It is very hard for an average student in A.B.U ZARIA to successfully finish his 100 level without having carryover in any physics course. I remembered how physics 131 was tagged Dr. Zakaris name; ZAKS 131. Almost everyone in A.B.U including students from the arts and social sciences Knows the course.

MY SCORECARDS OF PRESIDENT BUHARI on the WANTON KILLINGS in ZAMFARA STATE.
I just received a bombshell yesterday that the people living in Kagara, Tsibiri, Tubali and so many villages near Galadi, my former PPA during the mandatory one year service in Zamfara State, have turned to refugees. Subhanallah! I exclaimed. You mean they are not sleeping in their homes? I queried. "Yes Malam" he answered. The devil is a liar!!
I remembered exactly 2 years, when I ran for my dear life helter-skelter. I remembered my first time of seeing the corpses of butchered and slaughtered people. I remembered how those armed bandits spent three days killing and maiming people in some villages, without reading any headline from any of the mainstream and social media, of people being killed in Zamfara state.
I remembered when my brother in the Nigerian army, called me and told me how he saw me tattered running for my dear life in Galadi village. I remembered how my friend Babagana, from Yobe state, shivered, and told me even the boko haram menace, had never put him in such despair.
It's high time we called a spade by its name. The undiluted truth is that president Buhari has scored a big F9 grade in securing the lives and properties of the people in Zamfara state. In fact, a friend of mine and a die hard supporter of PMB in one of the affected areas told me that PMB has scored less than F9 in the security of Zamfara state. The mind mind boggling fact is that this criminality continues to increase tremendously. The president and commander in chief of armed forces is treating this armed bandits with kid gloves. There is no Iota of truth that this killings are sponsored by politicians. This killings started before this administration. What baffles and irritates me the most is that PMB is quick to take decisions in Christian dominated states, as if the lives of Zamfara people are not worth protecting. What a double standard!!
May almighty Allah bring an end to this menace. Ameen.

Whoever designed the architectural masterplan of Ahmadu Bello University,Zaria was indeed a romantic designer. The planner must have been an intimate admirer of nature. The school can break you academically but has the soothing balm for you just by the side. Whoever went to ABU and didn't take away the love side of nature can never appreciate love forever.

In ABU zaria you find the most friendly camaraderie, in that place igbo language is most spoken than Hausa language, there you find the children of the rich reduced down to the level of the poor folks. No one ever carried an air of arrogance around him or her and ever lived to tell the story of nature's kindness. It was a meeting points of greatness.

In ABU zaria, a mini Nigeria was created and a sustained veins of integration put in emotion. Regardless of your biases, people were hurled together in one room. In no time, you had no option but to live the lives of yourselves. Bonds were established and affinities became so stimulating. Everyone was for all as all was for one.

Barriers were broken, prejudices abused. Intimate relationships built as people love for the sake of nature. Classes were attended together, discussions held into the nights. Life was sweet, the environment was a shelter for lovebirds.

The last place to see exchange of fist was ABU zaria, you dare not cause a rift as everyone was a product of civility. At night, Ribadu garden, Sculpture garden, Archi rooftops, Sodom and Gomorrah, Mahdi followers, Gorilla gate, Drama village were embracing abodes for lovers. Life was lived in fullest. People enjoyed unhindered intimacy. You dare not violate the rules of engagement. No cases of harassment, rape and any other misnomer. Life in ABU was paradise on earth.

You can't go to ABU and not have a friend. Friendship were cultivated and nurtured into lifetime homes. You either have an academic boyfriend or an emotional heartthrob. It was a beautiful experience. In Zaria, the only Aluta that supersede all other alutas was the emotional aluta. It was damn difficult to escape that- we are all product of emotional aluta.

Yes ABU zaria was a hub of love, peace and harmony but this bond is abruptly truncated the very moment you enter the mosque and the church! At that point, we are opposite of the above virtues. And I then wonder, what has religion done to us as a people?

The on going chairmanship and councillorship elections in Kaduna State is the best elections I've ever seen so far. After accreditation, the electronic voting machine (EVM) allows you to simply cast and print your vote simultaneously in less than 3 seconds. in fact, the polling unit I presides, the electorates were well organized. After closing the voting, the computer computes the score of each party automatically. The greatest advantage of the EVM is that it doesn't give room for invalid votes. I wish INEC will embrace the electronic voting introduced by El-Rufai.

It is just that Nigeria is a useless country if not the whole teachers and even lecturers in the North are supposed to come from the south at least for a period of 30 to 35 years. The human resources from the South should be more better than Crude Oil in the south. Sometime i wonder what will happen to the Arewa if anything should happen to the now Nigerian union.
