Igbos know that Benins are not lazy , Benins started to develop their states right from ADs..so no Igbo man can come and say is a no man's land ....

You can't claim Lagos State is fully A Yoruba state when you can't also claim Kwara State is also a full Yoruba State...

Na for Igbos una dey shine eyes ?.....lols

what is Benin in the scheme of things in Nigeria or what can you match Yoruba in ?

Industry
Entertainment
ICT
Banking etc ?

Lazy Benin calling hardworking Yoruba Lazy.

Lagos is a full Yoruba state.

So if Benin have many Igbo living there in the future we should start calling it a no man's land?

You comot Lagos grin E don clear you for eyes say Lagos na no man's land

I won't blame you Igbo for calling Lagos a no man's land

That is the disrespect you should pay Yoruba in Lagos that voted for Obi.

It is time for Lagos to have Igbo governor, Lagos is really a no man's land. Some Lagos Indigenes want to prove they are not tribalists so they deserve every disrespect and it is time for Igbo to start governing Lagos, hopefully they won't destroy Lagos and turn it to where they are running away from in the East.

Romance / This Secrets Will Double Your Understanding Of Women by Elemosho478: 4:01pm On Jan 12, 2023
"Keeping your word" is a masculine trait, in men or women. A person with a feminine essence may not keep her word, yet it is not exactly "lying" In the feminine reality, words and facts take a second place to emotions and the shifting moods of relationship. When she says, "I hate you," or "I'll never move to Texas," or "I don't want to go to the movies," it is often more a reflection of a transient feeling-wave than a well considered stance with respect to events and experience. On the other hand, the masculine means what it says. A man's word is his honor. The feminine says what it feels. A woman's word is her true expression in the moment.

When you listen to your woman, listen to her as you would the ocean, or the wind in the leaves. The sounds you hear from her are sounds of the motion of her feeling-energy. Of course, there are times when she speaks in the masculine style of meaning ex-actly what she says, but more often, and almost always in emo-tional moments, what she says is the sound of her feelings. Her feminine speech is far more like poetry than like a clearcut agenda for action. In an emotional moment, what she says she is going to do is actually an expression of what she feels like doing in the moment. Her feelings, and therefore what she is actually going to do, could change in five minutes. It could change every five minutes.

Whenever you are surprised by your woman's actions, and you say to her, "But you said...," you are forgetting that she has a feminine essence. What your woman says is like a cloud passing in the sky: well-formed, coherent, and unrecognizable moments later. The cloud is an expression of the precise physics of water, wind, and air. Your woman's words are expressions of the physics of her feelings, your relationship, and the nuances of the present situation, seen and unseen. A moment later, these factors will change, and so will your woman's expressions.

You might ask her, "Do you want to go to the movies?"
She might reply, "Not really."
Then you hug her and spin her around and say, "Let's go to the movies!"
And she says, "OK!"

She is not talking about her desire to go to the movies. She is talking about the feeling of your relationship in the present moment. If after she said she didn't want to go to the movies, you said fine and sat down to watch TV, you would be missing the point. She is not really saying she doesn't want to go to the movies, even though that is what she's saying.
This is not lying. For a man, or for anyone speaking in the masculine style, to say something that is not true is lying. But, for the feminine, truth is a thin concept compared to the thickness of her flow of feelings. The "truth" of the feminine is whatever she is really feeling, in this present moment.

So, when she says that she wants to move to Pittsburgh with you, and then, after you have sold the house, she says she doesn't want to move with you, don't start yelling, "But you said...!"
When she first told you she wanted to move, she was feeling good about the relationship. When she then told you she doesn't want to move, she was feeling bad about the relationship. Instead of arguing about what she said or didn't say, establish love in the intimacy first.

The basic rule is this: Don't believe the literal content of what your woman says unless love is flowing deeply and fully in the moment when she says it. And even then, know that she is prob-ably talking about her current feelings, not necessarily about the subject of whatever she is talking about. Never base your plans on what a woman says she wants to do, unless she is in the full flow of love when she says it. And then, expect her to change her mind at any moment when her feelings change. Remember that a woman's feelings may be more sensitive to an unseen realm of nature than are yours. Try to differentiate between your woman's shifting moods and her sensitive wisdom.

Women are not liars, although they often seem that way to men. This is why a man must ultimately be responsible for making his own decisions, based on the deepest truth he can fathom. Otherwise, if he bends his course of truth to compromise for his woman's current and changing expressions, he will probably end up blaming her.

You should hear what your woman has to say and feel her depth carefully. Then, after you have fully considered her input, make your best possible decision from your own deep core. This way, if your woman subsequently changes her mind, you won't resent her for compromising your path. Rather, you can enjoy her subtle sensitivity and changing emotional weather patterns.

