Hi Mamas! I've been trawling through this thread for the last few weeks and it has been both revealing and scary.

I got married in 2019 and found out I had Grave's disease (Hyperthyroidism) few months before my wedding. DH and I decided to wait for the Grave's to go into remission before we started TTC. After months of drug therapy and finally becoming euthyroid, we started TTC in July 2021. After some months with no success, We did tests and found out I was not ovulating and I had endometriomas in both my ovaries. 8 cycles of Ovulation Induction with no success we've decided to go the IVF route. Based on comments on this thread, we decided to go with PF Medical and we're happy with our choice.

We've done the preliminary tests; Viral markers, SIS and AMH and everything is a go. The doctor says we will be using an antagonist protocol because my AMH is very high and I have high risk for OHSS. We shall be commencing the process once I get my next period.

I'm adding to this thread because I feel like it will be nice to have a support system while undergoing this journey; especially surviving the 2WW. I'll have questions and will be hoping for your kind responses.

So my baby bros got robbed while doing his bolt Hussle last night at calabar... Small boy wey jus start life ,dey Hussle only for dis to happen to him, I feel awful and sad...

He got d usual notification requesting a bolt car around 6pm.. He accepted and went for pick up... He saw two guys... Carried them, one at d passenger seat, one behind...a little while later, d one behind ( who had seem seriously ill from d beginning of d ride) said he needed to puke asap...d one in front pleaded with my bros to stop so his friend cud vomit outside n not mess up his car...meanwhile d one behind was almost retching up to vomit... My brother immediately stopped his car...and d guy flew out n started puking...he got distracted staring at d dude puking only to feel a nudge by his side... Na so bros turn to check wetin dey shook am for him side... And saw a gun held by d one in d passenger side... The puking guy had come up to his left side... They told him not to shout... Asked for all the cash he made... Took all the cash.. his two phones...ATMs... Ipods... Watches...Took their time and searched d car properly and took everything thing they cud find. A bikeman was waiting for them in front, by a little foot track., They mounted d bike and voomed off. I feel really terrible about this...

Those guys... For causing this measure of heartbreak to a young guy trying to figure out life...may they get what's coming for them... Sooner than later... This country sucks man!

My sis in law... Mixed funbacta and familia cream for her daughter.... Am sure u added some other undisclosed items as well... But she told me funcbat a and familia cream wen I commended her baby's glowing skin... Truthfully d baby was so cute... She turn chocolatey brown... Like an half-caste... Opted to mix same for my baby but my hubby... Frowned at it( my daughter is dark... Sorta... Like her dad... And he adores her dat way) anyway... Fast forward to some months... The glow the baby had initially faded... Her completion is mismatch now... Neither fair no dark...reddish brown sorta.... Dats d best way I can discribe it... Oga... Na u be man... Put ur foot down n tell her not to anymore... Particularly funcbat a.... Its adverse reaction is shattering... As much as I admire natural lightskined babies... Am glad my daughter is dark... N am more glad I never tampered with her ' blackness'...

What i would like to understand is this... instead of mashing al these banana, milk and groundnut together, can they not be eaten and taken instead? or is there something that happens when they are mashed together?

Guess it's jus d same reason most folks make smoothies out of several varieties of fruits...instead of jus chewing... Or eating em... First.... And i also like the fact that they ddnt pack a bunch of sexy looking women with thin arms beating ruthless men, which usually makes movie fight scenes look very unrealistic...

They used tough looking women that fit well into the roles of warriors, with muscles in the right place


the sprinkle of a little bit of tragedy (Izogie's death) also made the story balance...

It would have been 10/10 and more realistic if they ddnt speak english all through....

i mean, for an african region in the era of slave trade, few kings, noble officers, and a few people close to the whites could speak english well...some kings even have interpreters...

...but all of them in the movie were good english speakers even with the fake accent which ddnt depict the picture of that era

Am I d only one that has seen this movie over n over n over again?... Dopest movie av seen in decades... Who's seen it repeatedly?

A whole year of trying,using drugs,HSG,flushing tubes,yet nothing..

I forgot to ask... Are u on pregnacare con... If u are... U shud no dat for some folks... It delays period for a few days... And causes slightly swollen boobs .. n painful nips.... Den again it could early preggy.... Wishing u d best ma'am.

Do a blood test...it might be early positive... So it ain't showing on d pee stick.... Jus do a blood test.

Please I need encouragement o. Period is 7 days late today, I did test on Sunday it was negative, no specific symptoms, only cramps sometimes and nipple pain and tender breast. I'm still waiting for my period anyways. Is it possible to be pregnant without symptoms, I don't want to test again because I don't want to cry. Although sometimes my period comes late but not with nipple pain and tender breast. This journey is so lonely. I just want to have my babies too

Same thing happened last year December
Both were cases of blighted ovum(empty gestational sac)
What can be done to avoid such in the next pregnancy?
