It was a week. I remember going there on a Thursday and the following day was Salah. So Wednesday the following week I got debited. Yours should be faster because there's no festival this season.
Thanks

[quote author=Beatson post=109399467]Hello,
Am for Fanshawe too, I had the same experience. To convince the school that I have initiated payment, I sent a screenshot of the form A. And for flywire, I sent a mail to them for extension.
Less busy banks makes your payment faster. I used Ecobank.

How long didn't it take to process your payment in eco bank?

Good day all,

How long should a gift deed for POF should stay in my account? My mom wants me to make a gift deed for me after I secure admission, I would like to know, can I apply immediately after the gift deed is done?

I am trying to avoid another refusal. Thanks
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by Elixosodi(f): 9:50pm On Oct 18, 2021
Good day all,
My mom wants to pay my POF into my account as gift deeds, I would like to know, how long should the gift deed be sitting in my account? She said she would pay in the money as soon as I get an admission that it only makes sense that way that there should be a reason to gift so much money. So I would like to know, how long should that money be in my account b4 applying?

My previous application was refused so I want to do things differently which includes paying my one-year tuition fee.

Thank you as I look forward to your responses

Hello everyone,

I have questions to ask concerning my letter of explanation. I did my first application 24th of May 2021 and I got a refusal on September 15, 2021. The reason for my refusal is POF. However, I have been able to sort the POF issue.

My question, therefore, is when I am writing my letter of explanation, is it the reason for my refusal I will be addressing alone?

Secondly, I am changing my DLI from Saint Paul University to Memorial University also I am changing my course as well from M.A in Public Ethics to M.A in Education. However, both courses I chose due to the nature of my job which is teaching. I would like to know, do I have to explain the reason for the switch in my LOE or I should just state it and not explaining the reason for the switch.

Thank you as I await your response.

Hmmm, that's the issue. You need liquid cash. The VOs know what they are doing.

Okay I will.

Do you have liquid cash in your account? All I saw I your notes is insurance (which is true you don't have access to) and investment which is not liquid.

No, I don't because when I have a substantial amount I insure it so I don't spend any how.

Bobomaigida:

Please what kind of letters where you given for the insurance and investment, did it specify that you can access the funds at anytime?
Then did you reference this in your SOP?

I didn't state it in my SOP I just told them my sponsor ( mom) and attached the document.

If it’s not a pension account, aiico and lead way are not banks.

They are just insurance investments which I can liquidate anytime.

My mom is my sole sponsor.

RollyA:
It’s clear. I wouldn’t worry much. But whatever you do, don’t liquidate your investment, if you have to, liquidate the amount for tuition into another account and cos it’s another war if you liquidate and reapply, they will call it lump sum. If you are lucky a good visa officer will understand, if not, another unmerited denial. So the second question, what financial institution did you use?

What also struck my eye is the pension thing, did you present your whole pension as spendable, if you did then that’s not true. Have your PFA do a letter stating that 25 percent will be available 3 months after, I always advise that have your main money and let your pension be an addition.

I used AIICO and Leadway. No Pension document.

These are the generic reasons, check your notes for any other notes

Nothing is there.

This is not the main reason. Look for where they wrote, "... it is for these reasons I have refused the application." It doesn't have to be the exact words but something similar.

No other reason. I have checked. Nothing again.

Out of 41 pages, IRCC feels my refusal ground is 1 reason.

We move all the same.

My gscm note looking like undergraduate project. This is just three pages of almost ten with nothing reasonable in it.

Good day house, so my gscm note came back today looking like undergraduate project work with no sufficient reason while I was rejected which is fund and assets. Pls take a look and explain to me. Thanks

Good day, Nairalander,

I was rejected on the 15th of September, the reason is financial status and assets.

However, I saw an opening at Cape Breton University for MBA. I have few questions concerning this

1. My degree is B. A in English language does it affect my chances in MBA? However, in my current job, I am a sales rep and also I do have a business I run.

2. In my previous application, the course of study is public ethics does it affect my current application?

3. Reapply soon for a school would it look desperate or I should chill for the next fall? My gscm note is yet to arrive, I won't apply yet until I see my note and what it says but I was thinking to secure admission.

The bolded does not fly and possibly the reason for the VO's denial reason.. insurance money isnt guaranteed money or accessible till its paid

It's a yearly payment, and in the certification, it states that I can withdraw anytime I want to make use of it.

Since the gscm not I applied for before the rejection is yet to come out, do I still need to apply for another?

Who was your sponsor
How much was in the account

How much was in it?
Were there lump sums?
if yes, was there any document like gift deed or pay slips or sales invoice to prove the amounts
1. My mom and bro as co- sponsor
2. My mom used her insurance which is 7m and my bro 3m
3. Yes I have about 1m in my own account
4. No, Insurance certification
5. No gift deed, no payslip or invoice.

...and my rejection later came in this morning.

Saying I am not satisfied you will live Canada after your studies due to assets and financial status.

My gcsm note is yet to arrive when it gets here, I will understand the English they are speaking and then refire.
