plaetton:Yeah...to the natural man (Don't forget to add that). It's good if you know just THAT. It'd be a good start indeed. |
plaetton:I went through your Nairaland history and found you're an ardent campaigner against theism. You've heard the answer to this question you're asking me time and again and haven't yet come to terms with them, neither do I expect you to do with mine--if I were to give one. Mr., God is not a democrat, His infinite love nevertheless. His ways are not 'thought out.' He wants those who will accept without questioning. Kinda weird? That's our God. He's weird...to the natural man. Henceforth, I enjoin you not to try to 'reason out' God anymore. YOU can't get it...it'd be weird. God bless you. |
robedu:You've been a blessing to mankind. I wish our world can have more of people such as you. I don't know how to express my appreciation and love for what you've done. In fact, tears are almost beginning to well up in my eyes. GOD BLESS YOU. May God himself secure your marriage. I hope to be of help to people in similar ways later in time, God helping me. You've even been a source of encouragement to my dreams. Once again, GOD BLESS YOU. |
jayriginal:From your first post on this topic, I infer the 'issue at hand' is the 'devastating' effect of the op's 'view.' In a concise statement, what are these 'devastating' effects? 'Obey or else...'? |
Obalende:God...bless you. |
jayriginal:The life we're called unto is a life without any form of sexual experience with (or without) any other, apart from one's spouse. If THAT is what you call celibacy, it's a very fundamental part of Christianity. Like the op corroborated, sex outside marriage is the very involvement with devastating consequences. |
jayriginal:'Devastating' view or not, what's more important is abstaining from sexual sin--the sin against God and one's own body. Regardless of the form of 'view,' an end is what is need--sexual purity. Any 'view' that permits--in any form-- sexual immorality is out of it! We've been called unto a life of purity, of holiness. That's it. |
Princecalm:Yeah...tough people do. |
Wow! God bless the op. Insightful! |
*exhales* Tough times indeed.... There's always hope. Weldone op. |
lanicky:Excuse me! Wet dreams are natural and are not optional. They are reflex. Wet dreams are very far from xes. Got that?! |
dechandel:Who's Caroline Danjuma? You? ![]() |
Oildichotomy:Hillarious. Compesating genes.... NO TIME! ![]() |
Wow! |
Adedayo516:Merci. Enjoy the rest of your day. |
Adedayo516:Hello. Sorry I'm bringing up an old post. Could you tell me who told you this? Thanks. |
HE NEVER SAID 'ONLY GOD KNOWS...'!!!!! THIS IS ONE THING I FIND ANNOYING ABOUT THE PRESS, THEY MANIPULTATE STATEMENTS TO SUIT THEMSELVES. NONSENSE! 'God knows...,' is it 'Only God knows'? Why was ONLY added if not for selfish and insincere reasons? It's getting highly irritating! I would hardly believe anything I hear from mass media anymore, especially in whole! P. S.: I take my stance from first hand information, I was at the meeting. Potential stalkers, take note. |

What exactly is happening? I went through the op and DID NOT see ANY of the man's quotes stating according to the topic. The closest to the claimed statement was "On what would happen having prophesied that the two leading presidential candidates would not be president after February elections, the 64-year-old prophet vacillated, saying: “I can see the glory of Nigeria in the South East and I don’t agree with Wole Soyinka that Jonathan is Nebuchadnezzar; Jonathan IS a FORERUNNUR TO THE GLORY OF GOD.” NOWHERE IN THE PIECE DID THE MAN STATE THAT NEITHER OF THE ASPIRANTS WILL RTLE AFTER FEB 14. In fact, he approved of Jonathan. If he stated so truly, let the op QUOTE him. Otherwise, the topic is all trashy. P.S.: I couldn't use the NL quote as I would. Thanks for understanding. |
No, they don't. |
TIME?! |
BabaAlabi:Huh? Can you please enlighten me on how the CGPA is calculated with respect to the levels then? Engrtemmy: |
Interesting. No disagreement with the list. Well expectant of the list too. |
Special note to the 'Perfectionist' and the 'NO THOUGHT' syndrome (Nos. 5&6). Well informative. |
Chemical2:Merci!! You nailed it. It's good discussing with you. Once again, many thanks. |
Chemical2:Thanks for being sincere and straight. Do you think, sir, that going for such degree is worth it, given the "nation we find ourselves in"? |
Im Bovi's voice, "Go an...Go an...!" You could complete it. |
Chemical2:Thanks for your reply. What I mean is: many of the ads request for a B.Sc and NOT M.Sc. I'm talkimg about the acceptability of the MSc (in Engineering). |
One, she wants to come around for clearance, depicting she's coming for a short stay; clearance shouldn't take more than a week. By the way, you MUSTN'T sleep on the same bed; not even in the same room if you don't want to have anything with her. You should be able to endure for a week, or thereabout. Isn't it? |
*winks* |
Chemical2:But, most of the vacancies I see for chemical engineers (graduate positions especially) in the country request for a B.Sc (or B.Eng). What do you say about that? |
Wow! Now it does not seem very easy for him to win it. He should have been awarded the last time. I wish him the best, though. |
