A Vendor on Twitter has called out Instagram Influencer Susan Pwajok for owing sum of N90,000 and refusing to pay.

The Twitter user who is Identified as Oluwaremilekun stated that the actress has been owing him the money since June and she has refused to pick up her calls nor reply to his texts.

In the screenshot the vendor shared, It is seen that the actress ordered for a powerbank as she needed it for her phone. She further asked if she could pay Twice as she complete the money in two weeks which the vendor agreed too.

Two weeks elapsed the actress Unfollowed him on Instagram, she refused to pick up all his calls and declining to reply to his messages.

A Nigerian man identified as Gift Kenneth has been sentenced to Jail for Defrauding an American woman Lucinda Ann Garnes Henrichson, of around $902,935.

It was reported that Kenneth was sentenced for internet fraud-related offences by Justice FA Olubanjo of the Federal High Court, Asaba, Delta State, on Thursday.

A statement by Wilson Uwujaren, Head, Media and Publicity, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), said Kenneth was jailed alongside his mother, Dora Animam, and his girlfriend, Spice Chimzi Dandy Igwe.

Animam and Igwe were arraigned on one count each by the Benin Zonal Office of the anti-graft commission for offences bordering on impersonation and obtaining by false pretence.

Kenneth, who disguised as one Raymond Carl Eric, was said to have, in 2018 and 2019, in Agbor lied to Henrichson of Texas, United States of America, about an infrastructural investment project, leading to the transfer of the money through various channels – Shuaibu Abdullahi and Dora Animam’s bank accounts.

His offences are said to be contrary to Section 22 (2)(b)(ii) of the Cybercrime (Prohibition and Prevention, Etc ) Act 2015 and punishable under section 22 (2)(b)(IV) of the same Act.

Animam, on her own side, was said to have received the money with her Diamond and Access bank accounts. She was said to have received $166,000 from Henrichson and N27 million from Abdullahi, committing an offence contrary to section 27(1)(b) and 22(2)(b)(ii) of the Cybercrime ( Prohibition Prevention, Etc) Act ,2015 and punishable under section 22 (2)(b)(IV) of the same Act.

Upon arraignment, they all pleaded guilty to the charge.

In view of their pleas, prosecution counsel, Francis. A. Jirbo prayed the court to convict and sentence the defendants accordingly.

Justice Olubanjo convicted and sentenced both Gift Kenneth and his mother, Dora Animam to five years imprisonment or a fine of N3 million each while Spice Chimzi Dandy Igwe was sentenced to two years imprisonment or a fine of N100,000.

A Mercedes Benz CL250, Mercedes Benz 300, iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone XX Max, Apple MacBook Pro, two Apple Mac books were recovered from Kenneth.

Also, a twin four-bedroom uncompleted duplex in Asaba was recovered as well as the sum of N4 million were recovered.

Henrichson was also refunded the sum of $4,255, recovered from Kenneth’s contractor, through the US Embassy.

A Thief has gone viral at Binduri, Ghana after he stole a bag of Maize as it refused to come down from his head.

However, police sources and the local authorities in the Binduri district stated that the incident did not happen in the Region.

According to the Public Affairs of the Upper East Regional Police Command, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) David Fianko-Okyere stated that he did his search and the Investigation reveals that the Incident did not happen in the Region.

The Binduri District Chief Executive, Mr Ayinga Abagre Yakubu on his part said he has followed up on the issue but nothing suggested that it happened in the district.

He however explained that when an individual in the area who claimed he posted the picture on the WhatsApp platform was questioned he said he also copied it from another platform.

Mr Yakubu further indicated that when he made further enquiries it turned out that the incident happened somewhere in Zimbabwe and not in Binduri as the viral picture sought to portray.

A Nigerian lady, Identified as Omolola Okunlola has been awarded as Babcock University’s Overall best graduating student 2020/2021 session.

Omolola Okunlola graduated with a CGPA of 4.91 in Mass Communication (Public Relations and Advertising).

While she shared her story, she disclosed that she felt she was going to finish with a second class.

Omolola finished with a 4.90 CGPA in her first semester results, but deep down, she battled with anxiety as she was afraid she would be unable to maintain it.

While sharing her Story, She wrote;

On June 27th, I graduated as the overall best student of Babcock University with a CGPA of 4.91.
Course: Mass Communication (Public Relations and Advertising).
Going into university, I thought that I’d at most come out with second class. I remember calculating my GPA during my first semester in Babcock. I was like whatever happens will happen.
The results came out and I started with a first class (4.909 to be exact). I was elated but I was also riddled with anxiety. ‘What if I can’t maintain this? This is too high. Everyone is looking at me now’. I would smile to everyone saying congrats but deep down I was afraid.
But God is the faithful one, and he proved himself in ways I didn’t think possible. I didn’t think I’d be the overall best but I put in work and it paid off. The Police in Nansana municipality, Uganda have arrested 44 people gays during a gay Traditional wedding in Uganda.

According to the Spokesperson for the Kampala Metropolitan Police, Luke Owoyesigyire, who disclosed this in a statement on Monday, May 31, said police received an Information about a group of men suspected to be homosexuals conducting a wedding in 780 zone, Ochen ward in Nansana municipality.

"At the same functions gifts were recovered, these included suitcases, a tv, assorted gifts like sugar, salt, pineapples and many other gifts normally given at traditional functions.” he added.

A Kenyan woman, Identified as Elizabeth Nalem has shocked her countrymen by ending her 20-year-marriage to “marry” the Holy Spirit.
