The appointment is subject to approval by the Kaduna State House of Assembly. she is an Alumni of Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, where she graduated in 1978 with an MSc in Architecture. Architect role is not supervison of building. His role is in design. Managing the construction is the role of a Builder or Civil Engineer who specializes in structures.

A two storey building under construction collapsed today in Unguwar kaya in Zaria. Two eye witness say 4- 8 lifeless body were removed under the rubble. Two people were rescued. A number of people are still unaccounted for.

From my investigation on site Y10 and 8 rebars were used for the slab instead of Y12. For the beam and Column Y12 were used instead of 16.
As a Builder I suggest the client and the owner should be hanged to death. It was a disaster waiting to happen.
