It is even more disheartening when you see youths championing and supporting these vultures who are bent on feasting on their future in name of ethnicity. Whatever is bad by any standard is bad wether it is done by an ibo, Hausa or Yoruba man but in this country we see lots of youths defending atrocities because the criminal is from their tribe.
Any person who is still left with some iota of principle is seen as a misfits who cannot fit into the present scheme of things in the country.

True talk, lately I've decided to hold back my feelings no matter the situation when it comes to Nigeria youth. I sometimes wonder if we are under a spell. Even our parents who where not well educated as us were never this tribalistic. They were wiser with their choices, when I read comments by youths in platforms, I just shake my head. It's a shame, the sooner we all get wiser, the better for us all.

Abi. Nigerians have been saying "e go better" since 1914.
The" e go better" phrase is an individual thing, I'm happy to have discovered that. National, objectivecally we have lost our direction, it's only religiously that we still hold on to hope even on the wrong track.

I find it ridiculous bothering myself about Nigerian politics. It isn't structured to favour majority of us.
Honestly, it's disheartening, it's better everyone find an individual change for themselves, cos for a general positive change, even time can't state when that positive moment would come, God help us all.
Politics / The Numerical Digits That Cost Ambode 2019 Lagos State Governoship Election. by elisha90(m): 4:40pm On Oct 02, 2018
It should take every reasonable mind to wonder what the present denial of the incumbent governor of Lagos State, His excellency Akinwunmi Ambode to seek a second tenure is all about.

After wining the award of the most performing governor, after working on a stable blue prints in transforming Lagos, with legacies to recon with, it will only make a fool of our intellect if everyone decides to just assume his denial is worth it; without given enough reasons why he should not continue in his good work as a technocrats, in times like this when a country as Nigeria needs more of him.

Let us all objectivecally consider some of the reasons and see if it was worth the interest of the people and the nation at large.

Some of the reasons given so far include the sudden mismanaement of waste in Lagos State, the lack of road maintainance in other places and most of all, the lost of interest by the powers that be in Lagos. Please If there are more, help to update us.
If the above are the reasons, can we say it's justifiable? let us answer the question ourselves.

Let's consider some other factors that were not mentioned to us. Could it be that by the end of his second tenure his popularity and public acceptance within and outside his state will be too great to bemanaged by his godfathers? Is the port folio of this man becoming intimidating? what could he be considered to be his position as a technocrat from the west in the future? Is there more to this sudden hate, is all these to our interest or to the interest of the powers that has being and has predicted the future.

If we could get the answers to the above questions then we should know better.

Further to clarify more, what is one's importance in politics if you don't hold the most reputable office through out life in active politics? What will be your honour if you are known as a king maker all your life and at the peak of your career of becoming a king yourself, you are denied because you didn't foresee that one of your own creation is becoming more Preferable to you. What should be your alternative of such obvious threat? You will quickly prevent the flying bird to soon get the reputation of an eagle due to the hight it's about to attain if you don't prevent it. Simply cage the bird, promise to feed and care for it, so when that moment comes you be the only eagle in that terrain and get the power and position you feel you have being deprived of for too long.

Having said that, I believe AMBODE; just like every ordinary Nigerian yet to know what this fight is all about should now know the simple answer to the puzzle, the digits unknown to most of us is "2023". While we are busy with 2019, some folks have seen beyound it and are viewing 2023 in 3D. The number one seat of Nigeria is a fight that must began now for every foresighted politician.

Gov. Ambode must learn to accept the obvious reality that he wronged no one, but the ambition tagged on the digits 2023 is what his troubles is all about.

For we the suffering ignorant masses, we must learn to be wise with our decision and what we champion. Ambode may be gone today, but he has made a name for himself, a reputation to live with. What then is our place after all this, who, what and where are we in all these. We must stand for the interest of our country individually and not to the interest of one man or group with their own selfish interest.

