ThoniaSlim: I'm planing on doing my masters next year and the schools I'm interested in, said I''m qualified for a scholarship because of my grades! Get those good grades and do not stop trying to improve yourself! While you leave for your masters, does the company still regard you as their employee? |
donroxy: Bro, the pain you would pass through to enrol in 2years M.sc/MBA and other professional exams while applying for Jobs is better-off than Pain of Unemployment for many years and even without any prospect !Applying for jobs while doing an Msc: two questions. One, will the organisation one is applying to recognise the about-to-be-procured certificate? Two, in a case of, say 7 months before the completion of the degree at which one is offered the employment, will the employing organisation uphold the employment until the individual is through with their programme? |
Thank you very much, sir Xfire. |
onojemmayahoo: Stop deceiving yourself with this 2.1 and first class crap.It is good, this does not determine your success in life, your ability to make it in life is your personal effort, zeal, determination for success and above all God's grace and mercy. There are many "first class" and "2.1" guys roaming the streets and still jobless.Check his ^^ moniker, it says it all. |

This one is strong! |
Wow. When last was I this tense before a football match? |
xfire: Definitely. There's no doubt about that. Ehimenboy: Hi everyone. I asked this question in another thread but didn't receive a satisfactory reply: Can a bsc holder in chemistry with a post-graduate diploma in chemical engineering do a masters in the field (chemical engineering)?I don't mean to pester you unnecessarily sir but for the avoidance of wrong decisions. Someone said many companies don't employ engineers without a B.Eng. Is it advisable I go on with my plans (Bsc + masters) being interested in the field, sir? |
Wow. he said that he knew, not before the match but during the match--at about half-time. I particularly don't see anything wrong in what he said. It's very possible a coach sees defeat very imminent and that's why, according to him, he charged them against 'not playing their game'. It's the first group match; if the Super Eagles learn from their mistakes and utilize their experience constructively, we're coming out of the group-- and GALLANTLY! Super Eagles for life! |
Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi, has said he saw his team’s 3-2 defeat to Congo in their 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at the U.J. Esuene Stadium, coming. The African champions are now third in Group A of the qualifiers behind leaders South Africa and Congo while Sudan are last on the log, after posting a poor performance in their first game after the World Cup. “I’m very disappointed. It was not just the result but the way we played in the first half. I was like a soothsayer because I saw it coming and I talked to the boys that they had to be aggressive and first to the ball. “I’ve played against the Congolese team before and I know they play tip-tap football. We scored the first goal and that was it. It’s a shame that we had opportunities, mostly in the second half, but we could not score,” Keshi said immediately after the game. Keshi said he charged the players in the dressing room in a bid to restore pride but admitted that his team was frustrated by the defensive and delay tactics of their opponents. He added, “I told them (players) they were not playing their game. They were not themselves, they were not playing, they were second to the ball and they needed to change the mentality. They came back in the second half and you could see the difference. But if you are playing a team like this, they are going to come hard and park the bus. And that’s what they did in the second half. Who won’t do it? “I can understand the frustration, the Congolese team delaying the game, killing the game. It became an anger problem and its part of the game. “It’s football. Brazil lost 7-1 and we lost today (Saturday). Everybody is going to lose someday. We cannot win all the games all the time. This is where we need the media and Nigerians. They have to be behind the team, so that we can go to South Africa and win” http://www.punchng.com/sports/i-knew-eagles-would-lose-keshi/ |
Wonders shall never end! |
Nigeria's former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo has been appointed the Chancellor of the newly established Jigawa State University. According to a press release from the office of state's Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, ProfessorHaruna Wakili, Obasanjo's appointment as the first chancellor of the university was approved by the state governor Sule Lamido. Lamido had also sent a formal letter to the former president. Wakili said Obasanjo's appointment was backed by Section 8 of Jigawa State University Law, 2013 and Section 2 of the second schedule of the law which vested the visitor of the university with the powers to appoint chancellor for the university. The commissioner added that Obasanjo was chosen for his contributions to making a modern Nigeria. Lamido served as Foreign minister of Nigeria, during Obsanjo's second tenure as a democratic President, from 1999 to 2003. |
xfire: Definitely. There's no doubt about that. Thanks a lot, sir. |
Hi everyone. I asked this question in another thread but didn't receive a satisfactory reply: Can a bsc holder in chemistry with a post-graduate diploma in chemical engineering do a masters in the field (chemical engineering)? |
Thank you very much charleff 512. How many years does it take to do a PGD and is payment (of fees) made at one time, for all? |
charleff512: A postgraduate Diploma is offered to students who are moving fro one field of study to anotherThanks but don't you think those who have their first degrees in those fields are preferred to those who 'switched'? |
For example, can I get an Msc in Chemical engineering with a postgraduate diploma in chem eng? |
Hello everyone. I want to ask a question. Is a postgraduate diploma in Pet. Eng equivalent to a Bsc/B.eng in Petroleum Engineerin? |
ayaomoade: Post graduate diploma in what course and country?Say...any engineering field; Nigeria (specificaly Chemical Engineering) |
In... |
Kindly. don't hesitate to comment if you know what it's about. |
Recently while ruminating on what career path to choose from available options, I came across post-graduate diplomas I could take up into some other fields. Apart from the purpose of upgrading a deficient degree, what does a post-graduate diploma entail (preferrably with respect to the society)? I'll be grateful for well-meaning responses. |
JeffreyJamez: Na 6 o!!!! ....see MIKEL o!!!What did he do? |
Yupee! How about if this makes frontpage again so more people can learn too. |
Please I need a list of postgraduate degrees (or a link to them) that can be obtained by a bsc holder in Chemistry in UI. |
Ehimenboy: *following*....expecting more....Wow! So I posted on the 2nd page of this thread?! |
xtian234: good morning all,pls am a direct entry asparant of ui and from the east i want to know what my chances of been pick for admission are my o levels are 7 b's ad 2c.pls urgent answer plzOh. On behalf of others, I apologise for the "un-urgent" reply. Of course there are other criteria for admission through d.e apart from o'level results. Your o'level results are OK; I mean perfect as far as you have the right subject combination (the brochure should confirm that). You indicated that you were from the east, in UI, there's no seggregation by origin. It's purely by merit. |
Saheed9: Are u serious? At least now, the 2nd choice era is over. It cost me...and yeah, they weren't A BIT biased. I'm an insider now so you can bank on that. |
That UI does not accept second choice candidates for professional courses. |
goal? |
But why is the whole thing boring? How much I pity Chile... |
