Mourinho got his tactics wrong. You don't play long and up balls with stock. Even Ibrahimovic and Fellaini were subdued, and to think we had Blind, Herrera, Mata and Mkhitaryan whike playing up balls.

SAF used Carrick, Scholes, Rooney (and even Kagawa) to force Stoke to play on the ground.

It looks like the substitutions were made when the starting attacking players were beginning to find a way to break down the defence.

Fellaini should not be a starter. Our best front remains Martial - Mkhitaryan - Ibrahimovic and one of Rashford, Rooney and Mata. Why don't we play the best players and the system that works. The rotation and the quest to satisfy every player in the squad is distorting the system.

Speaking to MUTV at the Aon Training Complex on Friday, Mourinho was full of praise for the player. "I don’t think it is a reward, I don't see it in this perspective," the boss said. "I just think he is the best right-back you can have. There is no better right-back in football. It is just for us to keep the best. I don't think it is a reward. It is a privilege for us to have such a good player and such a good man."

He was most likely promoted to ABO from ET hence his 350k salary.

The GCS grade lasts for a period of 1-2 years infact it was meant to be 2 years before one gets confirmed on that grade. The change in CEO brought about the conversion of GCS to ET within a 1 year interval provided you attain the required appraisal mark and have no disciplinary record.

You guys are the one's who enjoyed banking, when one easily got promotion.... I have lots of friend in UBA that have spent over 4 years on the GT grade.
Not exactly true.

Please speak on what you are sure of.
I just confirmed from my friend that two new grades have been created under the ET.

ET was the least grade for many years and the salary was 128k.

Lol. Sir, I worked in UBA. and what i just stated are the confirmed figures as at 2016/2017

GCS- 80K
GT- 142
ET- 160K Plus
SET- 250K
ABO-350K ..... And so on.

So argue on what you know, not what you heard! And trust me to get to executive trainee grade in UBA could take you over 4-5 years.
The GCS and GT must be newly created grades. I am a middle management staff in the banking industry and I have had course to be part of UBA. The lowest entry level for UBA as a fresh graduate was ET and the salary was 128k for many years. My friend there told me it was increased in 2014, although he he got promotion before then and was on 350k.

They said the GCS is just a temporal grade until confirmation which is 6 months.

UBA- 142k
Zenith - 120-132k

OP, I highly doubt that pay for First Bank it's less than that range is around 115-130k
You are wrong on UBA. A fresh graduate in UBA should not be less than 200k. We are talking about Executive Trainees.
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Let's Talk Entry Level Salaries by elampiro(m):
NaMe4:
Seems UBA recently upgraded? About a year ago, it was around 80k/month. Right?
Please correct your post. UBA has been 128k for fresh graduate since 2007 or earlier. That is the ET grade. It was increased by 50% in 2014. That makes it like 200k for fresh graduate.

You should be able to separate St from ETs. STs are those working with diplomas who are aspiring for conversion.

I'm sure elampiro go like this one.
Look at the pace, awareness and decision making. The decision making of Giggs and Rooney were always very high, sometimes when I say we have crawled back in decision making, it would be as if I always want to support Rooney. Martial and Rashford need to work on that. Even JS Park was very good at that. You can see how Rooney cleverly dropped the ball in the exact place Ronaldo would run head it for the second goal against Inter Milan. I remember that day, at half time SAF swap Rooney and Giggs position, Rooney went to the wing to protect Evra who was being used by Inter Milan as their attacks went through there. Rooney was more a wing back, but the one or two times he went forward he made it count.

Every time I watch Martial, Rashford and Lingard get into positions of picking a clever pass and they don't, I remember Giggs. But we will still get there with these boys- Martial and Rashford.

Lyon have agreed a deal to sign Memphis Depay from Manchester United for a fee which could rise to £21.7m, according to Sky sources.
Sky sources understand United will have a buy-back option as well as sell-on clauses inserted into the deal that takes the Netherlands international to the Ligue 1 club.
The potential add-ons include Lyon securing qualification for the Champions League and the winger signing a new contract with them.

Just see the way he asking me if Webb was an ex-refree or not, as if when he [Nihilist] employed Webb for United last 2 weeks before firing him yesterday, he wasn't an ex-refree. When Webb backs United, he's employed by United, but when he does not, he becomes an ex. grin

When Nihilist comes with his conspiracy theories sermons you don't play the Elampirö card [trying to use logics or whatever with him]. No. Never. That's because he must have read a thousand sites and blogs and gotten facts, watched Sky Sports, BBC Sport and Monday Night Football highlights, paused his TV a thousand time from all angles grin and taken many screenshots as evidence that the bad decision favored United. grin So trying to fight him with facts will land you in his well-laid traps. instead of debating it, you dig up his own club's dirts and attack him with it. The best form of defense in this situation is attack. No need of logic. Even if the wrong decision happened last 10 years, e no matter. Dig it up and fire him bumper to fender. Shebi if person kill another person and gets pardoned after being 30 years behind bars, will the state pardon mean he never killed? Never. See the way he ignored the case of child sexual abuses I brought up. If it's United, from the first day the first case got exposed last year Nihilist would have been here to remind you of how United is PDP, APC, ABC, QPR, KOWA, IJK, XYZ, all rolled into one. But suddenly, he's developed selective reading disorder when I brought the issue up. grin grin

