Have I used clomid befo?.... Mmmm... I see my circle every month... But some great mamas here...mirob n fumidable fummi ( God go bless dem two Wella) advised I use opk... Lol... I did... Turns out I dnt ovulate at all...or regularly rada ... Cos all d circles I tested with opk were negative tru out... Yet I menstruated...

So I read dis ttc thread frm beginning to end... Again! Lots of people used clomid more... It worked for some... It didn't for others... lezotrole on d other hand... Worked too... But d side effects were bearable...( I fear medicine side effect pass winch, took one malaria injection one time so... My tongue come dey swell, big, pass my mouth, all my body itched including d soles of my feet)

So I opted to buy lezotrole... It's four grand for a card...will get it wen I map out my plans.. but I know God will come tru for us all

No side effects just that my period delayed for a day..
I noticed that I normally have spotting sometimes five days before my period but this cycle I did not spot at all for the first time in over 7yrs atleast.

Secondly like I said I have a very regular cycle which is a 28days cycle and it's always on time and I have never missed. So i believe i ovulate for me to keep having my period regularly.
It's my first use of clomid, can I switch to femara in this second one? Hope I won't have any complications with the switch?

Oh dear... Am sorry ma'am...ur very Rong u know...not saying I know too much...but here is smtin am absolutely sure about. Ovulation has natin to do with period. Period comes wen d lining of the womb dat has thickened, in preparation for implantation, sheds off..if d eggs ( ovulation) didn't fertilitize n implant... It flows out with d lining as period... U cud google this... Seeing period regularly doesn't necessarily mean one ovulates in every circle... Again people have periods only to be told during transvaginal scan dat they didn't ovulate dat particular circle...

Dis is not to say u dont ovulate... U do... I merely suggested u use an opk to test because u said 'i guess' ... jus to b ultra sure.

About d lezotrole... Scratch dat...use d clomid ur pharmacist prescribed for u... it works too. Ur lucky u had no awful side effects...most folks ain't so lucky..

About upping d dosage...dat I have no idea about... May God help us..

Goodday everyone, pls I really need help from experience moms, doctors from the house.
So I have been having difficulty getting pregnant for over a year now and I dont know what the problem is.

We just went for a hormonal profile test and semen test and my husband's result came back ok but my FSH level was 0.239(normal fsh at follicular.stage is 3.85).

The gynaecologist advised I come for IUI and billed me over 300k.
I dont have the money and I explained to a pharmacist who prescribed Clomid for me.

I have a very regular period (28days cycle) and I also ovulate (I guess). Pls someone should advice me on what next to do.

I took clomid last month for 5days (started on cycle day 2) but I wasn't with my husband during ovulation.because he traveled and was trapped during elections.
Now I want to repeat the clomid, should I increase the dose, or maintain the 50mg or avoid the clomid?
Pls advice me

U said u used d clomid for five days.... Did u have any unbearable side effect? Wen next u are on any ovulation stimulating drugs, try to get an opk and test ursef... So ud know u actually ovulated n not 'guess'... Pls speak to ur doc Abt d femara...

Instead of clomid... Why not ask d pharmacist for another alternative like femara... Also known as lezotrole... U cud check YouTube videos... The docs all rate lezotrole over clomid... But speak to ur pharmacist or better yet a doc... God help us all

Mamas abeg make una no keep mute biko.... Whoever can interprete dis mamas result should help us asap... So d rest of us about to undertake d same test can be enlightened

In my little experience, I believe cold water (chilled) and cough don't agree, and dry throat most of the time leads to cough, it's just temporarily until she feels better......it's whats been working for me though.

Oh .. I see... I get it now....my bad... I tot u meant cold water shudnt be taken in early pregnancy...

Hi mama I'm sure theirs no cause for alarm as pregnancy comes with different packages and for the dry throat, that was one of my symptoms during my first trimester, stay away from cold water and give drinking hot water a try, and if you could boil ginger and garlic sieve the water and drink while it's hot, you should feel better after a while. I hope this helps.

So I decided to try preseed and lezotrole dis circle.... Heard a lotta reviews about dem...I went to d pharmacy, lezotrole is four grand while preseed is thirteen grand! Oluwa o!... I come freeze like statue.... It was eight grand early last year... How come? Ttc no go kill person biko... Who knows a cheaper alternative to presseed.... Can't get it for thirteen grand even if I get d mulla... E too cost.

You mean to stimulate in preparation for the next cycle, right? Because I don't think you can stimulate and still get results when you should have ovulated already. I think two of the most popular drugs for stimulation are Clomid and Letrozole. I don't know much about the first because I have a history of cysts, and I heard Clomid can worsen it. So I asked for something milder. Doctor recommended Letrozole but it's usually taken early in the cycle beginning from Day 2. Just my two cents.

Again... U shud no dat pending on d circle day u went for dis test, fluid in d pouch Douglas cud also mean... U ovulated...infection.... So d best way to tackle dis is so a hvs n msc as already suggest..

1) you've got fibriod... I no see size... So I can't say if it's small or big... N were it's located... But I dnt think it shud impede ttc

2)pid...now dis can utmostly impede ttc... Gud thing is it's easily curable... N does drugs prescribed shud suffice... Although me think it's mild for pid sorta...

3) after taking those drugs... If uve got money u can redo d hvs n urine msc...jus to b sure d pid is totally eradicated...

U shud no pid causes blocked tubes...so u cud do a test to check ur tubes or a cheaper alternative...google how to unblock tubes with castor oil n supplements... Abeg tackle dat pid like simultaneous equation...him wahala no be here...

All in all u will turn out fine... If till dissatisfied take d result n see a pro gyna.

After getting negatives on an opk...what does one do... Get an ovulation stimulating drug? If yes... Which do u recommend pls
