treasureboy09: Would you mind showing prove or links to your assumption?
Please do a research that shows the opposite of what I stated..I would be glad to see them If that place was a military installation it might have a different approach.
SixSeven: The Nigerian government over time, with assistance of the NPF degraded the Nigerian Police. It didn't help that Nigeria was led by the military for years but since 1999, they did not regard the police high, that's why see finish don enter. We have heard of so many scandals in the Police so they too don't treat themselves well. The Police is a reflection of Nigeria. How you treat yourself is how others will see you. Just take a look at a typical police barracks and a Naval base or army barracks and you will find out what you need to know.
I remember many years ago in one small town in a European country, while the soldiers are training driving their tanks, only one police man will be monitoring them to make sure there wasn't any reckless driving or over speeding . He would mount his motorcycle and go around the different 'formations' and route. The military guys behaved without questions
OMEGA009: There’s an equivalent in all arms of the military and it comprises of the Reverend (Catholic and Anglican), Protestant and Imam. Unfortunately, they all come under the cadre of Short Service so they mostly don’t pass Lt. Col.
You mean these Reverends would retire after after being a Lt. Col.? Great info! Thank you
Racoon: Good continue to bless all these chaplains - men of repute who have continued to be our source of spiritual support when in service and out of service. God rest the soul of Brigadier Danfulani and other who have answered the call to glory. More comfort to the families.
I thought a chaplain is like a priest? Do they also have "imam" equivalent? I heard this chaplain thing in the military many years ago but I have never been educated on it
The other side( behind/beside her) was much safer. The people could have wore a thinking cap. The panic caused a bad decision and direction. This is why one has to be careful of what and whole they listen to. How sad!
dawnomike: Only few Nigerian policemen are sane...
Give a foolish black man a gun and he thinks he is god over another man... Gove a stupid white man a gun and he thinks he has the power to take life at will.
Karence: For once I agree with keyamo cose personally as an obedient I will withdraw my support since I know fully well that P. O will not get the power to perform as he should as V.P
Christianoir: I see people saying you shouldn’t care about what people say but I’ve been trying it not working because people might say bad thing about me and I will start thinking about it for days
How do I get that I don’t care attitude I know inot possible not to care but at least I don’t want people opinions to weigh we down
How do you guys do it Please suggest guys It weighing me down
It is more than not caring about what they say. It is about building more confidence in yourself. You need to also know that most people are not deep and therefore what they think of you is also not well thought. People will always have their opinions but what you think and how you feel matters. Work on yourself and you will find more reasons to careless of what others think. Mind you sometimes what people think only lag a few minutes or hours after that they move to something else. Above all validate yourself. That doesn't mean you won't learn from others. Nuff respekt
TimeManager: This girl.. you know death is an inevitability yet you gloating over someone else's demise. Death is no respecter of age, time, sex and status, it could knock on your door at any time. The earlier you guys talking smack grow up and allow common sense prevail, the better for you.
- Kiss the truth!
Do you think it is everyone that's afraid of de**the?
They forgot Iran is persia. They forgot Iran has survived long decades of sanctions against the west. They forgot they still have lots of deadly unknown missiles underground. They forgot Iran can cause alot of crises at the straight of hormoz. They forgot Iran has one of the most difficult mountainous terrain to fight on.
They forgot they have the population to replace whatever scientists or generals killed by isreal.
I agree Iran is Persia. But I think Iran would have problem launching more missiles in no time. This is because there could be lack of jet fuel. Remember about 3 months ago when a large amount they imported from NK was mysteriously blown up?
I think the war is already over. Jet fuel for missiles will become a problem for Iran. Remember the explosion of jet fuel from about 4 months ago? Supply will get low. It is already an unfair fight.
oluwaahmed: Nope, he was not rigged out! Nigerians remembered that he developed the structural adjustment program (SAP) for babangida which threw the country into hardship and unprecedented level of poverty, inflation & currency depreciation.
TimeManager: In 1999, Yoruba presented this man as President, an astute economist but Nigerians rejected him for a soldier. In 2023, Yoruba presented a first class Accountant, this time, he was accepted.
-Kiss the truth!
He was actually rigged out. My suspicion is that he had same ideas as MKO.
AllBlack: Never done this Right from my first phone in 2002. But When you look back and think of how 90% of the populace that followed such a hogwash idea (even till now) are still the same people that have become public advisors and influencers (thanks to wide use of internet), it makes you wonder the pool of people we are mixed with and the extent of mental decay that has "successfully" affected the society.
Oh yeah, I get you. Mine first was 00 and it was right in the manual. But you know people want to make contents without finding the current state of things 😃
ivandragon: Obi needs to understand that to put Nigeria on the track of 'working', the present disaster at the centre must be voted out.
So, if Obi truly has the interests of Nigerians at heart, he needs to join hands with Atiku and others in the opposition so as to present a formidable force to remove bat.
Anything less will be an exercise in futility.
So true. The country can do better. I'm m beginning to have some suspicions.
@op I don't know how old you are(no pun intended). But back in the days when you get a new phone the instructions were to make sure you fully charge the batteries and do it for some hours. It has now become a "myth" like you wrote. I think people are still stuck in the old ways.
Masterviolence: Zelensky finds himself in a state of profound confusion.
After being urged to partition Ukraine's wealth and allocate a portion to the United States as compensation for the extensive support received for his war efforts, support from which no discernible positive outcomes have emerged from the Ukrainian perspective. Zelensky initially resisted signing such an agreement. However, he now appears to have little choice in the matter.
The pressing question remains: why did he not pursue negotiations at the outset of this conflict? He hesitated, swayed by advisors who assured him that he could confront Russia, yet these same individuals are unwilling to commit troops on the ground should the situation deteriorate.
After years of protracted fighting, Ukraine has suffered immense losses: millions of lives have been lost, either through death or forced migration, the economy has been severely compromised, critical infrastructure has been devastated, significant territories have been relinquished, and a substantial portion of its natural resources has been depleted. To compound these tragedies, it appears increasingly unlikely that Ukraine will ever gain membership in NATO.
Read about how Germany and France wanted to broker a deal at the outset but Britain came in to deceive the Ukrainians.
In Sweden the government have been peddling rumours of attack. Russia will not want to do that with Finland or Sweden. These are countries that had fought USSR for centuries. Also, they have been well prepared many years before the war in Ukraine started. The war should have ended when it stated if not how the British encouraged Ukrainians to continue the war.
Lioness5280: Go and check the latest development from the white house. They know this isn't about them...they are just being used and will be the biggest losers if they leave. This is about SA stance on Israhell and the Boeres know it. Let them go and fight for menial jobs with 3rd worlders
mrbonesy2k: At about 10:58pm yesterday, my dog barked just once, i was surprised because i just left the sitting room. I woke up this morning to see this long black snake lying dead in my sitting room outside door. My dog couldn't stand up nor eat. But i have taken her to my vet doctor for treatment. Please what is the name of this snake and does it have deadly venom?
abobote: All these things don't matter. Our Judiciaries are fanatically corrupt. Maybe they have written the judgment already in favor of the highest bidder, while watching all these dramas in the court
Any hope as per the courts of appeal or the supreme court?
