I want about 650k monthly working in a bank. I work in the risk directorate and it's exciting too. However, I got this mail from FiRS to come for induction.
Is the FiRS worth it?

FIRS GT makes about 500k basic, by the time you factor in the allowances, it should surpass your 650k monthly in the bank... assuming there's no allowance attached to the bank job. Why haven't you resigned before accepting FIRS offer though? I hope you don't run into problems later when FIRS embarks on their verification exercise as regards certificates and probably last employer.

They have started given the elite APLs as shown above but the shortlisting is still ongoing which will be published on news paper in due time.

I feel the pains of some people waiting for update on particular top agency. They shared letters few days ago. Someone got it on this space & was warned not to disclose the information to anyone. Confidential 100%

Alots is happening but it depend on how connected you are. If you are expecting offer from FAAN. The woman does not know how to say No to politicians.

I think Sultan8 updated you yesterday as regards that. I don't really know much. EFCC are training, something is probably happening in NMDPRA, FIRS documenting, SEC did first round test last month or so. Most of those agencies take in people regularly. Just have a strong connect.

Aside revenue, another thing to consider is staff strength. If your staff strength is in plenty in the range of thousands the chances of big emoluments is lower.
For example people like customs and FIRs generate trillions but considering their staff strength the emoluments wouldn't be much.

Now compare that to NUPRC that is probably not more than 2 thousand (2k is much sef)

True though. CBN self dey compete with FIRS in staff strength 11k+ NUPRC no fit pass 1500.

My opinion is nothing CBN is hyped (big name that when your village people hear they will bow)

I doubt CBN pays more than NMDPRA sef.

You're comparing illegal renumeration of CBN vs the legal renumeration of NUPRC.

If you want to compare, either compare officially for each or vice versa illegally.

Last last everything depends on your department in the organisation.

Imagine being in a department for negotiation of contracts with IOCs that run into billions of dollars.

There is a way to correct or advise one without being insulting or demeaning. I didn't see any of those previous replies as corrections.

Apply ke? They don't advertise. He knows how it's done. Only few advertise openly. But you can print your CV and credentials and submit alongside application letter in any of those agencies and get a signed copy as evidence of application then give him. (NUPRC should have concluded theirs sha so focus on others).

It's better you find out if any falls under his committee. If non, then just give him all options so he selects the one he can get. There are some on that list he'll be bounced if he attempts.
