He should have negotiated with a proper 21 year old in the trenches to donate a kidney for a pathway to japa and say 25 million Naira, which is one weekend allowance as Nigerian senator. Many young people would have jumped on this offer. Forging international passport is criminal and it says a lot about the real intentions. It will be difficult for Ike Ekweremadu and wife to escape this completely even if the boy's parents signed any agreement.

Two things:
1. We Nigerians take a lot for granted and having money or connections doesn't help our tendency for impunity.
2. This case says a lot about how politicians would sacrifice lives without batting eyelids for self-preservation.

Getting PVC is a small challenge to voter apathy..



Will the citizens ready to sacrifice their convenience and travel to where their polling unit is on election Day

Are they ready to book an hotel near their polling unit, in case they have relocated to another city, just to be able to vote on Election day

Are dey ready to queue and not complain, either rainy or sunny on election Day, just to cast their ballot

Won't they say, they can't do any of the above, afterall their votes doesn't count, or politicians are the same syndrome

That's the big issue we need to address...Not even GET YOUR PVC.

There is enough PVC, with many millions uncollected...Voters turnout usually around 20-25% ...That's the bigger issue!!!

But boys should also note that this PVC is not instant o.

When I did mine some years ago, you get a slip then after months they call you to get the TVC or temporary VC. Then after few more months the PVC will be ready.
I think these delay are for control purposes and security features on the PVC, otherwise you will start seeing PVCs on Jumia courtesy of ourselves or like we like to deceive ourselves, we say our politicians.

So guys let's not allow the euphoria and frenzy of the moment get into us and destroy the fragile system INEC is managing.

I was at home last Friday when my elder called me to ask if i am interested in teaching, to which i answered yes. She then said i should come to the school right away to see the proprietor and the principal.

The principal during our parley told me that he had gotten a lecturing job and they are looking for his replacement. Wooow!

He asked if i have taught before and about my experience. I told him i have 9yrs experience. U couldnt believe what he said next.

he told me congratulations Mr. Principal straigth forward! That Was how i got a job o! The school has a population of 822. So it's quite a big school.

i am in my new office already. I pray God will help those that are also job hunting. Help me celebrate pls. I am not there yet, but i pray this will be a stepping stone for me.
