Chuksteric: Funny enough we're not paid .. I hate MIui... Apart From that, transion keeps rolling out rubbish... Watch between the camon 15 and rn8 and see which stands the test of time..
ucle, that's your choice. every body has choices to make as regards there money
Blackmiserable: I mean it would be nice to browse without unnecessary permutations, or checking data balance.
Shouldn't there be special incentives for people who rely on the web
Service provider of many countries do, but why here? For $99 AUD you can surf the unlimited plan in Australia on Telstra, the best service provider there. That's just less than 25 thousand naira.
i doubt if mobile internet has the unlimited package
Darlinx01: Goodday guys. I've been wondering why people spend money on outdated iphones? Like if u are not going to buy the iphone x and upwards? Why spend so much money on dat outdated design, poor battery life etc when u could get better offers from android? Why say ios or ntin? Why buy a phone which u cant carry abt without a powerbank? Its true dey've gat good processors, cool optimizations and stuffs, but you'll get good competitions frm android wit few compromises, but better screen, better battery at same or even lesser prices? Why go for iphone 6s or even 7 when u can get better phones like d redmi note 8, etc or even d iphone 8 plus when u could get better value for money such as realme x50 pro with sd855, and other cooler choices. Dnt buy brand name....think quality.
i'm telling you. Android is very good and i wonder the fuss about the apple product??
talktalk4u: lets call a spade a spade before you tag anybrand trash make sure your SW is perfect .. Which Mi hasnt done yet we still have bugs killing us but we are too ignorant to speak . i was totally fooled last year when i was making mouth in my compound with transsion users mocking them bout their devices only for me to be fooled by MI Mi 9T device ... to cut the story short i got this device to enable enjoy PUBG very well and seeing my compound guys playing this game with a bluetooth controller pad na i run go buy MI 9T the feeling was awsome hearing the news about the device for gaming what i noticed is as follows 1 . i noticed no headset , 2. i keep getting HTML View bug notification , 3. Xiaomi Sim Activation Error , 4. Very Slow Wifi Speed Eg very slow speed when connected to wifi. 5. device can not support Bluetooth control pad once connected the device will start lagging and then freeze up till i carry out a hard restart , 6. Facebook video call malfunctions cam sometimes automatically goes into landscape mode and wil never return back to portrait mode , 7. it took me 2months to successfully update my phone with update pack 554mb which means OTA server is very slow ...
And Lastly camera is not well detailed for a 48mp device ? why should i have to use 3rd party APK Gcam to improve my image
please nobody should say its a fake one because MI officails confirmed it and stated its a product Bug which affacted some product Batch .
What i noticed about this Xiaomi fans is they pretend that all is well with their product and will never help you fix it even their staffs cant help . but they always attack other brands
I thought they said Xaiomi was the best device ever??
like I said every body has a reason for any phone he or she chooses just like u. as an engineer u use ipone because of certain tin u do which android can't do , ok. now let say for me I just need a sleek phone with body beauty or intend for playing music, just snap and just want to belong and my money can afford d likes of Itel and co, Wht do u expect me to do. I shud steal because u re hyping one phone were by d moment Itel change version iphone ll change too!. C'mon, who ever produced dis phones Ve a target market and once de get there dat is it. stop all dis bashing. let dem sell der product in as much it can last for d one warranty provided in it no problem. who use Itel today fit use iPhone 30+ tomorrow likewise d other way round. just let dem breath provided dem no kill person
You went from having a good point to forcing me to ask if you're a little racist. You just put Xiaomi, Huawei and Oppo in the same class as Tecno and Infinix. Just cos they're all from China, it doesn't mean they're remotely the same. Get a proper education on the matter please! There's a world of good mobiles outside the narrow spectrum of Samsung and Apple
Symplyanna: The new itel P36 series is here for everyone. It has features and I know you’re gonna love it, comes with a 5000mAh battery and 10w fast charging with an upgraded AI Power Master. Also, Face unlock and fingerprint sensor. It comes with 6.5’’ HD+ Water drop Full screen design. I sure you’re gonna love it. For my selfie lovers, it comes with Dual Rear Camera with portrait mode. And also, big memory.
