Bros do you know that most of these GOs benefited from missionary schools or scholarships even when those missionaries barely managed to stay alive far away from their countries of origin. No matter what the churches contribute to society, it can never be enough. Asking what the govt has done is not a sound argument; the church is supposed to lead by example as the salt of the world and not the other way round.

I still believe Nigerian churches should do more of humanity and charity outreach. Most churches are very rich and I mean very rich, I see a lot of similarity between politicians and pastors they amass wealth and they don't really care, honestly in my own opinion churches should not even have money in their account after paying necessary bills paying pastors etc what use is money in a church's account when there are millions of hungry kids, millions of homeless people. How do our pastors feel when they drive luxury cars and see underage kid hawking on the street.

Take time and think deep that we have so many churches mosques in nigeria so many pastors preachers and religious people and our country is the way it is and countries like India where majority of the population worship cow or China where Christian populace is not even majority and these people live better than us that should tell up our Christian leaders have failed us. They started messing with politicians and now politicians are messing with them because our Christian leaders sold their birthright to politicians.

Blame Christians - most Nigerian Christians, especially the heads. They commercialized churches albeit indirectly, so I don't see any ill in the action meted out towards them.

Sultan isn't an administrative head of any group of mosques. But The GO's are (undeniably). Supposing that they (Christians head - predators) concentrates on providing spiritual leadership to their sheeples, altruistically, without the obvious but hidden motives of living off them financially, believe you me, they wouldn't have come to government scrutiny. In fact, I wish the government will begin to tax them too.

If you need any form of dogmatic, creedal and revealable religion/organization to become good and do good, you only lack good morality. . . It's time for you to change your ethical philosophy. One with God (not a predator of any guise) is majority.

Just last week here on NL, there was this story of a married woman who deceived a widower over the years with her husband whom she claimed was her brother. They milked him (widower)dry he even rented an appartment for her untill he found out that she was married with 3 kids and he did the unthinkable by pouring acid on her. Some married men are bullies...the world is not okay at the moment. Marriages are suffering and only God can revive it