God bless the good people of Lagos State.
God bless Nigerians.
God bless Nigeria.
2019 is closer than tomorrow, make a decision not for your immediate gain, but for the future.

Religion / Religion Of Peace And Of Love, A Truth With Lies Leading Us To Self-destruct by elisha90(m): 1:06am On May 21, 2017
“PEACE AND LOVE, THE TRUTH WITH LIES LEADING US TO SELF-DESTRUCT”

In as much as I hate to say this, but seeing how much we’ve all as a people have become so able in our weakness of gullibility, I could only hope that by now we are all tired of being nourished in lies, let’s all now starve in the truth, we have indeed lived on deceptions for too long, lets now die in the reality of the truth.

In the darkest of our ages, we steadfastly held unto hope to see the beauty of the light which indeed was all our hearts rhymed for, with every beat of desire for a glance of it.

Just then, from the NORTHERN hemisphere of our land, our eyes were opened to the bliss of bright ray of the light, coming with all hope, made divinely to set our lives on progress. Been of PEACE, in joy and hope we welcomed it.

From the Oceans of the south, the light came rushing, with truth justifiable by us all to unite us all, hoping for progress to prevail. The light was of “LOVE”.

TOGETHER WE WERE MADE A PEOPLE of PEACE AND LOVE, hoping for UNITY AND PROGRESS. This was the Truth.

Now, if there is any sanity within us all, then the word PEACE AND LOVE is just too basic for our understanding not to be able to comprehend. We are sure illuminated to know better

The pretense between the dual for each other is the price that we are bent to forever suffer, just for the benefit of the few that have used this as a weapon to get their selfish interest at the detriment of the populace, leading the land to self-destruct.

Before PEACE and LOVE, we all existed a people, in order to start living we accepted the strangers whom actual aim was making us better and greater nation. We must never allow the misuse of these strangers to our own self-destruct .

The lies in the truth of PEACE and LOVE is what we must do without, for we are First humans, then Nigerians, before we were told; we are of PEACE or LOVE.

We must all develop our understanding on what PEACE and LOVE stands for, make proper use of them, for the LEGENDARY NIGERIA we are and hope to always be.

LETS ALL HAIL NIGERIA, OUR OWN DEAR NATIVE LAND. THOUGH TRIBE, TONGUE, RELIGION ( PEACE AND LOVE) MAY DIFFER. IN BROTHERHOOD WE SHALL FOREVER STAND.

LETS ALL WORK TO HAND ON TO OUR CHILDREN A BANNER WITHOUT STAIN.

GOD BLESS THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA

Politics / 2019 Is Closer Than Tomarrow by elisha90(m): 12:57pm On Oct 12, 2016
"In any society where every lie enjoys justification, reality will be tears of failed truth". For a country like ours, which was created for the wise, but dominated by voluntary fools, with our decisions defining where we belong, we are now made to indulge in the believe that lies were invented for its worthiness, inhaling it each day like it's a necessity.

Now, with the progressive degradation of almost every sector in our country Nigeria, has made we d most optimist to believe and establish the fact that the aim of education is defeated with an alarming qualitative and quantitative statistic.

The reason for such is not far fetched, which is due to much dining on white lies for too long.
Education was to enlighten humanity from its dark age, as years go aging, more and more Nigerians are becoming educated with little or no sense of responsibility when it comes to rational decision making. I believe you ponder what really is aching the whole of me? Now listen.

