PoliticsRe: Top Ten Things That Would Happen If Nigeria Is Restructured by Elfenomeno(m): 4:22pm On Nov 14, 2018
ZKOSOSO:
The Parasitic core North won't let it be possible.
It would have the makings of real Poverty epicentre of the Universe.

The accursed scions of DanFodio who survived daily by Violence, Thieving, Bloodbath and Politics would be so exposed for the world to see with no hiding place.

Just like fish outta water....!
Then we should force it on them. How long are we going to allow those people continue to have their way?

Hi everyone, I would be glad if Lasu graduates who had obtained their transcripts can be of help how they went about it. I know I can apply online but I really wish to know the duration it would take before I can have it. I really need it asap for admission purposes.

I'll really appreciate any suggestion and contribution.
CrimeRe: Bricklayer Killed By Stray Bullet In A Clash Between Custom Officers & Smugglers by Elfenomeno(m): 11:25am On Nov 08, 2018
Those customs guys are insane. They caused a great commotion at Agbeloba junction sometime last year. Everyone thought it was a robbery incident. I wanted to write a petition to their controller general to prevail on his boys to stop exchanging fire with smugglers in urban areas unfortunately, I had to enter a remote village the following day on a fieldwork and no time to follow up.

Drversatile:
IT IS TIME THIS THING CALL 'NYSC' SHOULD BE SCRAPED TOO MANY DEATH OF YOUNG AND VIBRANT YOUTHS.

This type of avoidable death saddens my heart.
NYSC is now competing with Boko Haram in terms of life consumption. The scheme has lost it's relevant long ago. Just like a friend said several years ago, 2009 to be precise. He's Lagos based but served in Jigawa Feb/Mar 2009. He said the main reason the scheme can't be scrapped is simply because it favors the North. What he said about the accommodation situation at his PPA is worst than sleeping under the bridge.
I'm sorry to say it but the fact remains our reasoning isn't advanced in this country if not we the people can stop it by refusing our children/wards from taking part in it, we don't need the government to scrap it, with time employers will no longer make it a requirement as long as job seekers can prove they have something to offer. personally i have made up within my mind that i will not employ those that took part in the scheme in my futures companies, however it's limited to those that served from 2012 upward because i believe no right thinking person should take part in scheme anymore after the 2011 post elections violence.

RomanceRe: I Find It Very Offensive When Men Cannot Chase Only Women They Can Afford by Elfenomeno(m): 1:31pm On Mar 02, 2017
My brothers, gender equality and almost every other neo liberal agendas are scam

nextprince:
So dating a woman is about affordability? I never knew they have been commoditised.

But where then lies the much talked about gender equality if a man must be sufficiently buoyant to chase the 'expensive' ladies and when a lady is rich, the guy is tagged cheap opportunist?

This guy will soon know how devastating the might of our military can be should he try any nonsense.

in his own fair world, we should have allowed Jonathan to continue to rule us unopposed or better still, not have any election despite his glaring incompetence to lead effectively and efficiently. Make we sha mange am anyhow e be

This stupid man should tell us how it was possible for JEG to ever become a president without the support of the North and SW that he's now castigating.

The oil you guys keep harping on belongs to Nigeria as a whole. The fact that it is found in your region is the reason you get lion share from the proceed. Also, before oil Nigeria was financed from the proceeds of other commodities found in the North and the SW. So save the crap and behave yourselves.
Stop lying, every region was financed by commodities found in there and not that the SW and North was financing the whole country
PoliticsRe: Asari Dokubo Issues A New Threat by Elfenomeno(m): 10:56pm On Apr 01, 2015
mymadam:
Though I do not believe anyone could say this at this time, but if true, this is for you, Asari Dokubo.

Calm down, my Nigerian brother, the truth is that, if not probably handled, the end product of any irrational action - from any quarters - will go beyond June 12... all the way to 1966. However, this time the end result will be worse than 1966-70! Why & how? There will be no slang like, "no victor, no vanquished" again... THE WINNER WILL TAKE ALL. Please I advise that you quickly take a crash course in World History. Peace, brother, peace! God bless Nigeria.
Guy, you lack knowledge about strategy and global oil politics. To start it, I'm Yoruba, even though the super powers will do everything to stop the outbreak of war in Nigeria due to the huge humanitarian crisis it would caused yet if it happens, don't deceive yourself, there is no way a Hausa-Fulani/Yoruba alliance can crush the SS and SE in this time an age, the likely result is a SE/SS victory or a war without end. Come to think of it, majority of Yorubamen are not even gonna team up with Hausa-Fulanis as long the SW isn't invaded. To join an alliance against the SE/SS would be the most stupid thing to, how can team up with a region that has little economy value against the one with huge valuehuh You even went as far to mentioned A Winner Takes All ish, do you think the world is still in the middle age?

