Romance › Re: What Is One Thing You Regret Doing This Year? by Ekabobo: 6:50am On Dec 02, 2023
Offpoint1:
I regret nothings, but from next year... I will give less. 95% of my incomes this year went into giving.

I hate the fact that once you give to a Nigerian, they have 98% possibilities of coming to back to ask again when they're in need.

I love giving but hate when people abused it.
Once I see message from someone that last messaged me 3 months ago, I know what's up already.

And lastly, next year I'm NEVER lending anyone money. Most Nigerian "Next week" is eternity.

If you want me to lend you N10, I'm giving you N7.

My prayer be sey make God bless everyone, make everyone gallant. Nobody wan beg but life happens...
Dis is me too.... I no even too too get ... Small work wey I jus get... I come dey go give give... One relative I gave ten grand to after she jus put to birth.... Get mind talk say d money wey I give am too small.... This hurt me like natin av Neva known.....Av learnt.... Next year I'd be as stingy as hell

My very close friend bought his child clothes instead of buying us alcohol. I feel betrayed. How could you choose someone you just knew over someone you've known all your life?
He obviously doesn't value the friendship. I'm out.

Health › Re: How Pediatric Speech Therapy Can Improve Your Child's Quality Of Life by Ekabobo: 6:21pm On Aug 26, 2023
danielhamphery:
Pediatric speech therapy is a type of therapy that is designed to help children overcome speech and language difficulties. It involves working with a speech-language pathologist (SLP) who specializes in diagnosing and treating communication disorders in children. Speech therapy can have a significant impact on a child's life, improving their ability to communicate and interact with others. In this article, we will explore what pediatric speech therapy is and its benefits.

What is Pediatric Speech Therapy?
Pediatric speech therapy is a type of therapy that focuses on the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of communication disorders in children. These disorders may include difficulties with speech, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing. The goal of pediatric speech therapy in Cleveland is to help children improve their communication skills, build self-confidence, and enhance their overall quality of life.

The Benefits of Pediatric Speech Therapy
Pediatric speech therapy can provide numerous benefits to children who are experiencing communication disorders. Here are some of the primary benefits:

Improved Communication Skills
Pediatric speech therapy can help children develop improved communication skills. This includes developing clearer speech, expanding their vocabulary, and learning to use language to express their thoughts and ideas. With improved communication skills, children can better interact with others and build stronger relationships.

Better Academic Performance
Speech and language skills are critical for academic success. Children who struggle with communication may also struggle with reading, writing, and comprehension. Pediatric speech therapy can help children improve their language skills, leading to better academic performance and overall success in school.

Increased Confidence
Children who struggle with communication may feel frustrated, embarrassed, or anxious in social situations. By working with a speech-language pathologist, children can develop the skills they need to communicate effectively, which can boost their confidence and self-esteem.

Improved Swallowing and Feeding
Some children may struggle with swallowing and feeding, which can be a serious health concern. Pediatric speech therapy can help these children learn how to swallow safely and effectively, reducing the risk of choking and other complications.

Better Overall Quality of Life
Pediatric speech therapy can have a significant impact on a child's overall quality of life. By improving their communication skills, children can more effectively express themselves, build stronger relationships, and participate more fully in their daily activities.

How Pediatric Speech Therapy Works
Pediatric speech therapy begins with an evaluation by a speech-language pathologist. The SLP will assess the child's communication skills, identify any areas of difficulty, and develop a personalized treatment plan. Treatment may involve a variety of techniques, including speech exercises, language activities, and play-based interventions.

Pediatric speech therapy may also involve working with the child's family and caregivers to provide support and guidance. Parents and caregivers may be provided with strategies and tools to help support their child's communication development at home and in the community.

Conclusion: The Value of Pediatric Speech Therapy
In conclusion, pediatric speech therapy is a valuable resource for children who are experiencing communication disorders. By working with a skilled speech-language pathologist, children can improve their communication skills, build confidence, and enhance their overall quality of life. The benefits of pediatric speech therapy extend beyond the child to their family and caregivers, who are provided with support and strategies to help their child succeed.

Story time!!!

While typing this last year, I never knew I was already 6 weeks gone with a set of twins but unfortunately, I lost the pregnancy on the 31st of August, 2022.

God in His infinite mercies made a way again in October 2022 and I am happy to say that by the grace of God, I am now a mother to a very handsome baby boy. Gave birth on the 26th of July, 2023.

God never fails and I believe that at the appointed time, He will answer everyone. Hold on, keep your hopes high, have faith and believe in God.
Lol... Small world... I remember you... U typed that for me wen I complained I was preggy last year but symptoms were fading off... All the mamas in pregnancy section... Said it's normal in some preggy... Guess they were jus giving me ope Sha... Only you told me d bitter truth.... Loss of symptoms almost never ends well in pregnancy... But I got preggy again this year.... D same loss of symptoms.... Lost the preggy again in may...lol

So now you say and I quote:
" God never fails and I believe that at the appointed time, He will answer everyone. Hold on, keep your hopes high, have faith and believe in God"

I jus dey 'lol'.....'lol..... 'lol'

Congrats mammy... May God bless u n you Son... May laughter never ceases again from your household.... May that special child... Bring u joy, n more joy...and more joy...tank God for u.... It ended in praise!

You are so cheeky, you have no right to speak to that lady in that manner. It seems that most people here love to wind her up and when she bites back they act like she's the aggressor.

This thread is for home cooked meals and not for rude criticism, you muppet. If you want to give her some advice, you can do it in a more polite and sensible way without sounding so insulting. Don't be such a tosser and show some respect!
Funnily... I always look forward to her cooking... She makes regular, average/affordable family meals I can pretty much understand n relate with...
