African blacks will get pretty good at sports as time progresses. Really, when you compete against the USA at basketball, you aren't competing against the entire population of 300 million people. But essentially just against the 10% of that population (30 million or so) who are black. And you have to figure that eventually, 160 million Nigerians will be able to beat 30 or 40 million Americans... |

Not to mention that Mike Miller for example has a bad back and can barely move...Kirk Hinrich sucks, Dunleavy is really old and has a bad back. Nigeria is good enough to be competitive against a bunch of old white American NBA guys who are very slow and have bad backs |

Love gets great stats, but his team never wins. Timberwolves last made the playoffs in 2005? Plus FIBA rules are different from the NBA It isn't like he has impressed very much this Olympics.. Nigeria can be competitive against that white team you mentioned. We wouldn't give up as many 3s for example...the white team wouldn't score as much in fast breaks |

That white team doesn't beat Nigeria. Most other countries have trouble with USA's guards and wings. Kevin Love and David Lee won't scare anybody...they'll be shut down |
