Mine was during service year in Edo State.

It was a rainy day. Got stuck in Benin and was traveling to Afuze. After the rain stopped, the road was flooded and had to wade in through the water to one popular park (Ramat park or something) to take a bus to Auchi onward Afuze. The bus got filled around 9pm.

Reached Auchi around 12am midnight and I didn't know a single soul. Where will I sleep? One co-traveler, a student, notice my dilemma and offered me his place around an area called Water Board. We trekked for about 30 mins to reach his hostel. On entering his room we met many people there smoking confirmed weed and drinking hard drinks. Cultists probably.

They left for God know where around 1am.

Was offered a bed to sleep but who wan sleep inside a smoke-filled room? Was just praying the police wouldnt choose that night to raid that hostel.

eeh yah,u should have used owan east at mission road,it's direct to afz,even on a busy day,dat park at Ramat going to AUCHI takes about two to three hours to load just one trip, fastest to AUCHI is afenmai at first Junction...

Are you part of the program for you to know it adds nothing to the economy,in my PPA,they have only 2 permanent teachers(principal and v.p) we n-power are the ones doing all the jobs of main teachers,we go to work everyday and even get queried when you don't come for a day,we set and Mark exam scripts, prepare dossiers and broad sheets, share results etc
I am even the secretary to my principal,I go to the state capital to submit monthly returns and photocopies of time book at ministry of education. I spend 350 to and from work daily for 5days,I was taking 3subjects at a time from ss1 to 3 untill other batch B's came,I don't get paid any extra money,we currently have over a thousand students due to closure of ice in the state. so please don't generalize on something you know nothing about. we just rounded up exams before the Nationwide shutdown, results are yet to be compiled,ss3 are yet to write their ssce,how will they cope without tutoring before then? not everyone in Nigeria is not showing up at their PPA'S, some persons in same state with me got posted to different lga from ours and they spend over 4k weekly to and from PPA'S, stipend are paid third week of another month, sometimes 2 to 3months after most of the volunteers with families have incurred debts,tell me how can one save from such meagre amount that comes once in 6 to 7 weeks or 2 to 3months. if you have someone in your family or around you not going to PPA and eating free money, speak about them and never generalize. let's be civil with our ways of thinking.
NB: Graduates who are working are not good for employment but militants and unrepentant boko harams are paid monthly for doing nothing,can you see how senseful you are.

I have often wondered which of both batches was well dedicated in their places of primary assignment, as for me I would pick NPower Batch A.
Please share your opinion

Batch B were more dedicated because they were closely monitored.
In my PPA,at a time I was taking 3subjects ss1 to ss3 because school has only 2main teachers(principal and vp) aside being secretary to principal,only few batch A's were showing up once in a while,I thought we were the only ones available till news got to the king of the town about the activities because it's a community school named after him and he almost wrote to the board in the capital and principal had to call them to order before they showed up,yet till date,I still haven't met most of them. we fill and submit monthly returns and photocopies of time book monthly to the board unfailingly.
I know persons in batch A who has never smelled their PPA'S and were always first to receive alert when payment starts.