If na that SchinappProdigy dey rant with his conspiracy theories, just ignore that one, na frustration and envy borne out of their trophy barreness dey cause am. But once you see say na Nihilist, just forget the Route A he's coming from, follow Route B, what matters is you finally arrive at Destination C [that both clubs have been favored in the past]. He has you by the balls, no need trying to reason with him, do the needful. The picture below is how you debate Nihilist whenever he comes with his fallacious tales. grin grin
https://www.funatiq.com/images/never-give-up-caricature.jpg

Don't give him a chance to corner you, just keep attacking even if he accuses you of not making sense. grin
Abeg leave that thing. Nihilist dey goof. He is also limited in his supporting evidence to back arguments.

I think the purchase of Van Persie and Kagawa in 2012/2013 affected our style of play (direct play and counter attack) and ultimately affected our attacking players - Rooney, Nani, Young, Valencia, Anderson all declined that season. These guys were not trained to pass the ball around technically until they find a target man in the box, they were used to running and running all at once at the opposition defence carrying the ball from our deep mostly via counter attacks.

Rooney was better than Van Persie in goals scored per minutes played in 2011/2012, and we lost the league with goals difference in that season we had our worst injury. Okay that SAF brought Van Persie, but adding Kagawa to struggle the second central attacking spot with Rooney was a moral killer.
I think the mistake was that we bought Kagawa before the Van Persie transfer came up.

Rooney can still improve if he wants even if he is 31. He only needs to work in the gym and do some marathon in the summer. But that depends on him and his advisors - his agent and coaches. His vision is still one of the best in the team, but his body is not fit enough to do it to the full.

They are analysing the offside goal now.

Look at the offside line.

Shey this one no straight for your eye?
Who drew this line? You or skysports?

I still find it hard to believe the defender who was closest to Valencia and the number 6 center defender were levelled. We could trust skysports for a better camera angle than any other source, but it is not adding up for me now.

There is also the question as to when they took their line. From what I saw in several videos, Valencia was played onside as at when Mata hit the pass.

If you don't accept this then I can't help you.

Picture 1. When Mata made the pass.

Picture 2. Valencia already making a forward run whike the central defender was making a late attempt to play him off.

Just a second difference between the two pictures. Look at the guy marking Mata.

The first one is the one elampiro used to 'prove' Valencia was onside.

The second is a larger pic of the exact same scene taken by me - but now elampiro claims the pass had been released when it became obvious that Valencia was in an offside position.
He appeared offside from your dubious line drawn and the timing of your screenshot
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by elampiro(m): 8:18pm On Jan 16, 2017
Nihilist, these videos look like same scene but not all axactly the same. Just look at the guy marking Mata to know. I took different pictures before the pass, during the pass and after the pass. He only appeared to be offside whike

Valencia was not offside. He only appeared to be offside before he threw the ball to Mata, and after Mata had passed to him while he chased the ball down.

While taking the throw, Valencia was levelled with the center defender and another defender close to him. Then before Mata hit the ball Valencia and his closest marker moved inward leaving the central defender closest to the goalkeeper. He was not offside at all.

Whats the difference between these two pics?

The ruling on Old Trafford pitch is not horizontal but vertical.

That horizontal line you provided was added by the person (the Sun) who made that post match video.

Valencia was not offside. Don’t rely on dubious bent line.

Elampiro look again. This is your pic.

Sky Sports did not draw that line...that is a pitch pattern that is clearly parallel to the line of the box

How can you look at that and say it's not off?
The pass had already been made here, and Valencia already running forward.

It is also possible that one this occasion the pitch line was not properly drawn
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by elampiro(m): 7:33pm On Jan 16, 2017
Nihilist:
The simple question you should ask yourself is why the only person in this world arguing this point is Elampiro.

When Coogar used to say you watched matches in a calabash of water, I thought he was joking.

You're talking 45 second clip in real time, when there's a freaking 30 minutes post match analysis with replays in front of you. cheesy

I've literally just taken this picture of that piece of play to show you how crap your analysis is.

Note the line you've been shouting that sky sports drew is actually a pattern on the pitch. Milner(No7) is on one side of the line and Valencia is on the other side
I am not the only one arguing. Many people are protesting the analysis provided by skysports. Even a certain youtube analysis suggesting Valencia was offside got more dislikes than likes.

Your picture here didn't show the center defenders
