sirkay360: Since your program is thesis based, you will need a supervisor.. That's the norm in almost every Canadian universities if not all.. My program wasn't thesis based. I was even surprised when I was told I need a supervisor |

Hi guys,I applied for MEng program in University of Victoria since May. I didn't get any response till I decide email them recently about my application status. They replied that it is required that all MEng applicant get a supervisor before being admitted. Meanwhile, my application was based on project/course work.
I'm just confused on what to do now cos I've been waiting since May.
Can anyone suggest other schools I can apply to without having to get a supervisor? |

Mkpakala: Even though there are many holes to the story to discredit it's credibility like. She said the girl was brought home while the picture showed someone died while tied with handkerchief and she was claiming that the one tied was her sister? Why will a killer risk taking his/her victim home knowing that might put him in disadvantage?, but the point is no matter what she doesn't deserve to be killed. They were two of the victims. The other one who was brought home is her sister who went to bring water while the one on the bed was the first victim who was explaining the menu. "They" brought her home. "They" in that context implies the "rescuers". Could be the hotel staff or some other good Samaritans who later found out. |

GeniusWannabe: What explanation do you give when someone you don't know, and haven't met in person walks up to you and tells you some personal things about you that probably, those who're around you do not know about?
Or you want to say the poster is lying? In the absence of any evidence, I'll simply admit that I don't know how the person got to know about me, yet I won't rule out other known possibilities such as random guess or hand of an insider being involved. OP already believes the supernatural exists and every trick on his brain is processed as an evidence in order to consolidate his already held beliefs. |

Theist can really be funny. They first arrive at a conclusion about something with no evidence, then everything that exposes their ignorance becomes an evidence for it. |

I had one selfish girlfriend like that too. It was either her own way or no other way.
I left her for same reason. And till today, I'm still thanking my stars cos it was after she's gone that I realised what a deadly bullet I missed. |

Marula: Am a newbie but have read a lot on previous threads, this one and CIC website. Yes you can update your profile while still in the pool even after ITA if you want but if update affects your CRS that's where the gbege is. But adding a Masters will actually give you more points, that's a positive update.
Elders correct me if am wrong please. Thanks bro. I'm grateful |

A friend is undergoing one and said it's for a year. . Thanks bro. Think I will go for NOUN masters. But is it possible one enters the pool with BSc while waiting to conclude masters program then update later after completion of program? |

Yuyukoko: I think it's quite difficult considering the points you want to have. It's usually more realistic to have an M.sc or a professional certificate added to B.sc , except of course, you want to look into the PNP route. I may be wrong... What kind of professional certificate is acceptable and won't take more than a year to obtain? |
