When I had a Communist Friend

One of the things I enjoy is intellectual warfare. When I was in the Zaria University I had a Communist Friend. We once went to war intellectually and we became Friends. He described me as a "crude idealist that is obsessed with the unseen Idol".

He was born a Muslim but he has stopped praying Daily Prayers. He described them as "the fruitless exercise of the ancient barbarians". I stole the word "barbarians" from him. I used this word to create my own phrases "the genocidal imperialist barbarians of the West" and "Western hegemonic barbarians". I never saw this phrases anywhere, I created them as a result of daily writings.

Back to my Communist Friend,Abdul. We exchange Books. He gave me books of Karl Marx, Friedrich Nietzsche and Che Guevara. I gave him books of Ayatollah Mutahari, Dr. Ali Shariati and Ayatollah Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr. He love the writings of Ayatollah Mutahari most. He said Mutahari was an "unfortunate genius" because he believed in God. I love the writings of Che Guevara most. That champion was a great Hero.

One day my Communist Friend came to my Room at the ICSA Hall to Iron his clothes. We were debating while he was ironing then I asked him; what is the mechanism that is driving this Iron? He answered "electricity". I asked him; show me the electricity? He pointed to the cable and said the electricity is flowing here. I said but I can't see it with my naked eyes �? He was silent. I told him that since he insisted that he can not worship God because he can not see God with the naked eye then why should I believe him on electricity? DECEMBER 2015 MASSACRE OF SHIITES IN NIGERIA: SURVIVORS’ ACCOUNTS

I will review this book titled: “December 2015 Massacre of Shiites in Nigeria: Survivors’ Accounts” authored by Ibrahim Musa. I have given it a critical reading, evaluating and analyzing the book in its entirety and I am going to make observatory assessment of its quality, meaning and significance with the sole aim to provide guide for potential readers.

On the book: It is standard size, paperback soft cover book. It contains a compilation of different accounts of those who were not only eyewitnesses but survivors of the massacre.

Author’s credibility and qualifications: He is an experienced chief editor of Almizan newspaper, authoritative, and president of media forum of the Islamic Movement.

Readers’ expectations on the title: “(i) December 2015 (v) Massacre of (ii) Shiites in Nigeria: (iii) Survivors’ Accounts.” I think the word ‘massacre’ needs some definition. Massacre is the killing of 4 or more people in a single event – FBI.

To understand the 2015 Zaria incident, let us look at the word massacre. Massacre is an act of killing a lot of helpless or unresisting human beings under circumstances of atrocity-extreme wickedness or cruelty or wanton – deliberate and unprovoked.

What was at stake? Reasons for the massacre: political, rebellion, ethnic racial or, tribal cleansing, denomination or sectarian cleansing, extreme wickedness, ideological cleansing, threat to power, hegemony or imperial ambitions.
Is the December 2015 killing a massacre?

What sort of massacre was the December 2015 massacre? Comparisons of the Zaria massacre, by comparison: Examples: Odi, Zaki-Biam, lekkitollgate, Sabra and Shatila, Waco, Srebrenica, red mosques, Karbala massacre.

Characteristics that define massacre are: Covert operations, false flag operations frame up blame the victim, destroy more to hide evidences, demolitions, leads more killing of suspected witnesses, mass graves, false narration.

Analysis of the book proves:
(i) Occurrence of the incident
(ii) Incident was a massacre (both in terms of number killed and number of events). Yes, proven
(iii) Shiites were helpless. Yes, proven
(iv) Involvements of the principal actors, (Federal and State Governments, Military Organizations and Individuals) in the atrocity, and (not sufficient)
(v) Comparison to known massacre: Karbala massacre, WOC massacre.
(vi) Need to insert relevant photos to some of the accounts

The author used multiple witnesses to stress points, and the witnesses’ responses were well focused and guided.

On the quality of writing style, readability, persuasions, expressions, accuracy, decency, social intelligence, emotions are all commendable.

17. Witnesses NOT properly qualified or described: The book should have included ages, professions, functions, and literacy levels of the interviewees at the time of the incident.
.
Opinions: It will impact on the understanding of scholars, researchers, civil society organizations, human right organizations, legal institutions, historians, massacre victims and students. It will also dispute government claims and expose their devilish attitudes.

