so i was taken to the labour room and given pitocin.I was asked to lie on my left see pain ewo.I was like that till 4hour later I was checked again and was 6cm.I was just praying the doc came back 4hours later and I was still 6cm. he said I am not progressing despite giving me two pitocin drip. he said he would have to remove the baby through cs before the baby gets distressed. meanwhile the baby was no longer cephalic he had turned so it was difficult for him to engage into the birth canal.he called his colleague who came and broke my water. then the pain just intensified. I almost cried.after an hour, the doctor came and said I have to be wheeled to the theatre to save me and my baby.I just stood up and started following him to the theatre.I was giving spinal kiniko(dunno how to spell it) then they tore me and I heard my baby cry immediately.I was just thanking God I couldn't belive it.I just turned my head to watch my baby cleaned while the sewed me up.he was taken to my husband outside and I was carried out of the theatre . baby was given Nan.I was shivering cos of the injections(so they said)./baby weighed 4kg. thank God for his mercies. cappo Phlakkeys wehdone ma.

Thanx mama for the response. The weight is what is even bothering me. The result shows 24.7g I don't know what that means. No I haven't seen my doctor till my next appointment next week.i am really worried.

You mean 2.47g? I think thats rather small for a 37 week old baby hence the reason u measure 34 weeks. But u know these scans arent always accurate. I think u should see ur doctor he may recommend another scan or profer a solution. Till then, keep praying and be calm. All will be well

Back to d point, EDD is 26th and I just felt I should start mat leave, as hubby no dey d same statr with me, he came around to come pick me on tuesday to his place, got home safely, arranged babies room but couldnt pack hospital bag ad I taught time still dey. Little did I know what awaits me. That night we were weak and I told hubby oya ooooo lets do that thing as he don tey. He said he is too tired as he drived to fro and still did house chores. I insisted oo and I took over (on top of him).
Chai, if I had known 30 minutes later cramping started painful one ooo woke hubby he said he warned me o and slept back. I was awake all through grunting he go just use one eye look me and say pele na stress.

Around 3am it was unbearable so he woke to check google what d cause is and he said but no blood and fluid so hold on it will go. I jejely face my lane.

Early momo I packed few hospital things and told him d time is now na so we drive down and they confirmed its contractions. Hmmmm was happy thats d journey will b over soon little did I know everyone's package is different. OLUWAOLORUN ALAGBARA OOOO haa my sisters 27 hours labour ni oooo (started counting from house o) deliverd 3am since tuesday night haaaaaaaa mofekuuu. My doctors nurses were tired they tried tried inducement et al nothing ooo na so so cry shout. Naso I remember village people but was praying all through, hubby turned pastor. Ordinarily men are not allowed but my husband was given preference to stay in labour room throughout cos it was something else. I started begging for cs at a point but financial capacity wasnt there.

Haa my people NEVER will I try this...ELECTIVE CS Na him b way. If only u know what I went through.

But in all nko my prince charming came out weighing 3.0 no tears at 38 weeks

This is not my first time o just that I lost the first last year july at 7 months was not as painful as this. God of restoration did a living one same July

On the 6th of July, been my dhs birthday, I decided to give him an early birthday present with jigijigi with his preferred style (reversed cow girl-i am never going to try that
during pregnancy eva again),fast forward to 30mins later after the jigijigi, I started having contractions, frequent but painless so I thought it was bh contractions and I ignored it since I was only 38wks+ and I actually had my first at exactly 40wks. That same day been my antenatal, the doctor decided to check me Cus I told him I was contracting, Lo and behold, he said I was at 4cm and I should send for my hospital bag that he was going to admit me(that was around 11am),I told him okay and left the hospital with Dh,i dropped my dd at home with her nanny and my sister, so Dh and I started walking, we trekked for almost 2hrs and I also did my squats too, around 5pm, we decided to go bk to the hospital, I was at 6cm when I was checked but the contractions were really irregular with mild pain, and the sack was still intact too, I was admitted and was told to lie on my left for faster delivery, then I was given the almighty oxytocin but I wasn't really feeling much pain(God really answered my prayers) as I was gisting with Dh and the nurse, fast-forward to something around 8/to 9pm,the doc came and said I was at 7cm and my membrane was ruptured, that was when the contractions with pains started coming in waves but it was really bearable probably because Dh was with me encouraging me and massaging my back when the contractions came, around 10pm I started having the urge to pee and poo at the same time, I jumped off from the bed and I peed on the floor, then I refused to go back to the bed, the matron was begging me to please lie on the bed and not push while standing and that I might have plenty tear if I push anyhow, I told her to get her hands off me that is it her bombom that will tear? Dh too was begging me, and I answered him with a stare of life, then he left(he actually told him he has never cin that deadly stare before that he got scared and had to leave).
I was forced to the bed,then asked to push when the contractions comes, after like 4pushes with poo of life, my princess came out crying her lungs out, I was stitched because she gave me a little tear. I want you all to please help me bless and thank God on my behalf as the whole pregnancy and labour was hitch free, no Ms, no complaints ,fasted through out Ramadaan, And healing has been great too. The only thing left now is how I can control my dd, cus she thinks her sister is a teddy that she can touch and poke anyhow.

