I follow football for many years I don't think Brasil comes anywhere close to the kind of favours Arg enjoys.
Meanwhile some of the rules that came into football were due to the behaviours of south American teams especially Arg. These guys would five , act etc so easily in the days. Cheats of the highest order .
Until date an African has not officiated beyond knockout stages as a ref due to the " hand of God goal". That match was officiated by a Camerounian.

During Olympics 96 with Nigeria, when they were losing one player I think Baptistuta went to Amunike who was about to throw in a ball and kicked him from behind around the lower calf area. The kick was so strong, using under his shoe. The ref did not give him even a yellow. I wonder how people support a team that plays so nasty. A black man gave an assist yesterday. I was expecting lamin or William to score. But an assist came from one of them. It's all good.Make Spain share docs for our people.

Argentina made 5 or so changes before 73 minutes and England made only one. Some of the players like Kane was already tired. What else would a good manager do?

I have always hated them since 2005 FIFA World Youth Championship (U-20 World Cup) held in the Netherlands.

I remember that one. As at then in the case of Nigeria some of us thought our boys were inexperienced. But in 94 the ref was on their side no doubt. In 96 even though Nigeria won you could still see some protection for them. However that of 96 our boys were should have been bold and protected.....

It appears "Africa near success" syndrome is also playing out in Football. We need to look inward and change a lot of things. Als, Argentina somehow are always lucky with African teams. Somehow it just works for them in the last minute- Deflection, penalty, something always happens.
Our handling of success also matters. Look how the goals scorers from Africa most times celebrate. The energy could be conserve to play more. Keep playing as if you are not on the winning side until the last whistle blows.

I noticed that our young boys(African heritage) when they play, they tend to avoid these bullies. Even African team do the same. Since I started watching football the bullies and racist always get away with these things. Go watch old videos of Nigeria playing Argentina. Even two Euros ago the Croatia team did the same to the black English boys. Some lessons ought to be taught them.

Seconded! I think Argentina would rather play European teams than African teams even though they somehow get lucky at the end of the day.
Cape Verde have been the most technical side and even for Argentina.
But I would be happy if they Egypt wins the game.
