What is Ghadeer?

Ghadeer Khumm refers to the historic place where Muslims gathered to attend a sermon delivered by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sa) on 18th Dhu al-Hijjah 10 AH (16 March 632 CE).

The gathering is said to have taken place in Ghadeer Khumm, located near the then settlement of al-Juhfa on the path connecting Mecca to Medina, where Prophet Muhammad (sa) halted the caravan of Muslims returning from the Farewell Pilgrimage.

The historical importance of this stop at Ghadeer Khumm was deliberately encapsulated by the corrupt Banu Umayyad ruling dynasty who are sworn enemy of the Banu Hashim clan to deprive Muslims from knowing the day of the investiture of Imam Ali (as) as the rightful successor of the Seal of all Prophets and Messengers of God (sa).

There exist tribal colonialism in Borno State. The Kanuris make up 60% of the population and dominate the Senatorial zones of the North and Central, while other tribes are in the Southern Senatorial zone.

A Muslim from the Southern Senatorial zone of Borno state can not be the Governor of Borno state. This is tribal imperialism, arrogance and domination.

Both Chief Obafemi Awolowo and Chief Nnamdi Azikiwe flew a Christian-Christian ticket during the 1983 and 1979 presidential election respectively and millions of Nigerian voters voted for them. Chief Obafemi Awolowo also flew a Southern-Southern ticket because his VP was from Anambra state.

The Abiola June 12th presidential election is popular. As recent as 2011, Nuhu Ribadu's VP was a Yoruba Muslim when he contested under the ACN. Nobody cared.

The facts on the ground shows that politically Southern Muslims are more marginalized than Northern Christians.

BREAKING: Tinubu Picks Ex-Borno Governor Shettima As Running Mate

My analysis is correct here. Bola Tinubu have to pick a Muslim Northerner as his running mate to have a good chance of winning next year's presidential election. And Ganduje and Elrufai have excess baggages.

Despite Tinubu's decision the Muslim North will not give him block votes that they used to give Buhari because two Northerners are contesting the presidential election. And with this Muslim-Muslim ticket, Northern Christians will avoid Tinubu like plague.

A section of the Muslim North will punish the ruling party APC at the presidential election for Buhari's intergenerational failures.

Tinubu will get block votes in the South West as both Muslims, Christians and Followers of African Traditional religion will vote massively for him. Atiku will not get 50,000 votes in the South West.

The battlefield is the South South as Peter Obi will do well in his South East region.

Personally I do not have anything against Senator Kashim Shetima, Tinubu's running mate. He is not on my list of Saudi assets in Nigeria. He is an ordinary Northern politician. He was Governor of Borno state for 8 years and he is presently in the Senate.

It is important to note that all the prominent Saudi assets in Nigeria have lost out. The present Governor of Kano, Ganduje, will be accommodated by Tinubu if he wins but he can not influence Tinubu.

On the Festival of Sacrifice we should reflect on the greatness of Prophet Ibrahim (as) and his beloved son, Prophet Ismail (as) on their total obedience to the command of God.

The above event happened more than 9,000 years ago. The means of communication not as sophisticated as what we have today but it was transmitted to us as it happened.

Ismail (as) was the most beloved entity to his father and Prophet Ibrahim (as) was subjected to the biggest test by God. Sacrifice Ismail (as), was the command! The mightiest of the chosen ones of God hesitated. The most honored son in human history urged his father to obey God, the Creator of All.

When the Great Prophet and Messenger of God, Ibrahim (as) was about to carry out the command of God, a replacement was presented that will be a source of awakening all nations until the end of time.

Muslims should not celebrate the Festival of Sacrifice without remembering the historic sacrifice of the beloved Grandson of Prophet Muhammad (sa), Imam Hussein (as) and his unmatched Companions at the plain of Karbala in present day Iraq. Pure 72 souls face more than 30,000 murderous terrorists who were tools of a tyrannical ruler Yazeed - the cursed. They sacrificed their lives so that humanity will have a source of inspiration forever.

When the cursed Yazeed of Nigeria, #Buhari, brutally slaughtered more than one thousand Followers of Imam Hussein (as) that included hundreds of innocence women, children and infants in Zaria in December 2015, the first question I asked myself was "can I survive this tragedy" ❓ Then I remembered Sayyeda Zainab (as) who witnessed the Karbala Tragedy live. The Nigerian political space is heating up. Reno Omokri, former media aide of former president GEJ is supporting PDP presidential candidate Atiku.

Instead of Reno Omokri to concentrate on marketing Atiku, he is busy attacking another opposition presidential candidate Peter Obi. Peter Obi has youthful supporters who does not take prisoners, they decided to suppress him.

What gladden my heart is that increasing number of Nigerian Youths are rejecting the two dominant parties, APC and PDP. The present Governor of Yobe state, @MalaBuni, who was the acting chairman of the party met Tyrant Buhari three (3) times because of the illegal detention of the Sheikh. Some prominent citizens of the North met Bola Tinubu in Lagos that he should ask Buhari to free Sheikh Zakzaky. Tinubu came to Abuja and dragged the vice president to meet Buhari.

Immediately after the Zaria Massacre, the then US president Obama sent his Envoy to meet us in Abuja. The useless PDP wickedly refused to send it official to meet with us. When you see those wicked people wanting to meet us then election is near, they want votes. Those notorious treasury looters thought we are fools.

It was only the former Governor of Ekiti State @GovAyoFayose among PDP elites that publicly called for Free Sheikh Zakzaky in a Tweet. This is why I hold him in respect till date.

Bola Tinubu must chose a Northern Muslim if he want to win next year's presidential election. Elrufai and Ganduje have excess baggages. Yes, Ganduje is the most closest Northern politician to Tinubu but this dollar bribe videos disqualified him. No presidential candidate will touch Elrufai even with a long stick. This guy is absolute evil. People are debating who is more evil between Elrufai and Buhari.

As far as I am concern, @PeterObi and @KwankwasoRM are far better than Atiku. Atiku is a greedy plutocratic capitalist that is hungry for power to enrich his family and cronies. I do not see any difference between Atiku and Tinubu.
