In 1999, Yoruba presented this man as President, an astute economist but Nigerians rejected him for a soldier. In 2023, Yoruba presented a first class Accountant, this time, he was accepted.

-Kiss the truth!
He was actually rigged out. My suspicion is that he had same ideas as MKO.

Never done this Right from my first phone in 2002.
But When you look back and think of how 90% of the populace that followed such a hogwash idea (even till now) are still the same people that have become public advisors and influencers (thanks to wide use of internet), it makes you wonder the pool of people we are mixed with and the extent of mental decay that has "successfully" affected the society.
Oh yeah, I get you. Mine first was 00 and it was right in the manual. But you know people want to make contents without finding the current state of things 😃
Politics › Re: I’m Not Desperate To Be President, I Just Want Nigeria To Work - Peter Obi by elevated2: 1:07pm On May 25, 2025
ivandragon:
Obi needs to understand that to put Nigeria on the track of 'working', the present disaster at the centre must be voted out.

So, if Obi truly has the interests of Nigerians at heart, he needs to join hands with Atiku and others in the opposition so as to present a formidable force to remove bat.

Anything less will be an exercise in futility.
So true. The country can do better. I'm m beginning to have some suspicions.

@op I don't know how old you are(no pun intended). But back in the days when you get a new phone the instructions were to make sure you fully charge the batteries and do it for some hours.
It has now become a "myth" like you wrote. I think people are still stuck in the old ways.

Foreign Affairs › Re: Ukraine Will Not Recognise Us-russia Peace Deal, Zelensky Warns by elevated2: 7:46pm On Feb 17, 2025
Masterviolence:

Zelensky finds himself in a state of profound confusion.

After being urged to partition Ukraine's wealth and allocate a portion to the United States as compensation for the extensive support received for his war efforts, support from which no discernible positive outcomes have emerged from the Ukrainian perspective.
Zelensky initially resisted signing such an agreement. However, he now appears to have little choice in the matter.

The pressing question remains: why did he not pursue negotiations at the outset of this conflict?
He hesitated, swayed by advisors who assured him that he could confront Russia, yet these same individuals are unwilling to commit troops on the ground should the situation deteriorate.

After years of protracted fighting, Ukraine has suffered immense losses: millions of lives have been lost, either through death or forced migration, the economy has been severely compromised, critical infrastructure has been devastated, significant territories have been relinquished, and a substantial portion of its natural resources has been depleted. To compound these tragedies, it appears increasingly unlikely that Ukraine will ever gain membership in NATO.
Read about how Germany and France wanted to broker a deal at the outset but Britain came in to deceive the Ukrainians.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Trump Says He Discussed Ending Ukraine War With Russia's Putin by elevated2: 9:20pm On Feb 12, 2025
Golan007:
Let's see if Putin would attack Sweden.
In Sweden the government have been peddling rumours of attack. Russia will not want to do that with Finland or Sweden. These are countries that had fought USSR for centuries. Also, they have been well prepared many years before the war in Ukraine started.
The war should have ended when it stated if not how the British encouraged Ukrainians to continue the war.

Even as a Catholic, I think the Pope shouldn't involve himself deeply or sentimentally in this.

He should forget all these trying to show concern for humanity talk and let these people protect themselves and their loved ones the way they deem fit.
Do you know there were Catholics that were kpaied in the war? Maybe that is not important? I think he made a statement and it can be investigated. It is that simple. No need for dramas.

Love800:
Too much dollars increases value of naira?
Am confuse.
I thought is when we use naira to operate in the country and not dollar, is what will make naira appreciate!
No, there are other things that make naira to appreciate. In this case of December to January, it a case of demand and supply. The people coming into the country are coming with dollars. It means dollar demands are low while that if naira is high. With that naira appreciates

Love800:
Thanks so much.
Let me ask again. So is too much dollar that makes the naira not to have value?
Too much of dollars in the market increases the value of Naira. Also, other currencies are performing against the dollar currently. That is another factor.

They will change the dollars to naira and start spending it in nigeria. Is this why it will fall? Am correct, abi?
You are right. So the demand for dollar is less . Excess of dollars in the market.
Business › Re: Naira May Hit ₦1,200 — Black Market Operators by elevated2: 10:32am On Dec 10, 2024
Back in the days Dollar usually falls in December due to influx of diasporan Nigerians returning with huge suns of dollars. It usually continues untill after Budget passing(sometime around end of January). Let's see how it goes this time.

Russia is part of evil axis or how can you be sending North Korean Armies to Ukraine - your neighbour that you deliberately invaded, annexed their Regions,e.g Cremea -Territories, without blinking an eyes!
Then any little disagreement, you adjust your Nuclear Powered Weapons,by including Belarus Country!
If Russia is sincere, they ought to know that - no one will be a friend to a Dictator, who can wake up one day and Occupy another man's territory and even Annex it!
Other surrounding Countries will always be mindful of your thoughts , Suspicious of Actions, especially those that have declared their loyalties to European Countries and why not? I will rather choose Freedom to Dictatorship!
Can you Now -see that all these BRICS gathering is to divide the World because of Dictators( Russia and China) and Others- the Rest.
It cannot urgur well for their Missions,in Financial World!
Just a matter of time!

Foreign Affairs › Re: Russian-made Weapons Found In Hezbollah Arsenal, Report(photos) by elevated2: 2:29pm On Nov 19, 2024
My theory is that for Russia to receive the drones from Iran they needed to give something to Iran and these weapons later found their way to Hzb. The Russians are smart to not want to have a direct involvement with groups like HZB

She's trying to be kind to me now and I've forgiven her or so I thought. My life didn't turn out well the way I wanted because of her curse and evil mind towards me.

She regrets everything now and I have moved on but the memories fail to leave me. I've tried as much as possible to forget those things
but I can't and each time I remember them I feel this rage inside of me.

I don't need to do anything but at least people will see if he's only being entitled or if he truly was abused , and even that we still need to hear the mothers side. I have always made it a habit to always listen to both sides of an argument/fight before I draw any conclusions. And about him developing memory loss , so why is he angry if he can not remember the specific evil things the mother did to him huh
You have a point but you need to understand how the brain/mind works.

Op you will always have the rough memory. What you need are coping skills and emotional healing to release some of the emotions. Also empower your soul and spirit. If you are lucky to meet a girl who is mature and spiritual she could help you heal with her femine energy. Take some supplements and herbs that support the brain eg adaptogens. In my opinion you are dealing with scars/ trauma and. Lot forgiveness . If at all there is unforgiveness here it is like the one you have against your self. Be gentle on yourself. Best o luck 🤞🏾.
Ps: it is a main problem in Afro Communities.
