Bsc honours simply means the person finished in exactly 4 years if it is a 4 years course, for the B.Tech, degree is degree. If you are given Bsc in Accounting, is accounting a science course

Hello Nairalanders, am a polytechnic student of Accoutancy, hoping to switch to a University after my ND and would like to clarify certain issues:

1. Whats the difference between general Bsc and BSc (Hons); does one carry more weight than another?

2. What is the difference between BSc and BTech?
My school is about to be converted to a University of Technology, which means I can proceed to graduate with B.Tech. But am an accounting student - does having a B.Tech Accounting make any sense (since its not a technology course).

Helping to clarify these problems is highly appreciated.

Hello,
It is advisable to write it after your ND. if your school is accredited, then you will only write ATS 3. If not you will start from ATS 2. Once you have your AAT certificate, you will start from skill level in professional just like Bsc accounting graduates. You can see you have a better advantage

hello isobayor, am an ND ACCOUTANCY student, am interested in going for ATS; but couldn't due to financial constraints. Is it possible for me to do it after my ND? And after induction, can I proceed for the professional exams even without a degree?

7. Reduce the interest rate of their campaign housing scheme(10,000) mortgage scheme.

I just saw the headline on NTA Newsline now, that the Minister of Petroleum Resources Diezani Alison - Madueke has announced a reduction in the pump price of petrol from N97 to N87.

Petroleum Products Pricing Agency (PPPRA) have been directed to effect the price change.

Although the difference isn't much, but it sure will help those who buy in large quantity.