EnuguAwka: How can one company be producing 3 different brands but same exact content and disguising as though they were all different?
Even added Oraimo accessories to it, yet they sign different artistes as ambassadors, pay for ads separately.
Recycling same content.
Do you know how many Camons and pouvirs introduced in just 3 months ?
These guys can only thrive in a useless corn-tree like Nigeria where no standards exist.
Re-read what you wrote and ask yourself if what you just typed made any sense to you. oppo, Vivo, Oneplus are from one parent company,so whats the issue here?
Elmagnificient: pls my fellow nairalanders, i need advise, i am a student and i dont really know about phones and i want to buy an android phone within the range of #50000 to #60000, which good phone can i buy...
Per a Google issue tracker thread (as reported by Android Police), installing APKs would not be so straightforward come Android 11. On Android 10 and earlier versions, you are asked to okay an APK install, after which you are taken back to the app in question. You take off from where you left off. Android 11, on the other hand, is governed by the Scoped Storage system. As the name implies, apps will only be given access to app-specific directories. As a result, the download process for non-Google Play apps has become a little complicated. Per testers, when permission is now granted to an app, it is force-stopped. It's reloaded when launched again, which means background work and unsaved input could get lost. It would send out the impression that the app has crashed or it is buggy. If it's any consolation, apps would be killed only the first time. Then once they have the specific permissions, they should work fine.Prior to this, Android only used to force-stop apps when permissions were revoked. This is new behavior and an annoying one at that.
Here is what Google has said on the matter: [qoute]The way the filesystem and storage mounts are setup in Android R has changed significantly. When an app starts without this permission, it gets a view of the filesystem that doesn't allow writing to certain directories (eg Android/obb). Once the app has been granted this permission, that view is no longer accurate, and needs to be updated to a view that allows the app to write to certain directories. With the way the filesystem has been setup in R, changing that view on the fly is not possible. As mentioned in comment #16, we're evaluating internally. I'm just providing additional details why this doesn't work the way it did on[/quote]
Based on the statement, it's possible that on the final build of Android 11, this wouldn't happen. Even if the behavior gets implemented in its current form, it would just be a one-time occurrence.
Am just an honest observer and critic of inferior and dishonest Brand's, (I know that is the reason you tagged me as a marketer)
Believe what you want to
but I know the day Xiaomi or any other good brand starts taking advantage over tech illiterate and unsuspecting hard working Africans like a useless brand does (Transsion), I would still stand up for the truth and bash them with critics backed up with evidence like i do to your Transsion.
a Marketer will always wanna defend himself. I'm not surprised. What you should know is everybody has what appeals to them, if you now choose to force your beliefs on others, why shouldn't you be called a self centred or a narcissist?
yungsmart: You are talking in the rubbish You are talking in the nonsense You are talking in the thing that does not have a good experience.
For the fact that they come against every transsion products with evidence does not mean they are marketers, it simply means they are individuals like you and I who researched to know what works, and makes a great phone and be able to contrast with what transsions is giving us. Ask questions don't just come to conclusion.
Oga it's a lie. Why can't you also see those talking about Tecno as just individuals? For all I care, Xaiomi has marketers which I don't even see as a bad thing
Danielle123: Xioami don't have office in nigeria and they don't have marketers on nairaland. Their phones are cheaper than tecno and infinix, and also have better processor. They hv won the hearts of many phone users in nigeria.
how do you know they do the have marketers on nairaland?
PaulucheBusines: It is no news that smartphone users always want to get their hands on the latest and most innovative smartphones.
Unfortunately, the more innovative most smartphone brands get, the more expensive their offerings become, putting these modern smartphones out of most people’s reach.