sebi na me dey cry since say baby no wan come, baby no wan come. I decided to use trekking and force am out, na im I go type my c.v. make I go submit for one school wey I make enquiries for my kids yesterday. No dulling ooo.

I carry my two left leg with my elephant belly at 40 + 5 days dey waka jejely and slowly with plenty of iya beji sorry oo wey full the air.

After submitting, I went to carry the laptop I dropped at the business centre wey I print the C.V. As I stand there dey collect the laptop from the woman hand wetin I hear na kakararam, the plank I was standing on broke na so I enter gutter, one leg in, one leg outside. My skirt tore into two from the parting to my bum

luckily for me, as I was falling, I used the hand wey carry laptop push my tummy from the edge of by the deep gutter and saved my stomach.

people now rushed and pulled me out. my heart was racing like never before, come scrape my leg finish. na so I hold my chest like say the chest wan fall out and they dragged me to a chair.

I sat there for long oo before I could get myself again and began to look for pin to pin my skirt and go home.

I am lying down now and contemplating wether I should go to hospital or wait till my antenatal tommorow. my whole body aches and I still feel a bit shaky.

BS! BS!! BS!!
So Thursday 6th of July, woke up feeling normal. Went to work in the heavy rain. However, I noticed my LO's movement was very light. More like flicks and flutters. I can fairly predict her movements as I have been keeping count with Kickcounter App since 25weeks so the App has given me a fairly accurate description of her movements which works. However on that day, the whole thing was just somehow. Hours on end without movements and when she would move, it was so light that i could have missed it if I was not paying attention.

So I closed from the office and was contemplating going to the hospital as the next day was my ANC but I decided to go. Got there and saw the doctor at emergency and told him. He said it's normal for baby's not to move regularly in late trimester but just to put my heart at rest, he would check. My sister's, that's was where the devil lost the battle. Doctor checked with that their horn thing and the Doppler. Nothing. He did not find any heartbeat. He was trying to assure me that everything was fine but I could see he wasn t so sure. He called one of his colleagues and that one asked us to come upstairs. By this time, I called my hubby to start coming. The second doctor checked, nothing. Two senior matron checked, nothing. They dragged the scan machine upstairs and checked. My people, no heartbeat was found. The scan machine did not pick my jewel' s heartbeat. See me, I was crying like a baby. One of the matron told me to start praying and declare that i can't come this far to go back empty handed. I just started saying there shall be no loss over and over again. I don't even know what to pray. Then one of the doctors suggested (I'm Yoruba) that they should go in on me but the other one said he wont because he thinks it's an IUD (intra uterine death) but that instead they should give me something to push out the baby. The other matron then responded God forbid (God bless her soul) and she started saying this woman will have her baby. They were saying all these in Yoruba but I understood perfectly. By then i and my husband were a bumbling mess. The doctors then called their CMD. He had already gone home but they told him its an emergency and he came. This was 3hours later. No heartbeat found for 3hours. The CMD then came and checked again with the Doppler and the scan machine. He checked for over 15mins and he was just sighing and sighing. As he was about to turn off the machine, he saw something flicker on the screen and then he started to count it but it was so irregular. He said madam, I have to go in on you now. I don't like the count of your baby's heartbeat. If we havent been able to find it for four hours, I wouldn't want to wait any longer. I just said please do what you have to do. Just save my baby and that was how I entered the theatre. After she was brought out, they had to run series of tests to make sure she was really fine and Monday while we were being discharged, the CMD told us that if any of his colleagues had told him that they delivered a healthy baby that had no heartbeat for four hours, he would have thought they were exaggerating and just said we should thank our God.

My dears, whatever stage your pregnancy is, if you feel something isn't right, it probably is or isn't but don't joke with it. Have it checked out. The hours between 6-10pm of 6th July is not what I would wish on anyone. I could have given my heart and left breast just to be told all was fine. In all, I'm just grateful my baby is here, sound and healthy.