PoliticsRe: What's The Difference Between The Senate And House Of Representative? by Elfenomeno(m): 4:28pm On Feb 20, 2015
Equalizer:
What's the difference between the Senate and house of Representative? Politically inclined personnel in the house should help me out here cos from what I can observe from here is that they both perform the same function which doesn't make sense.. E.g Senate summons Jega today and Tomorrow you will hear again that House of Reps want to summon the INEC boss on the same issue.. please I need to be clarified here..
OP, i haven't made any comment here for over a year now but your post caught my attention,

According to the Living US Constitution by Saul K Padover which I read over 14 years ago. A member of the house of representative represents the people of his constituency at the congress whereas a senator represents the state. According to that book, there are differences in the functions of the two, however, our own system may differ from that of the US.

RIP to the dead.

I know some folks here would use this incident to justify the mishaps in our own sector.

We truly deserve the kind of leaders we get.
Sure, they have the right to use it because you GEJ haters always sound as if every problem we have in this country started on the very day he became President. We all know the problems and I always ask his haters that I've gotten the chance to met, did all this problems start under GEJ? None have been able to answer.

Soti ye e?
Bro, kindly stop this your blind nationalism. I'm also Yoruba, a historian. The Fulani did defeat us at Ilorin, they also killed the traitor, Afonja. From Ilorin, they sacked Oyo ile, don't you that the present Oyo isn't the Capital of the Old Oyo Empire? Old Oyo was upper ward when compare to the present one. However, you're right about Ibadan defeating them in 1840 at Oshogbo and the Ibadan forces made a grave mistake by not chasing them out of Ilorin. At that time, if the other Yoruba States had align with Ibadan, Sokoto itself could have been a Yoruba city, I said so because we've had access to European riffles and Canons at that time whereas, the Fulanis were using calvary, swordmen and archers. The insult at Ilorin is the reason why any sane Yorubaman should consider the Hausa/Fulani as our eternal enemies. Tinubu and co, need to learn from history.

No justification for what Shekau and co. are doing, infact the muslims will be happy if he could be stopped(because 95% of his victims are muslims).

In view of all this the fact that Adoiph Hitler is a catholic christian could not be washed away, mumu check details and stop your religious bigotry.
You be fool! Hitler carried out his own wicked mission purely for nationalistic motives and not on the platform of religion. He wanted to create a new world order with the Aryans as the dominant race. He wasn't interested in making catholicm or christianity the world religion, get it boy? Your man, Shekau said the Quran is behind his own motive.

PoliticsRe: Thousands Of Nigerian Muslims Hold Pro-Morsi Rally by Elfenomeno(m): 5:19pm On Aug 25, 2013
OneOpinion: am beginning to have headache.....the last referendum passed in egypt was in favour of morsis policy.it was over a 64% win and all subsequent referenda were also of the nature since he was elected-think 2 or therabout

You see,my brother, the problem we are having here is the definition of PEOPLE
The democracy that will hold to high esteem itself has not done much proffering solution to this problem.
Democracy caters for only 51% of the whole population...and not 99%.Now tell me what happens to the remaining 49%...they would have just voted and thats all and that had always being the status quo--In Nigeria,America where ever elections are held in the world just name it.....So there is nowhere a government has 100% support of the people.
Take for instance,if the remaining 49% takes to the street chanting anti-government praises will it in anyway amount to the voice of the people or the voice of the opposition.Exactly what the problem is
thats of egypt is not even close to this because an overwhelming majority favoured his government.I would have been happy if truly you know whats going on in egypt
In what modern states do you hear the military take part in government and politics. How do you intend to administer a country whose economy is dominated by the military hard-liners(40%) who are your torn enemies.Wont you move to make yourself powerful also or what its the essence of a democratic govt whose fate resides with the military.Morsi was a good president sabotaged by the military.

The major problem egyptians have is the military and not mursi.Having ruled the state since its inception, they find it hard to secede power to a democratic government.
In whatever situation we find ourselves, there are bound to be protagonists and antagonists....its a game of numbers ay the end of the day
Even when Hosni Mubarak was ousted,he had supporters....so what are we talking about then.
Am quite sure that those supporters of his was what the military used to stage the tahrir protest(actual figure wasnt up to 50000.....about 33000 or thereabout). Now tell me is that representative of the Egyptian populace of over 90million population.Hell No.

