It was reported after a Man was seen crying after he was caught red-handed stealing chickens from a chicken farm.

According to the owner of the chicken farm he said they lost over 250 birds within a month and didn't understand what was happening. Until a co-worker gave information that led them to believe a staff named Bamidele had been sneaking into the chicken coop at night.

A Nigerian Man identified as Anthony Oregon has died after he was bitten by a poisonous snake as his friends claimed that it was sent by someone.

According to Shadrack Okpomhe, someone called the deceased to inform him that pigs were feeding on his crops.

However, on getting to his farm, he saw a snake instead. He immediately tried to go back but the snake flew at him and bit him on the leg. Although Tony managed to kill the snake, he didn't survive the poisonous bite.

It was reported that Anthony was laid to rest on May 26, after a funeral mass at Saint Philomena Catholic Church in Edo State.

"Someone called him to inform him about his crops been eaten by pigs, and getting to the farm that evening just a stone throw from the house , he saw the giant snake and immediately went back, according to him, the snake flew towards him and he got bitten, he was brave enough to kill the same snake but could not survive it," Shadrack narrated.

A suspected burglar who pretends to be a ghost to rob houses has been arrested by the Zimbabwe Police.

According to a Zimbawean Facebook user, General Chiwenga Wisdom, who posted the photos on Thursday, May 26, he stated that the suspect specialises in breaking into houses during the night wearing a skeleton costume and pretending to a ghost.

According to him, whenever the house owners see the 'ghost' they flee leaving him behind to cart away their valuables.

Popular Nollywood actress, Ify Onwuemene is dead, It was reported that She died of cancer.

It was gathered that the actress, who died on Tuesday, had been battling endometrial cancer.

Her colleague in the film industry, Gloria Anozie-Young, broke the news of her death via her Facebook page. writing:


“With a deep sense of loss but total submission to God Almighty, we regret to announce that IFEY ONWUEMENE has gone to be with the Lord.
“IFEY ONWUEME was diagnosed with endometrial cancer. Her womb was removed, but she has been battling the ailment for many years now.
“In 2019, even after eight sessions of chemotherapy, the doctors told her she had reached stage 4. However, we are not sure if she was given the wrong diagnosis or being treated with the wrong chemo, because she still felt pains on her upper abdomen and her tummy bloated.
“Ify spent more than N10m, being helped with donations by her fellow actors and other Nigerians. A GoFundme account was opened for her, but it did not yield much. She had to go for draining every two weeks at a cost of N280,000, but only 3 litres of liquid can be removed at a time so that her heart is not affected.
“IFEY has finally gone to rest, today 25th May 2021. May her soul rest in perfect peace. Amen.”

Anambra state governor, Willie Obiano has stated that he is the only Nigerian governor who does not receive a monthly salary in the country.


The governor explained that after his tax has been deducted from his salary, he sends the remaining balance to homes of destitute for their upkeep, adding that he has been rendering self-service for the state.

He made the disclosure at his country home, Aguleri, Anambra East Local Government Area of Anambra State shortly after inspecting the Anambra International Passenger and Cargo Airport at Umueri.

The governor who also described himself as “a man of classical quality,” said the airport was built with the best of facilities as can be obtained in any international airport of repute.

Earlier during the inspection, the state Commissioner for Works, Engr. Marcel Ifejiofor, who conducted the governor and his entourage round the airport facilities said the international airport is Class 4F which can take any aircraft.

While talking, he said; “The orientation is that the aeroplane can land at either side of the runway. That was what happened on April 30th, 2021, when we did the test flight, one landed on 024 and the other one landed on 06. This airport has two Runway Air Safety Areas, RASA. This is the only airport in Nigeria with this type of RASA. It has category two light which means that the airplane can land at the worst of any weather in this airport.

“It also has satellite facilities which mean that if the light is not working, aircraft can land with the satellite facilities. So with what we have on this airport, it would be difficult to have a cancelled flight.
“It is the only airport in Nigeria with this type of satellite facilities. This is the only airport in Nigeria that is current with the Friction Test. Before the airplane landed on the 30th, we carried out the test and got 0.79 which is the highest so far in this country. The height of the Control Tower is 34.5.”

A Nigerian fashion designer, Identified as Tinuade Soile took to social media to narrate all she went through before she gave birth after 9 years of waiting.

According to the new mum said she had to undergo 9 IVFs and suffered 3 miscarriages while trying to become a mum. She also had a fibroid surgery.

While pregnant with her son, she had to undergo a cervical stitch, which is a treatment for cervical weakness, when the cervix starts to shorten and open too early during a pregnancy causing either a late miscarriage or preterm birth.

She was also placed on 5 months of bed rest until the stitch was removed a week to the birth of her son.

On May 13, she welcomed her first child and he has been named Asher Modadeola Oluwaseun Soile.

An 8-year-old girl identified as Mary was rescued in Akwa Ibom from her father who assaulted her with sticks and machetes after a pastor told her father that she is the cause of his Blindness.

Mary was rescued by Pastor Okon John, a volunteer with the Child’s Rehabilitation Network (CRARN) in Eket.


While narrating what happened, Mary said;

“My father used to beat me with sticks and machetes with the help of my elder brother, Faith (aka AY); because our Bishop said I was the cause of his blindness. He pressed my neck on the ground asking me to confess or he’d kill me,”

Former BBNaija star, Alex Unusual has made an announcement to lagos state government that she is going to flog children who forcefully wash people’s car in traffic.

In a Twitter post Alex made on May 19, the reality star said these children often “leave the foam or scratch the cars when you don’t have cash to give.”
