments also how effective is the nanny service just incase i cant make it when the baby eventually comes because she might be alone.

My wife is 15 weeks gone in her pregnancy, we've decided that we want to have the baby in the USA.

From what i have read on this thread, having a baby in houston is cheaper because they have good packages, the thing is she has a sister in colorado. I'ld like to also know if there are suitable hospitals one can call and follow up over there

Also is it too late to start the planning at 15 weeks, can we say we are going for holiday instead of stating that we want to have the baby there? My wife hasnt travelled out of Nigeria before how does that affect her chances even though i have travelled out of Nigeria and work for an American company in Nigeria and can show proof that i can foot all the bills. can we get the visa with the intention of staying in colorado but instead stay on our own in houston?


If I want to apply for visa with the intent of stating that we want to have our baby in america, wht documents will I have to show to back up the application.

Thanks Ikenna and Chiebube for ur responses. Pls is it possible that it was the heat frm the engine that led to the leaking condenser as the guy told me? The electrician also told me that the engine heat also led to a blown gasket on an avalon which uses same engine. One thing is sure though I'm returning the fan to its original connection. Thanks again guys.

Abt 3 months ago I had to repair the ac of our HighlanderN the ac repairer filled the gas and put oil in it saying the oil was to detect any leak in the condenser located in front of the car but unfortunately he didn't check thoroughly.
Fast forward to abt 3 months after the ac wasn't cooling againN took it to another ac person and a leak was detected on the condenser he said since the leak was inside we have to buy a new one and so we did, it was installed and the gas was topped, now the ac is working perfectly.
My point of confusion was when he said the heat in the engine must have caused the leak cos the fan speed was not sufficient to cool the condenser so he advised that the fan speed be increased, we called a nearby auto electician and he bridged the fan immediately he did I could hear the noise of the fan and to be fair to them the engine is now cooler as the bonet is not usually as hot as it used to get but I hate the sound of the fans I used to enjoy that super quiet engine but that groan of the fans can be so annoyin. Before I could sneak up on someone and the person won't notice until I blar the horn but now that fan sound just makes the engine noise noticeable.
My question is, was bridging the fans correct and if not what shld have been done. Can I reduce the noise of the fans?
Pls forgive me for the long post, it was just so I could state the issue clearly.

Hello dear gurus in the house, u guys have always been of help. Pls I've got some concerns with my car

I have a 2007 highalnder 4wd v6 3.3l limited edition.

I hear some noise from the steering wheel area at very low speed below 5mph when drivin on a rough rd and I get some noise like grinding metals from the right front wheel when drivin at speeds over 70mph but I don't hear anything at lower speeds and the car runs very smooth. Just wondering what could be the cause of these noises.

Hello all, my car ac has not been blowing cool air for sometime now, its a bit cool in the mornings but not cool at all during hot sun, I cleaned the filter and my guess now is that maybe the refrigirant has been exhausted. Please where can I get a good ac person to work on my car.

Pls why is this a bad practice?

My father has a habit of reving a car engine before parking infact growing up that's how we know he's back. This habit is still so embedded in him such that he does same to a highlander 2007 limited. When I told him to stop the practice he said it is necessary to remove the carbons from the engine. We had an argument about it but he still continues with this habit

Guys is this practice advisable? If not what reasons can I give him to stop this?