How do you account forr over 7wks long protests, heavily populated ones across the states and cities of egypt organised simultaneously...... Thats the voice of the people if you ask me,compared to a once staged protests at tahrir square..please. lets be fair in our judgement. The death toll ranges over 6000(anti coup protesters)

You see, majority of us are victims of the international media propaganda because they are controlled by the "superpowers" i.e America who as along standing *i-scratch -your-back-scratch-my-back* relationship. They can only make you see what they want you to see and not whats actually happening.
At least with your own little intellectualism you can call that a coup- America is yet and will not call it a coup,Does our individual IQ surpass that of the American government as a whole....guess you beginning to see things differently now.If you yet to,this is for you

How will you explain the release of erstwhile egyptian monarch---Hosni-Mubarak or havent you heard that as well.Someone who was accused of slaughtering his own people all on the name of power drunkenness is now a free man.Thats what the military wants-freedom for their leader
You now see its a war between democracy under Morsi and the military under el-sisi.Between these two parties who in your own opinion will hold the interest of the people at heart

You make mention of handing over to the civilian government..so now soverignity now resides with the military and no longer the people because am yet to see the elections that brought in the new government in to power. And what do you make of a government who derived his power from the military,to serve as an instrument through which the military rule the state.Thats exactly what the military wants and president mursi wont succumb to that.

I can at this point which the whole egyptian a welcome back to the dark ages of military rule- led y el-sisi ,hosni mubarak & co

Exactly what the MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD ARE FIGHTING AGAINST and you are there sitting in the comfort of your living rooms passing ill informed judgement

The Best thing any well meaning nigerian can do is to debunk the coup even our government did which am happy about.so whats the offence of these fellas that have taken just a step further in doing by rallying

Lets all watch it,our sentiment is getting inhmane.Dont turn yourself to who you dont wanna be just becaue of ideological differences.
WHATS BAD IS BAD AND WHATS GOOD IS GOOD
I want to be believe we are all well meaning nigerians

Just to mention we all in the fight against TERRORISM IN NIGERIA AND BY ALLAHS WILL WE WILL CONQUER
IN OUR UNITY WE BRING FORTH OUR STRENGHT
all agenda to disintegrate will not see the light of the day(amin)
Oh boy, keep this epistle to yourself. We only need an honest answer from you. Do the Muslim Brotherhood stands for the proliferation of sharia in govt, caliphate etc? All anti Secularism must be wipe off the face of the earth.

Shut up, Islamist! So you don't know the brotherhood is anti social and modernity? Always seeking to reverse the world to the 7th century with their dream super Caliphate State, which isn't welcome anymore in our contemporary world. Membership of the brotherhood should be a crime. Assad's father in Syria, Saddam in Iraq, Mubarak in Egypt all killed them mercilessly. Stupid animals

All the say, I like the news and I hope GEJ continue to develop the SS and SE in order to spite my people in the SW. I always ask my Yoruba brothers, of what use is Hausa/Fulani to us? Try get that, then put Niger before the Delta and check a Nigerian map. The fact remains, all states of the SS are part of the Niger Delta so the term has now become synonymous with them. Italy, France, Greece are European countries and also part of the Mediterranean belt, will you say Libya, Tunisia, Morocco are also not part of it just because they're Arabs?

Fashola has shown his hatred for IGBO as a whole by this mere action and i won't be surprised if same is extended to Christians tomorrow... Fashola should take Sharia rule to his family...
You got it totally wrong, Fashola is a moderate and not a jihadist. He just banned hijab in public some few months ago, his wife and kids are christians. So how can he be a jihadist?
PoliticsRe: Etsu Nupe Accused Of Forcefully Converting People To Islam by Elfenomeno(m): 11:37am On Jul 25, 2013
Mustafa grew up immersed in
Islamic culture and was sent to Al
Azhar school at the age of six. By the
time he was twelve years of age, he
had completely memorized the
Qur'an.[1] After graduating from Al-
Azhar University with a Master's
degree in 1990, with a graduation
thesis on The reign of the heir over
the Islamic kingdom in the period of
Ammaweya, he was subsequently
offered a position as a lecturer at the
university.[2] During his research,
which involved travel to Eastern and
Western countries, Mustafa became
more distant from Islam. In his book,
he wrote about his view of Islam
stating:
“ [I found Islam's history]
from its commencement to
date, to be filled with
violence and bloodshed
without any worthwhile
ideology or sense of decency.
I asked myself "What
religion would condone such
destruction of human life?"
Based on that, I began to see
that the Muslim people and
their leaders were
perpetrators of violence."

U said it all!

souldust: @toskarity i think you are misinformed about issues in Nigeria. Contrary to your view, most nigerians have food to eat. You probably based your point on the idea that we all live below a dolar per day. But let me let you know that in the urban centres, fewer people live below a dollar per day and in rural areas, one dollar can buy you three sqaure meals.

If we are that poor as you have claimed, why then are consumer companies making more profit here in Naija than in any other country? Dont tell me it is our population. Becos population doesnt buy comodities. It is money we use to secure goods and services

so if companies are making more profit here in Naija, then it is becos we have more people who can afford those comodities than anywhere else on the continent.
