he should stick to music. have you seen his interviews or live performances before ? you can't hear most of what he says. it makes you wonder if he is the same person that sings those hit songs. I will love to see the role he plays and how he potrays it. all na publicity stunt because we will not be talking about this movie if davido want there |
you claim you are a health worker. tell her you want to take the relationship to the next level and you need to know your genotype. you both go see a friend that owns a lab. take bloood sample and run all the test you want from hepatitis to STD. if it's positive for HIV. Give you self Hepatitis and tell her it can't work because of your condition. if she's carrying the virus and she is a sincere person. she would tell you the truth even before any test. Good luck there is no easy way out |
even though I am not happy with the decisions. the people who were against it were the provost of the institution and the academic staff. the upgrade will mean that lecturers will have to take a pay cut. A principal lecturer in a college of education earns over 450,000 naira and he doesnt have a PhD while in a university a even a Associate professor doesn't earn that. with the upgrade most of the chief lecturers would not even make senior lecturer( PhD and both journal and conference paper. while the provost would loose their seats. with the upgrade non academic staff would benefit more. in one of the colledge of education to be upgraded (FCE Zaria) they still use pen and paper to write you transcript at this day of ICT adoption they have the highest rate of exam malpractice students with low IQ because the admission requirement is 150. before converting them make a need assessment then upgrade their infrastructure and academic staff before conversation. |
I am saddened by the level of stupidity been shown on nairaland today. at a moment when we should unite beyound tribal and political and religious divide. people are here trading blames. insulting people. this is 2015 election is not due till 2019. You can not correct everything in 5 weeks. We need the DSS to step up to its duty and gather inteligience to stop this, can the president be everywhere. this problem started years ago and realistically it will take years to end. May God forgive the dead and grant them paradise. |
if buhari stops all terror attack they will say he was able to do that because he was responsible for them in the first place. those insulting the president must be crazy. stats has shown you can only stop suiside bombings with good Intel. which we don't have in this country right now. very few countries have been able to stop suiside attacks. We have to keep praying and let our department of state security service start doing their job. let's not make the loss of lifves a political issue. May their soul rest in pease. |
It's so sad that Nairaland is now a forum to spread hate, tribal and religious propaganda. A tread intended to educate has turn into tribal war zone. That's why the section I enjoy most on Nairaland is the romance and sexuality section because most times its free from religious and tribal sentiment. The funny thing I noticed from most of the comments is that the Igbos hate the yoruba's. Because yoruba ppl chose to vote for Buhari in 2015 doesn't make them the devil. Where were the haters when the Yoruba ppl voted massively for GEJ in 2011. That didn't make the Yoruba's slaves to the south in 2011. Am youruba but I don't hate any Igbo man. But I prefer to do business with a hausa man a hundred times. Because they are straight forward and trust wordy. Even my Igbo friends in the north love it here and can't cope with the lies, cunny behaviour and Dubious character of their ppl when they go back home. They see them as outsiders. An Igbo man doesn't trust his kinsman. My Igbo brothers Yoruba ppl don't hate Igbo ppl. |
Sulaiman Hunkuyi does not deserve the seat. Senator makarfi is a better leader. He secured jobs for many and helps people. His performance as a governor wa very good. The APC candidate was just lucky to have contested election on the same day as buhari. And people were scared that if they vote for PDP for senate the Nasarawa situation were if they have majority they might unseat buhari. |
Nigerians are also promoting it. The likes of Olamide in story for the God's video. Where two ladies were toughing each other in the bath. And the Naeto c's Video with BOJ and ajebutter 22. We're two ladies were making out in a Taxi with the driver watching it was directed by clearance peters. I stopped watching series like modern family coz of the way it promotes homo sexuality. I actually wanted to watch the series empire because of the hype and all but the way OP says it promotes homosexuality. Its a NO-NO for me |
Thank you OP for sharing your experience. I am about to start my PhD in one of the federal universities in Nigeria. And I'll make sure I hold on to this tips all the way. |
It's basically because of the culture. The yoruba culture is different than the hausa culture. For example In the hausa culture what the wife earns belongs to the wife alone. While in the yoruba culture the wife earns for the family. In hausa depending on how buoyant the family is the bride brings everything in the house from the matrimonial bed to T.v, fridge the groom just get an empty house she will furnish it. While in yoruba culture the groom buys everything the most yoruba brides bring is kitchen wares and utensils. There are many differences between the two. I am from Offa kwara and my brother married from Kano. And her parent didn't need any convincing it was even my parent that raised objection @ first but accepted after. Marriage between yoruba's and hausa's are on the increase. Its Fulani people that don't allow their children marry another tribe. Even if it's a hausa man. They prefer marring among their relatives. This is comming from someone who was born, bred and spent all his life in the north. |
I think ladies prefer this.

Boy for president. God forbid. I can all bow for my creator the Almighty. There are better ways to show respect than bowing. No be him fault money fit make man do anything. I am a Sean tizzle fan but I think bowing for the president was too much. |
Am always sad when I hear a young man dies before his prime. May God Grant his family the fortitude to bear the loss. May Allah forgive ur sins and admit you into paradise. |
Arsenal fans Hw market. This was suppose to be an easy ride. Disappointing result. |
It's unthinkable. But if it happens. No need to resolve violence with violence. I'll speak to my mum first then speak to my wife afterwards. Then know the cause of the problem. I don't think there is anything my mother can do to warrant a slap form my wife even if my mother slaps her first(which I know my mother wouldn't ) if the problem can be resolved and my mum forgives her she could stay after serving suspension and some punishment. If the issue on ground is irreconcilable she goes. But my mum would have the final say. Because I would never trade my mum for anything in the world. |
She made me love telenovellas. I could never get tired of seeing her role in that series. Hers beauty, the way she walks, her class and the way she caries her self. We'll miss u. |

Ask any military personnel the military needs only 24 hours to "Detail Duty" for any assignment. Election is suppose to be in 168 hours. The Nigerian Armed forces has shown the are acting a script written and directed by you know Who. |
Imagine our military cannot provide security for election they were informed about months ago. So if there was a crisis in the country they would need years to respond. We can finally see that since GEJ couldn't coarse INEC and Council of state, he has finally decided to use the armed forces to postpone the election. If security is a concern in a few local government let's postpone election there. But the president and PDP knows if elections hold on FEB 14 they will loose. I just pity all thos poor Nigerians especially students who have travelled to places they feel safe. They have to come back. |
[quote author=vinohh post=29668200]An Educated bricklayer, has finally owned up...lol [/quote. You can't call a Builder an Educated bricklayer. Let me educate u. A builder is a registered professional in the science and Technology of Building production Management and building maintenance for the use and protection of mankind. Building is not about laying blocks. A builder manages the physical production of the building with the input of all other professionals. Architectural drawing from the architect, Structural design from the structural engineer, electrical and mechanical services drawing from a building service engineer and bill of quantities from the quantity surveyors to produce the building. The Building professions has an institute called Nigerian Institute of Building and it also has a Council backed by the constitution of Nigeria act cap 45 Law of federal republic of Nigeria LFN 2004. So a builder is not an educated bricklayer |