Where is Atiku Abubakar, where is Nuhu Ribadu, where is Rabiu Kwonkwoso, Ekweremadu, David Mark, Ben Bruce, Dino, where is the Senate President, Speaker and all the Members of PDP and APC and the likes of the 36 governors that hardly ever consider the plight of the ever vibrant youths of Nigeria. Trust me, they are only projecting 2019. They care about no one.
knowing how little minded the youth are with their years of relentless education, that they will all be brainwashed with white elephant Dream future, peanut, then watch them expose their shame in market places in support of these leaders that wish nothing good for them.
Presently, they are very big issues in the state, the NYSC DEMOBILIZATION is latest among the million youth plight. do we find any of them wasting just their words on this?sure no. You wanna know why? They all projecting for 2019, they have come to understand the weakness in an average educated Nigeria.
I wish to speak reasoning into your sense of responsibility, I wish we all drink from the cups of wisdom, that almost every member of the APC AND PDP are wind of contaminated air, SCAM. If they don't care now, what will make you believe they will when they get into political offices. We must demand new leaders in this country. we should be sure overwhelmed with this visible lies by now.
I guess with all the happenings, the youths must have learned that ethical, regional and religious politics will only just preserve us in the cocoons of the dark age.
God bless our father land

Now it got me thinking, where is NANS? (National association of Nigerian students), where is the NASS? (NATIONAL ASSEMBLY). Where are the HUMAN activist, where are the political analytical Nigerian STUDENTS? Who again do u wish to make me believe are the future of tomorrow, or should I say " where are their guts"?

I was bewildered in my room with the latest development on NYSC. That budget is not enough to sponsor the batch B 2016 Corp members. And that every institution in Nigeria is allocated a maximum of 598 or more graduate to participate in the exercise this year. I tried to ignore because it seem to be a "rumor impossible" till I saw this school circular.

I'm still like wow, the fear is a reality, and all our graduates could think of doing, was to go lobbying to be among the selected few. This makes me wonder if education ever had any impact on the present generation. What happened to protest?

The youth and students are so blind, socked in the foolishness of praising politicians and fighting on cheap ethical, political or religious issues.

You are been oppressed from the day u began to seek admission to sch, to ASUU Strike, to humiliation from lecturers and now even the basic NYSC is now tuning political of "who know who affair".

Now listen, do u know what this could mean, it's a strategy.
There are no job vacancies already for the successful graduand of NYSC. the government of the day are looking for strategies to keep u at home, unemployable with the tag' u haven't got nysc certificate, so no job".. U will have no choice than to be waiting till then..

An average of 600 people from an institution, Are u kidding me? Is it a crime to be a Nigeria? No. Is it a crime to follow legal proceedings? No. But it's a crime to nature to remain a fool when u are already made wise.

NYSC MUST BE SCRAP... If the government can't manage the process as it has always been. Nigeria government should stop demoralizing the masses for their foes.

This an issue every graduate, under graduate, activist and every true Nigeria must stand against. This is not only wicked, it's evil. This is not doing evil, it's been evil....pls dearest Nigerians we must stand against this new nysc rule. #NO TO NYSC(GOVERNMENT) UNEMPLOYABLE STRATEGY.
RISE Up NANS,
RISE UP HUMAN ACTIVIST,
RISE UP NIGERIA.
GOD BLESS OUR COUNTRY

Nigeria as a country was made for the wise, dominated by fools whose wisdom have bin dominated by issues they claim to understand, but had no knowledge about. Come to think of it, illiteracy is not our problem, but knowledge applied wrongly.
Nigeria is a country best described as a state with "great dishonourable men" as leaders and the followers, men without good foresight.
They say our major problem is religion and politics, a better view will say our major problem is us(self). Until we speak on issues of national interest keeping aside our sentiment we won't move anywhere.
Today I must say, I'm a proud Nigerian, If I must be from Africa, then I should always be a Nigerian.
We must acknowledge Nigeria before our religion, our ambition And our region. We must learn to love Nigeria, we must learn to stand for its interest.
Nigeria is for the wise, let's proudly represent it with wisdom. Say no to religious sentiments, say no to ethnic sentiments, say no regional sentiments.
NIGERIA SHALL BE GREAT. GOD BLESS OUR FATHER LAND.

The Queen and the British Royal family benefited from the rape of Nigeria, as well as other parts of the world.

I do not respect that institution at all. Especially when you consider that the UK is one of those countries going around the world preaching about 'good governance' and the need for a meritocracy meanwhile they maintain a hereditary monarchy in 2015, the most archaic form of government.
