It is no longer a new gist as the National Identity Management Commission(NIMC) has been slammed for various occasions and Anthony Joshua getting his NIN slip the same day he got registered made it even more aggravating for Nigerians.

The Governor of Kogi, Yahaya Bello has appointed Miss Ify Iwanger as his new Aide-de-Camp (ADC).

P-Square was a Nigerian R&B duo of identical twin brothers Peter Okoye and Paul Okoye. They produced and released their albums through Square Records. Those songs gave me and my brothers joy. I remember while growing up, I used to buy P-Square CD’s and turn the speakers up to the max, then some of my neighbours will be hanging around my house just to enjoy the music that was playing through my speakers. Now they are separated, Peter (the one with the lowcut) is now called Mr P. and his brother the one with the dreadlocks is now called Rude boy.

When they were together as P-Square, their YouTube views was so high like about 75 Million views, but now that they are separated they are not doing as well as before, when you check their songs on YouTube now, you will be seeing 2 Million or 1 Million views which is less than what they were getting as a group ”P-Square”.

My opinion is that they are better as One and more profitable as a group (P-Square), I wish they could come back together and bring the name P-Square back to life and make good music for Nigerians.

Justice Jude Okeke of the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), sentenced the Director-General of the National Council for Arts and Culture (NCAC), Olusegun Runsewe, to prison.

He gave the order while ruling on a motion drawn from a suit filed by Ummakalif Limited against the Minister of the FCT; Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA); DG of NCAC, and the Minister for Culture and Tourism, as the first, second, third and fourth defendants respectively.

In the motion, the claimant sought an order of the court committing Runsewe to prison for contempt of court order made on December 15, 2017.

Justice Okeke described Runsewe’s action as contemptuous, adding that committing him to the custody of the Nigerian Correctional Services (NCS) would serve as a deterrent to others who abuse office and disobey court orders with disdain.

France’s airline Air France and Russia’s Federal Air Transport Agency known as Rosaviation, have announced the suspension of flights over Iraq and Iran’s airspace.

In a statement released by Air France on Wednesday January 8, the French airline said the suspension became necessary to ensure flight safety.


The statement read in parts;

“Flight plans are adjusted in real time according to the decisions of the French and regional authorities, throughout the world, in order to ensure the highest level of flight safety.”

Rosaviation on the other hand recommended suspension of Russia’s airlines’ flights over Iran, Iraq, the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman. It also cited “safety risks”.

The agency said;

“In connection with information about safety risks to international civil air traffic, Rosaviation recommends not to use the airspace over the territories of Iran, Iraq, the Persian and Gulf of Oman for flights of civil aircraft of the Russian Federation, including transit flights, until further notice.”

This is coming amid speculation of a Ukrainian International Airlines plane which crashed in the early hours of today, being shot dead.

From his dressing, one could say he’s on his way to the office or an important place.

He is seen at the back of the fuel tanker which was moving while he was still holding onto it tightly.

What would be his fate if the unfortunate happens either the fuel tanker catches fire or he falls in the middle of the road?

Linda Ikeji’s sister, Sandra, recently tied the knot with her sweetheart, Arinze Samuels on Saturday in Owerri.

The post didn’t go down well with an Instagram user named ‘ifeomafinegirl’ who called her out and asked her to apologize within 24 hrs or else she’s going to spill out the secrets she knows about their family too.
