No hard feelings brother. Let's maintain the serene atmosphere please. You are entitled to your opinion and I respect that, but then, there are many others that might be interested in what you aren't. Its obvious you are a book lover too for you to enter this thread and adopt the sacred hashtag. Nonetheless, please let's keep books at the centre stage in this thread NOT recriminations directed at people (this admonition goes for everyone in this thread). Maturity consists in knowing what to pay attention to and what to ignore.
Thanks for sharing though.
You're much welcome.

. if it were to be a thread on Kim k or tonto dike, it would have hit the FP. Nigerian youths have lost there reading culture. No wonder we record high rate of failure in Ssce exams.

Lord have mercy.
Hope you're not referring to me along side your 'Nigerian youths.' If I didn't love books, I wouldn't have viewed the thread at all. Didn't you see I acknowledged it was 'interesting to comment on?' In fact, tell me if you read through all the lines of the thread before commenting. What should I care about in Econs, or some weird looking 'Shakespearan' name? I love books, please!
If you were thoughtful enough, you wouldn't have quoted me.

I didn't want to enlist a book but this person's made me to.
For the Christian faithfuls in the house, check out 'The Prayer of Jabez' by Bruce Wilkinson, read and see your prayer life change. To general readers, see 'Think and Grow Rich' by Napoleon Hill, tis epic; then to my fellow missionaries in the field of Chemistry, see 'Advanced Chemistry' by Mathews, a book by Cambridge--it's much rich, to put it simple.

Hello everyone someone said he did his chest X-ray in Jaja. I presume Jaja is in Ibadan, so is it advisable for those outside Ibadan who are freshers to do thier chest X-ray where they are residing presently to save them the stress of the long queues? Or is it strictly Jaja? Thanks for ur anticipated reply.
There are a number of accredited hospitals in Ibadan where the school allows one to have the x-ray done. 'Jaja' is the clinic of the University Health Service in 'UI', more oflficially called 'Jaja clinic'.
When you get to the school, you could board a taxi to the clinic (behind KUTI hall) or ask for directions from people around. Tell anyone you meet there you want to have your x-ray done. If you go now, the process should not take more than one hour.
See:
"Newly admitted students of the University of Ibadan for the 2013/2014 Academic Session are enjoined to have their Chest X-rays done at these designated X-ray centres before the commencement of the screening.
All Chest X-raysMUSTbe accompanied with aRADIOLOGIST’S REPORTduly stamped and signed by aRADIOLOGIST.
The designated X-ray Centres are:
X-RAY CENTRES
University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan
Ultrarad X-ray Centre, University Health Service, University of Ibadan
Komis X-ray Centre, Total Garden area, beside NMA House Ibadan
Metro X-ray Centre, 2ndBuilding beside Alleluiah Petrol Station Just before Sango Garage"

Do you know that the amount of electricity that must be supplied daily is always maintained? During the day, there wont be light in the halls( not always tho) and at that time, there will be light at d LTs and other administrative blocks, reverse is the case at night. If you've ever gone to the faculty of technology at night, you will see peepz reading with lamps in an open space. This implies that students want this night class but since the school cannot provide what is needed for that, they have no option than to just stay indoor. As to KDL things, I laff... I'm sure you've never gone there before. OP reference to CLASS doesnt mean they hold classes at night, a night class is just like what we call personal TDB in UI or if by chance, group discussion which happens a lot in KDL... a lot i repeat. As to d tutorial thingy, go to KDL and see i repeat, u see gatherings of three to four in batches all around.. And as to the immorality going in in the KDL, all UItes know this.... I wont say anything in public....*winks*

Nope.... Was a UIte.... Now a Unilorite#MBBS
Alright. Must you put '-ite' to make every school-related acronym? Nigerian students!
Anyway, you're so active on UI's thread. You seem to still have some emotional connection with the school.

Wow. This school is really impressive. They pushed through all the 'big, first generation schools' to get to the top, even IFE?!
They deserve to be commended.
Private school...in this Nigeria?! Wow.

The only reason why there's no such is due to three reasons: 1. All UI lecture theatres are always locked at night 2. Hardly you'll find light around the faculty areas at night( there will be light in the halls). And some LT doesnt have enough bulbs to be make use at night eg CBN. 3. Every halls has its own reading room cuz of the aforementioned reason.

In the exam period, Go to KDL and see movies... It's worse than this
Of all the reasons you gave, the first is the only tenable reason. It's not a function of inability to provide power but the fact that IT ISN'T DONE IN THE SCHOOL. How many of those schools where night classes exist have more power supply than your school? Besides, those in KDL are there for personal study. That op's was a CLASS! Do they hold classes in KDL? It's a function of regulation, not inadequacy. Get it.

P. S.: Erm, is this Layomi, Pharmacy?

Yeah. All night readings, at best, are within the halls of residences PROVIDED OTHERS AREN'T DISTURBED.

You could ask the same question in the postgraduate thread for UI admission in the section. Otherwise, check the school's postgraduate 'site.' They should be able to give you the desired info. More still, a comprehensive Google search could help too. Three options (or more) at your feet.
By the way, your use of English is quite something...weldone.