Thank Jesus for this great testimony. Indeed nothing should be taken for granted and i appreciate that u mentioned me in this post. What is 15k compared to the life of a whole being inside of me? Thank you soo much for reminding me that money is just a material thing and should be treated as such.

But no need regretting your chosen hospital. Things we do for baby, it gets worse after the baby comes cuz they would always want to run every test possible and you would keep thinking 'what if I refuse and they turn out to be right'. I'd have done the same thing in your shoes, [s]or my Ijebu arse would have just drank Fanta so that baby would start to dance acrobatics or I'd use my HMO hospital for just a quick scan before I decide if there's a need to tell hubby[/s]. Either way, good to know baby is doing fine, that's all that matters.

Please mama's this is a desperate cry for help . My breast milk is flowing and staining my dress set but my baby is not latching. One of the nurses said i have inverted nipples. Hello mamas, happy sunny day oo. How are we and los? God keep them for us.
So I WANT TO RANT
Yesterday my lo had a quiet kinda day, i felt movements a few times but not the jacking type(read thats normal cuz there aint enuf space). All tru the night i kept rolling and turning hoping that lo will move more (at least if he was asleep all day he should be awake at night) but noo, i think i felt him move just twice.
So this morning i told dh about it and asked that we should go to the hospital just to rule out any issues. He agreed and we got there around 11/11.30.
We didnt meet gynae but a young doctor who checked for heartbeat after pressing hard on my tummy for a while, she picked heartbeat and said ehnn she has to get a second opinion from the gynae so i should wait while she gets across to him.
P.S While on the way to the hospital, i was feeling lo move oo but i just insisted that we got there.
So after a while sha sisi doctor called us and said we will do Obstetric USS Scan (not sure i got it right) and CTG scan after which she will admit me so i can take counts of lo's movt under their watch. I said admit for what na? This baby is moving already biko let us just do scan and go.
Ok time for scan na they said i shud pay 5k for that one, we paid, scan was done and it came out fine.
Sisi doctor said we shud do d CTG scan just to be sure and not take chances since we are almost due. Time to pay na, they said 10k and i am like wetin carry me come this hospital today, i just come to spend money ni. I now told dh to ask if we really had to do it seeing that the 1st scan was already good, he went to meet her and she said it is important oo cuz i alredy complained so i have to do it bla bla bla.
We paid and i was taken to the room before they could pick heartbeat nko, they press everywhere because ehnn of baby's position bla bla, they eventually got it and placed 2 tools on my stomach(one to read los heartbeat over a 30mins period and the other to check if i was contracting).
Ok oo, 30 mins passed and they refused to remove it because they are waiting for sisi doctor to come check me and all and my back was seriously aching, i sha para dt it aff do coman remove all ur machine, my baby and i are ok.
Wheeew they removed it and i went to see sisi doctor. She said the "charts are ok and everything seems to be fine but i would have loved to admit you". I'm like nooo we are ok i dont want to stay here everything is fine and you can see it. She goes "i still need the gynae's opinion and i will give u an appointment". I go noo i cant come tomorrow pls" She sha insisted and i told her i don hear, dey aint seeing me till next anc or when lo decided to come sha. Left the hospital at Past 4.
The tin paining d most is the 15k i spent oo, i should have just known that my baby was chilling and nothing more ooo. And the hospital now wanto admit me ontop of what
I should have just stuck with my HMO hospital but dh doesnt like the hospital shey i would just be paying shikini money now
Mamas plss someone should just tell me sorry cuz i need it now.
In all i thank God that we are fine.

I guess it depends on what u r bin given by ur doc.
I get 14tabs for two weeks. That's once daily and my PCV is 43 at my last check. So guess no need for double.

Yeah it does. Not like i use it dilligently sef, i always have extra for dh to use after every week. Last i checked my PCV, i didnt get the exact figure but i'm sure it was fine cuz doc said so.

My doc prescribes 2 tabs daily o but since i started going for anc weekly, it changes sometimes once daily and other times twice daily. Like today now i got 2 tabs daily for the week. I guess it all balls down to what the doc says sha. But i dont think it can get too much or can it?

To the glory of God , I welcome my Prince Charming at 40 +1 weeks on Thursday 6th July @about 10.35pm through VD with small perineum episiotomy (about 2 stitches) weighing 5.04kg as against estimated weight of 3.7kg from scan as at last Friday.

I bless the name of God for this beautiful testimony and this shall go round for the remaining waddling mothers in Jesus name .
