Jobs/VacanciesRe: A New Job, But Am So Confused by ekay39(m): 5:16am On Mar 04, 2017
Sleezwizz:
I will advice you stay put in calabar.. Cost of living, transport, school fees for your kids and so on are so high here in Lagos.. Don't be surprised that that salary u are talking about might not be able to take care of ur expenses, u might be spending more.. My own opinion sha, it all depends on u..
So on point. 40% might not necessarily mean much in Lagos because of the high cost of living. School fees, accommodation, et.al no be child's play ooo.

I believe you will save more in calabar with your present salary than in Lagos.

In essence, a 40% increment is not sufficient to make such move in my opinion.
Car TalkRe: Why Nigerians Are Not Buying Innoson Cars by ekay39(m): 3:05am On Mar 03, 2017
Great Article Op, really interesting.
However, I think innosons approach to the Nigerian market could be a top down approach - high end customer to low end customers. The cost of doing business in Nigeria is too high and his business relies heavily on importation of parts into the country- the dollar to the naira is not helping at all.

Also, targeting low end customers would mean he would have to compete with recognized brands. This means he has to compete in terms of price, et all. And achieving operational efficiency with the present market conditions I think will not help his business

Therefore, I think it makes business sense that he targets high end customers like government that can pay a premium for his products. When the business conditions change, he would have enough funds to create an engine that could take on Toyota and Co - Remember, how these brands destroyed the American market with price for companies like Ford and co.

This is my humble opinion though. Great article again bro. Keep up the good work.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: What Do You Think Of My CV: Is There Anything To Make It Better by ekay39(m): 7:28pm On Dec 14, 2016
I like that your CV is neat. However, I think you should add flesh to the job positions held in the past. Give 2 or 3 job descriptions and then add one or two accomplishments under each job description.

Overall, its a very good attempt
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Do You Think This CV Ok For A New Graduate by ekay39(m): 9:36am On Nov 12, 2016
Naaseer01:
hello guys, help me check out this CV I made by my self. do you think its OK for a fresh graduate?? is there any correction that I can rectify??
I think this Resume is very good for a fresh graduate. You almost made a first class and that alone will pique the curiosity of any employer- please keep the 4.44 Cgpa. However, I think you should put the summary in bullet points so it is easier to read.

Overall, you did a great job.

I have a question to ask though.

In a bid for the FG to meet demands for the dollar, can the FG print enough Naira and then exchange it for the dollar on other Markets.

Christianity EtcRe: God And Medicine: Which Is More Reliable And Why? by ekay39(m): 1:41pm On Jul 05, 2015
My humble opinion:

As christians, everybody is dealt with "the measure of faith" (as written in galatians). If you have been able to build your measure of faith to receive direct healing( through prayers, confessions and all) from GOD, no problems. If your own measure of faith is to use drugs, and you see GOD using those drugs to heal you, no problems too. I believe we are in a faith dispensation.

Don't forget, before david could face goliath he had already killed the bear and the lion. So when he faced goliath, he was able to draw strength from those experiences to defeat goliath. In essence, if your measure of faith now is to fight bear and lions, do it. There would come a time where u will be able to draw strength from those experiences and kill goliath. I don't want to write to a long post.

Just my humble opinion

Point taken. Thank you sir but what I need now is a job and not talks like this. Only a sound Christian will know that portion of Daniel you are quoting when you dont even know my religion. Pls feel the man b4 advising the man. All the same, thanks
My advice for you to learn a new skill. Pick up a new application nd learn. For example, this is 2nd time in the space of 4days I'm seeing a vacancy for wordpress developers. If u are computer savvy as u claim, u can chew wordpress in 3days. Wordpress is as easy as eating rice. Sacrifice, go to youtube and download, learn it and have it in your repertoire of skills. For e.g It has taken 3days to learn wordpress and I am already deploying e-commerce solutions. I hope u find my advise useful, GOD bless our hussle ooo
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Choosing Between A Job And NYSC Service by ekay39(m): 7:39am On Jun 27, 2015

Thanks y'all for your honest n concerned advice . One. More thing- if I differ, is there a possibility of getting Lagos state and hope I don't have to go for orientation camp again( cos that's like taking 3 weeks off again )
Has Anyone heard of aNy differed case after orientation camp ?
You are a guy. What I think you should do is to go back to kebbi state and find a way to meet with the relevant persons- my best bet would be your LI or school principal- and negotiate with them, even if u have give them your whole allawee. When u get there, first speak with your CDS-Coordinator or older corps members and explain to them your situation. They are in the best position to guide you since they are on ground. Importantly, they would give you an idea of their personalities. But let me give you a peek: If its your zonal LI, he/she would always keep you updated with happenings on ground and interactions would be direct. If its your school principal, its going to be a little harder but there's always a way around it. You have to be best friends with your CDs-Coord because he/she has to find a way with attendance for CDS and rest.

At the expense of writing a long post, all I am saying is you have to go back to your PPA in keebi and find out things yourself. NB I'm sure you are not the first person who would have done it and you won't be the last.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Choosing Between A Job And NYSC Service by ekay39(m): 9:39pm On Jun 26, 2015
What a very rare opportunity; only very few have such. My advise: take the job and find a way to redeploy back to lagos, even if u have to defer for this batch. Competition is very fierce for entry level jobs and only the strong, mighty, fittest coupled with GODs grace survive. But if u think u have the wits, intelligence, and patience to compete with other 10 million job seekers for entry level jobs, be my guest. Getting the first job is always the major hurdle. After that its much easier to switch jobs and make career progression. Again I repeat, this is a very rare opportunity don't joke with it