In discussing what I particularly liked about the book, I will say it nullifies govts’ false narratives with the use of:
(i) Close eyewitness,
(ii) Victim eyewitness and
(iii) Direct experience eyewitness to prove claims.
This gives resemblance of real-world event of what happened between 11 to 13th December 2015. The author succeeded in convincing me with the first hand evidence he provided. This book is one that I enjoy greatly and it has all the components of what makes a book very good for me.

Using star-rate on book readability formula (Lexile measure, star rating and ATOS levels), I rate 41/2 on a 5-star ranking and I would therefore recommend this book to wider audience of book readers. I’m happy that the book has been published on Amazon platform on the internet. A simple search of the book title on Amazon website will take any potential reader to the page of the book.

The allegations that @adeyanjudeji is a cash-activist is baseless, incorrect and cheap blackmail.

Deji Adeyanju is among the few real Activists we have in Nigeria. Deji will die for what he believed in. He has been imprisoned several times due to his Activism.

I can vouch for the integrity of Deji Adeyanju. Saudi petrodollars was flashed before him to betray Shiites but he refused. Deji Adeyanju led 107 day protest in Abuja for the freedom of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky and his wife, and Justice for the victims of the Zaria Massacre.

It is important to note that Deji Adeyanju spent from his pocket. Yes, he funded his Activism. We did not gave him a single penny. He used his own money. When I went to Abuja to meet him so that we can plan a protest in London infront of Buhari's house who was on Medical Tourism there, Deji took my friend and I out for lunch and he paid.

Nigerian Army Under Tyrant Buhari Tortured Shiites to Death

Today June 27th marks the United Nations (UN) International Day in Support of Victims of Torture.

As we mark this day today we should remember members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria under the leadership of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky who were tortured to their deaths by the genocidal Buhari regime.

During the genocidal massacre by the Nigerian army in Zaria between 12th-14th December, 2015, more than one thousand innocent men, women, children and infants were brutally murdered in less than 72 hours. This is the biggest massacre in the history of the Nigerian state.

The London-based Amnesty International in it's comprehensive report on the genocide in Zaria titled "Unearthing the Truth" stated that the Nigerian army used Rapid Propelled Grenades (RPG) to bombed women, children and infants in Gyallesu, Zaria, to their deaths. The Nigerian army also burnt dozens of citizens to their deaths in the residence of Sheikh Zakzaky & adjacent houses that included his 75 year old sister. Amnesty International clearly stated that some of the victims were buried ALIVE in the multiple Shia mass graves.

The most brutal and barbaric heinous crimes against humanity that the Nigerian army perpetrated during the #ZariaGenocide was the shooting of women and girls in their private parts and stabbing their breasts with riffle bayonets. Most of the victims died from this severe torture but few survived. The Movement mentioned the few Survivors in the case it submitted to the International Criminal Court, ICC.

In the course of the more than 5 years illegal detention of Sheikh Zakzaky and his wife, daily #FreeZakzaky peaceful protests usually took place in Nigerian towns and cities. The Nigerian army and police has killed 173 of these peaceful protesters and injured thousands, some of them with life threatening injures. Some of these peaceful protesters were tortured to their deaths by the Nigerian army and police.

There are thousands of members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria that are presently nursing life threatening injures that included Sheikh Zakzaky and his wife. The genocidal Buhari regime wickedly illegally siezed the Passports of Sheikh Zakzaky and his wife. Sheikh Zakzaky has 37 bullet shrapnel in his body that are oozing out lead poisoning that is poisoning his blood. This is a systematic torture to the death.

On a final note, we call on the International Criminal Court, ICC, to hasten the arrest of the genocidal criminals that buried innocent Shia civilians ALIVE in the multiple Shia mass graves as stated by Amnesty International. The unearthing of the multiple Shia mass graves in Kaduna and Kano states are important ingredients for the Prosecutor in this case. There is no painful death worse than burying ALIVE men, women, children and infants to their deaths.
