With measuring tape o, at least das the one i know my doctor uses. The belly should measure about the same as the no of weeks you are, so when it measures smaller, a scan may be done to ensure that all is fine in there.

Let me rant jare

Went for antenatal today, doctor measured my tummy and said it measuring 30wks instead of 34weeks i have to do scan to confirm everything is okay but he told me to wait till the week of my nxt antenatal (2 weeks time) , i am just praying everything goes well.
As if that is not enough went to lagos to baby shop, the rain just decided not to stop. It was such an hectic day but i am happy that i have done 90% of my shopping

Dont worry your head too much about that measurement of a thing. It happened to me twice and the results came out fine. But why did he ask u to do the scan in 2 weeks and not now? Is it not even better to rule out any issues early enough? I would do a scan immediately if it was me sha oo. Anyways, just put ur mind at rest, All will be well.

Momma luv this your bump oh. Very moderate just like mine and i was seriously contemplating complaining to doc about the size but yours has reassured me. I'm 31weeks and feel my bump is small. In fact told the doc last time that baby doesn't kick as such though I feel movement regularly. Dyu think it's connected to bump size; wats your own experience?

Naaa i dont think it has to do with the size, moreover baby movements can be in kicks, flutters or rolls. I didnt get so much kicks from my lo but other kinds of movement which is also fine. And Damisinto also mentioned that baby movts also has to do with the position of the placenta but i never really asked about that. Dont worry urself too much as long as u feel lo move. Enjoy your cute bump too .
P.s the size of my bump was the least of my worries sef. At my last anc doctor had me do a scan cuz he said my belly measured a lil smaller but the result came out fine and lo measured 3.4, amniotic fluid was also ok.

My bump can still hide for Africa. I went to a family function over the weekend and one aunt like that called me to a corner and was advising me on what drugs to take for quick conception. I thank am waka go my way.

Me wey intentionally select cloth wey go hide the bump well well. Though it is the kind of bump that can be hidden sha, some bump no respect you and your hiding o.

Anyway, I had to get in a reclining position to show my bump well, hence picture 2.
I have zero waist! Instead of shooting out bump, na round body bump we get.

My sister ,it wasn't easy oo. Na real journey . In the morning ,I usually spend almost 4hrs to get to work and will have a stop over at Allen except Mondays when I join dh (he doesn't come everyday,he works after Ajah).

It will be 2weeks I started my leave officially by tomorrow and just slight contraction I have been having . We will be 40wks by 5th July.
I couldn't cope with the work stress . I work in VI and live at Alakuko -sango area. So it was kind of risky for me .
I might just take one month without pay to bond well.with my baby .

Whoooooah Alakuko to VI, how do you even do that? U really needed that 2 weeks leave cuz that is one helluva journey. Lo should do and come out oo mummy needs that mat leave. My own leave officially commences when i give birth sha, asper Govt work tins na, my prayer is that lo comes next week sha so they wont notice my absence for long.

Its just 3months o. It's not even 10am and I am bored silly. I'm thinking I would go to work tomorrow and sign on again for the next two weeks because mba, I can't stay at home like this till whenever I.

Hehehe pele oo. I plan on starting mine next week cuz i cant even stand d boredom of sitting home all day, moreover i still feel strong. Plus dh has talked tirelessly about me staying home from this week cuz i work in Ikoyi and live in Opic, make labour no catch me for Third Mainland Bridge lol but ano gree. 38weeks by Wednesday and i pray lo comes out after this week.

@lululuv, this your BS totori my heart this morning oo. We declared that we are for sharp sharp deliveries and God sealed it. I claim even a faster one for the rest of us. Amen

my sister no time for stories oooo... before this pregnancy my mother in law was always calling me a dry stick that can not produce... each time she wants to refer to me she calls herself a dry stick... so u see no time for stories aslong as this pregnancy is concerned...