Despite this, consumers continue to have increased expectations of their smartphones; from large storage space and superior camera quality, to long-lasting battery life and powerful performance, all at a price they won’t have to break the bank for.
With the new TECNO Spark 5 Series, TECNO has met and exceeded such expectations while having the financial concerns of their fans at heart. The smartphone brand has once again designed a product that delivers a premium experience and a power-packed performance with the best of Artificial Intelligence at a sweet price range.
The Spark 5 Series comes out of the box with TECNO’s proprietary HiOS which is based on Android Q. The smartphone has a unique AI powered 5 camera system that differentiates it from any other device in its category. For the young, urban, aspirational consumer, the Spark 5 combines the latest in technology breakthroughs while allowing them to share their photos and videos across their social media channels with ease.
Questions people usually ask when they want to get a new phone this season:
- Can I afford it? - How good is the camera? - I hope I will not have to spend a lot to fix the screen if screen is broken. - Is the selfie camera very amazing? - Does it have a good storage?
Spark 5 series ticks all these boxes.
Indeed, Spark 5 gives its users a transformative AI powered camera experience. Equipped with a 13 megapixel rear AI Quad camera and an 8 megapixel front camera, SPARK 5 brings unmatched quality in image and video creation. The cameras at the back consist of a primary camera, a camera that captures depth of field, AI lens for edge detection in portraits, face recognition, and color profile enhancements as well as a macro lens for photographing small subjects at very close distances.
Behind the scenes, SPARK 5’s cameras are powered by an AI Camera 3.0 algorithm and AI Scene Detection. It also features 6 flashlights with 4 situated around the back camera and a dual front flash. Users can also enjoy close-up photography with a 4 cm macro photography mode that enables them to capture small and minute details. Additionally, the device includes AI HDR technology to increase dynamic range beyond what is captured by the camera's sensors, allowing users to take photos with a higher dynamic range, fewer noise and clearer details.
TECNO’s Spark 5 Series is a High Performing Machine. It allows for a wide range of user customization without requiring rooting the mobile device. The operating system is also bundled with utility applications that allow users to free up memory, freeze applications, limit data accessibility to applications, and more. See? Worry no more about going out of storage or memory on an affordable phone. Building upon the Spark 4’s battery performance, the Spark 5 Series packs a punch with a powerful 5,000 mAh battery, so that consumers can run powerful applications and multiple tabs without the need to constantly recharge.
The device has a premium, immersive and alluring design. SPARK 5’s 6.6-inch dot in display screen is massive and is very elegant. With an industry leading 90.2% perfect screen ratio and a screen resolution of 720*1600 HD, users will have an immersive display that will transform their experience.
With dark mode, the phone also gives users more battery time and decreased blue light emission, reducing eye strain. The finishing, the material and the device’s sparkly gives it a unique and elegant look.
In all honesty, this sounds too good to be true, but it is in fact true. Spark 5 Series is everything a smartphone lover wishes for on a very convenient budget.
Horlayhemy: Even with their low performance mediatek processor which makes Tecno a no no for me, I still respect the brand for checkmating Nokia with whatever their quality, by making pocket friendly phones for all. Nokia suffer for Tecno hand I beg.
temiregiddy: You won’t mind using easy pay or selling your camon 12 like one of my Frnd sold he’s Samsung galaxy 10 to get this device, when you know that this devices gives value for money. This is like having the best tech device in your pocket man. Think.
iamgprince: Hey guys, i want to get a budget phone for my lil bro as a birthday gift (itel a56 precisely) so i want to know how good the phone is and the price too
it all depends on your budget. I'll recommend you buy a Tecno product or related brand instead
What you said is true. And that is why most persons pushing this campaign http://twitter.com/zesushv are here. So an average Nigerian knows their options and what they are paying for. Give THE STANDARD ORGANIZATION OF NAIRALAND 2more years sir. That your narrative will change if Transission doesn't change.
