Religion / Re: What Motivates You To Worship God??? by elsirich: 8:34pm On Sep 23, 2012
Because He is the only true and faithful God, full of grace, mercy , love and compassion. He is all deserving of our worship and if we don't as humans,He will raise stones or even create something else to worship Him.But truely He deserves our best worship, praise and adoration. God is awesome!

@poster, u just open ur mouth and u start vomitting rubbish. If u don't have anything to say can't you just read other posts and get out the the blog or the the people buying it with ur money or complaining to you?
Honestly u just acted like a low life, God forsaken, frustrated and if am not mistaken cursed individual , who can not see beyond the point where u are presently.
Learn to keep quiet if u don't have anything reasonable to say.

Family / Re: Crazy Things You Did As A Kid by elsirich: 5:09pm On Apr 12, 2010
Honestly this thread is very funny, very interesting stories,  been laughing since I started reading.
My growing up was great, had a very jovial and understanding but very strict parents who will still whip you when you trespass while laughing and playing with you.  My mum was a  no go area for me because things usually didn't go down well between us, guess I liked my dad more than I did like her then.
I remembered growing up one day my dad traveled, I didn,t know because it was kind of an emergency business he had to take and i didn't know. I came back from school and my mum asked me to wash the dishes when we finish eating lunch, and because of it I didn't eat the lunch with them and was like  i have an aunty and an elder sister who does that why would she suddenly start asking me to wash the dishes. So she went to the market and told them not to do it , that i must do it (Notice, then, we  usually do not agree with each other, she calls me my dad's second wife). Anyways, I didn't do it and did not have lunch with them that day and went to our neighbours  apartment met the house help washing the dishes and had so many other things to do and felt pity for her and was helping her out when my mum came back sent for and when i  got to her and she asked why i didn't do the dishes my reply was that  am i was busy helping the our neighbours house help because she has so much to do and that we have so many people in the houst that can wash our dishes and besides my daddy does not know that she asked me to wash the dishes and i went on and on. boy before i could finish my mum just went out of the kitchen to her room to get the cain and before you know it i was in the visitors toilet, locked myself inside and decided to stay there until my father comes because i will be the first person he will ask after when he comes back but didn,t know he travelled. This happened on a friday and i spent the whole weekend in the toilet, by the second day, everyone in the house was including my mum was begging me to come out and i refused cause i was afraid my mum was still going to beat me and my dad wasn't around to stop and she was afraid that i hadn't eaten all through  not knowing that not knowing that my elder brother comes to tell me when she's out of the house and gives me biscuit to eat. though it was terrible but  i did because i hate being beaten especially by my mum. And when my dad came back on the monday morning and had what happened because he was the one that came to call me out that place, every single being in the house that day had it hot, it was really terrible and whenever i remember am always like what came over me.

Family / Re: My Husband And I Tested Hiv Positive Please Help by elsirich: 3:51pm On Apr 08, 2009
@poster,

HIV is not a death sentence and i will suggest you listen to Kingville and go to the healing school of Christembassy and have pastor Chris pray for you and your husband whenever there is a healing session. You can go to any of the branches if you reside in Lagos or you log to there website @ www.healingschool.org or you go to www.enterthehealingschool.org i can tell you this because i have witnessed great miracles and have seen living testimonies yours is not going to be  different if you have faith.

Note: what they do at the healing school is to motivate the students to expectant and ready to receive their miracles when the man of God comes to pray for them. This means that they help them build their faith and teach them what miracle is all about.I can tell you, if you and your hubby haveand put your  faith to work, your testimony is definitely sure.

God bless you
Family / Re: Is Childbirth Really The Most Painful Thing Or Is It Exaggerated? by elsirich: 5:35pm On Apr 01, 2009
@poster thanks for the topic.

It is a very interesting topic and educative for future mothers.
I think it is one of the painful experience a woman have to go through,but like other mothers the joy is in having the baby well and alive cos some still gothrough the pain and end up looseing the baby.I think that those of us who have gone through the pain should try as much as possible not overemphasize or (over exaggerate) in other not to scare the future mothers from getting pregnant cos if i had read this before i don't think i would have agreed with my husband in making babies. I guess we should encourage the pregnant women and yet to be mothers to having babies and also share with them the positive side of it cos in as much we go through pains, we dont go through it for the complete 9months.
You know when i was pregnant with my first child, i remember how sad i was cos i wasn't ready for it. But thank God my elder sister and my sisters inlaw where always there telling me what to do and what not to do together with my hubby's love and care i was able to pull through not. I don't think i experienced as much pain as its being painted here.

During my days of pregnancy, i enrolled in a gym house and with my hubby's support i was always going for the exercise classes even when i fill tired he will always trick me into going somehow.Always going to the hospital with me for anti-natas and when it seems like am forgetting something he will always remember, it was as if he was more interested in the baby than i was.Takes me out and makes sure i was never lonely even in the office i felt pampered by both senior and junior colleagues.
I was always keeping myself busy with my house chores-we divided it between ourselves cos i didn't want a househelp cos it would have made me lazy.With all these during my pregnancy i was able to give birth without much pain cos i was strong and very active. My first child is a boy and i only laboured for 2hrs 30mins and the second are my two beautiful girls and i spent about 5 hrs in the labour room and it was all a natural birth,no pain relief and my husband witnessed the two.

Family / Re: Joint Account With My Spouse? by elsirich: 3:39pm On Aug 29, 2007
I think the best approach is for both parties (married couples) to have both account (joint and individual account depending on how much they both earn).
Joint=50 % of individual salary,goes in there for basically for the upkeep of the family, paying of bills and going into investment if the family wishes to.
Individual=50% for personel purpose to avoid unwanted questions from each other and stuffs like that."It also take maturity and diplomacy for two married individual to live happily even as a family".
