Armed thugs on Thursday unleashed terror on journalists and residents of Leme, Abeokuta, Ogun State, when they invaded the state secretariat of the All Progressives Congress.
The suspected thugs had invaded the APC secretariat around 10.30am to stop a meeting of the members of the APC Harmonisation Committee scheduled to hold at the party secretariat.
The rampaging thugs snatched cameras belonging to the correspondents of the Galaxy Television and MITV, Kunle Ojo and Taofeek Lawal, respectively.
The suspected thugs, armed with various weapons, also snatched BlackBerry phones belonging to the correspondent of the Radio Nigeria/Paramount FM, Mrs. Modupe Sobukola.
They also manhandled other journalists, including the state Correspondent of the Tribune, Olayinka Olukoya, with the aid of soldiers and policemen deployed in the APC secretariat.
The security agents held the journalists, while the thugs harrassed them and snatched their cameras and phones.
Scores of residents of the area were also injured by the thugs who attacked them.
Several cars at a dealer’s shop near the APC state secretariat were vandalised by the thugs.
While addressing Journalists at the Iwe Irohin House, Senator Gbenga Kaka, who was flanked by Senators Akin Odunsi (Ogun West) and Gbenga Obadara (Ogun Central), as well as members of the House of Representatives from the state, announced the composition of the membership of the newly elected Interim State Executive of the party with himself as the secretary.
The senator representing Ogun East added that the governor was to nominate the chairman of the Interim State Executive.
Kaka expressed regret that some members of the party had usurped the functions of the yet-to-be inaugurated harmonisation committee by parading themselves as officers of the party.

10years older than i am [In his 30's + single]...He travelled to Lagos some years ago..After abandoning his job as a computer expert and with stubborness, he left..

Not knowing what happened at Lagos for three years [for neither did he call nor flash], we were surprised when we received a call [ unknown ] telling us he has been found..

Excited we were not knowing what has happened to him..WITH HIS BEARD GROWING LIKE THAT OF OSAMA'S, DIRTY TORN CLOTHES AND SKIN, IT WAS CLEARER TO US THAT HIS MIND HAS BEEN BEWITCHED..Same thing as being a mental patient..

We took him home and did the normal and left him to rest..Then the rest of us gathered pondering about the situation..

We decided to admit him into the hospital for medication..This happened for some months..And some changes were experienced..But not after long, he started his usual;
SPITS LIKE HE'S PREGNANT, TALKS TO IMAGINARY CREATURES [ALIYU AND ALMIGHTY], GETS ANGRY WHILE TALKING TO HIMSELF, REFUSED TO HAVE HIS BATH, STOPPED BRUSHING HIS TEETH AND TAKING CARE OF HIS HAIR, DRESSES IN SILLY FORMS, WAKES UP AT NIGHTS TO MAKE NOISES, ETC

This was after months of heavy spending on drugs..No matter how we tried to make sure he gets back to his senses, our efforts seemed effortless..

HOW IT STARTED [My presumption]

Initially before his departure, he was so fascinated about his YAHOO ACCOUNT.. Zealous about leaving the country..He'd spend hours in front of the computer..What he was doing? Damn mysterious.. Soon after he came after departure, he always talks about logging into his yahoo account..What i'm trying to say is that, i think he has gotten in contact with yahoo boys who actually used him and dumped him with madness..

That not withstanding, we've tried a lot but it seems useless even after prayers..
