CS is free from late last year in my place. My cousin paid no Kobo when she delivered at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital in Bauchi last month. Absolutely free. She even got a free baby delivery kit courtesy of the government. Una go just dey online dey do chochocho when the real needy dey dey key into policies of govt. Sannu intellectuals. If I tell you that the dialysis subsidy promised has been implemented na so una go still deny.

Maybe it's just your place because one of the listed general hospitals designated for free CS delivery charged my neighbour 300k (FG staff) for CS delivery just last month or so. The lady next to her couldn't afford to pay and she reportedly died in labour 😭😭😭. Policy announcement is one thing, policy implementation is another. God help us

Someone said CBN recruited last month. How true is that because there was no confirmation here.
Another said An individual gave out 50 appointment letters. How true guys? Are they still going to recruitment any time soon?

As at 2023, CBN salary was 400k without upfront or allowances in your first year before confirmation. After confirmation, monthly salary drops to 290k but you will start getting upfront of 3.5M and other allowances that sums up to about 8M. The first upfront after confirmation is paid twice too.

So with a staff strength of over 11000, nobody really knows what CBN pays categorically but FIRS with similar staff strength has its pay all over this thread. CBN must be doing something right or operating like CIA🤔. Never really seen what CBN pays here, just rumours. Happy good Friday guys 💪🏽

Here’s why:
In 2014 I was an entry level (Management Trainee) staff in one of the commercial banks in Nigeria, I earned 168k per month. USD was N152/$ = I earned $1,105 per month

In 2025 (11 years later) the same graduate trainee will earn N528k per month. USD is N1500/$ = you’d earn $352 per month

For clarity:
A bag of rice in 2014 was 9k, I can buy 18bags and still have change

A bag of rice in 2025 is 80k, you can only buy 6bags and have some change left

So you’ll be the judge to tell if it is good enough or not

I understand your pain, my friend. I graduated on March 13, 2015, almost ten years ago. I have applied to every agency, even the lesser-known ones, but I still haven't been successful. Recently, my friend's cousin graduated in 2023 and completed his nycs last year, around November or December. This week, he received an opportunity with the nfiu through Senator Udende Emmanuel. My advice to you is to keep praying and continue working hard. May God help us all.

My sister inlaw helped to go and submit to the state commissioner and she was told to wait that they will shortlist the names on their website.

Officer 2 is not GL 10.
Officer 2 is an entry level position. GL 10 in FIRS is an Assistant Manager.

Some people can fabricate anything they imagine and put on social media to ignite FIRS

whatever may be wrong with the letter can't be from the standpoint you are coming from. FIRS entry level starts from 10 downwards.

with this new tax bill, they are likely to struggle. Customs don dey shout too, Tetfund is also shouting. I think someone was saying NMDPRA was struggling to pay some allowances last year or so.. can't remember.. NUPRC self fit follow suit. FIRS just dey dominate everywhere. They contribute about 70% to FAAC monthly. Tax seems the new oil.

Good morning everyone, I got an appointment since January, I did documentation, and I was told I will be called for capturing, it's already two months after my documentation, I haven't seen any messages or calls from the IPPIS...the HRM kept on telling me that the account dept is working on it, that they will pay in arrears......

What should I do

Some organisations take time before being able to capture in ippis. Maybe there's queue or there are issues within the organisation to sort out. I belive you will be captured, just exercise some patience.

Slot candidates are actively doing one thing or the other for HQ. I don't know about online candidates. I think the end goal is to merge both offline and online candidates together.