You can proceed with or modify your actions in full gear, know-ing you are always making the best choice available to you, having taken her depth of wisdom—and her fluctuations of ex-pression and mood—wholly into account.

It is his fundamental human right and should not be insulted like what is happening on a thread currently in frontpage promoted by seun and his mod.

A rebuttal to this : https://www.nairaland.com/7506189/2023-labour-party-candidates-lagos

In this thread, 4 position was picked out of over 25 tickets for the LP contesting as senatorial, house of reps and house of assembly whom are mostly held by yoruba indigenes ,this is an attempt by nairaland to push sentiment against a particular tribe as against what seun is making us believe on twitter with his apology only to return and meet this .

That Aiyelabegan is the only Yoruba though and he won't win under a mushroom party like NNPP it is just an efort in futility, same way those Igbo contesting under Labour party in Lagos won't win too. You can talk the day PDP or APC or even APGA gave a Yoruba man ticket in the east.

The reason why they allowed that man to contest is because they know he wouldn't win anyway.

Travel and see things maybe you can reason well next time ....most successful non indigenes in other states are igbos ...the reason we don't have such in igboland is that...mostly Yorubas are lazy in starting a business rather to work for someone or use Twuale method to collect money or grab lands, or behave like touts...only little are educated think better.

Who is interested in your barren region that you can't even stay in yourselves ? what is there that is making you troop out of it ?

You must be very new to the media if you don't know Adeleke's family relationships with Igbo.

even the Adeleke that is the state governor is half Yoruba half Igbo.

nothing special about the DNA or anything those Igbo women just married rich Yoruba, Igbo men marries Igbo women in the East but stick languishing in penury.

What was the religion of the Ilorin people before the Fulani invasion?

most of the inhabitants were muslims and Ilorin was never invaded by Fulani, Afonja took in those Fulani and they helped him fight back against Oyo Empire, before they betrayed him and assassinated him

Most of you believed Yoruba got Islam from Fulani but Yoruba got Islam from Mali and Songhai Empire through trading not Fulani .

The story you shared was first quoted and framed by people of my community during our land battle with our neighbors...To understand the lineage of the Aguleri people,we have to trace it from the time of Eri,the son of Gad,the grandson of Jacob..
His descendants were said to have first landed at the Omambala axis ..
His descendants even had to built what we called the "OBU GAD" situated in Aguleri in his memory..
Agulu is said to be the first son of Eri,and he is the father of the Aguleri people...
You can't twist our history.

Why are cases first taken to the palace if our monarchy system of government is now inconsequential?

How did the Igala colonize the Igbos?
How is Obiano an Igala man like you claimed?

You are the daft one here

Yes our traditional rulers are mostly inconsequential with little influence, beside the Emir title is not from Fulani in the first place you are an illiterate. Emir and Sultan is an arabic title from the Quran and Arab not Fulani title. Ilorin also did not have any monarchy in the first place, Afonja was just a warlord not a king and dominant religion in Ilorin was also Islam that was why the title was easily established in the first place .

Today South East is the smallest region in the south, tiny in a dot circle

Oyo state alone is as big as entire south east so we are not obsessed with lands.

Ilorin that Fulani installed Emir because of Afonja betrayal is just a tiny part of Yoruba land. Yoruba conquered most of the lands in Kwara state during Oyo Empire expansion in the first place, When talking about lands we will always be better than you.

What can your type do in igboland apart from selling agbo and sewing babaringa?
I mean let's be realistic for once; which area of human endeavor will you outcompete the igbos in their dormain, apart from these your traditional areas of specialty? Even the Chinese and the Lebanese struggle business wise in igboland for this same reason. You haven't noticed that? Igboland is highly competitive! Men fed by their wives like you will easily die off there.. You stand no chance. Stop blaming them for your laziness and cultural incapacity to tango and compete..

I mean, we are talking about a people that have turned you into an etternaly grumbling tenant in your own fatherland for which you have turned every thread on this site into a wailing destination! If they can so easily mess you up in your own land, how do you plan to compete in their own land? It's not that they aren't "unaccommodating" as you will conviniently pass it off, it's just that there are a million of them already doing whatever you plan to do in their land, while this is not the case in your land. This explains the migratory patterns but village hate won't allow you to face the facts!

Your pain not mine..

The east is barren and not viable for business, that explain the low IGR. You troop in to our region daily to make a living, no Yoruba would be interested in going to a place that people troop out daily like it is war torn.

Which sector in Nigeria can your curse Osu lineage compete with Yoruba, ICT, Education ,Entertainment, Culture, Industry, Real Estate etc even in Diapora UK and US your generation cannot compete with Yoruba .
