Sometimes it feels like there's no government in Nigeria at all. How some people see this as something to joke about is beyond me. In other places people will be on the streets asking for the government to do something about this disgusting and wicked practices. |
Politics › Re: Is Tinubu Actually A "Terrible President" ? (Photos) by ElSudani: 2:54pm On Mar 18, 2025 |
Tinubu is absolutely not a terrible president. Like other presidents before him he is being held accountable for the failures of the states to care about their citizens.
Decentralization is the only solution, nothing and no one is going to develop Nigeria until we go back to the constitution we negotiated with the British. While some are investing in education, Healthcare and infrastructure some will tell you these are not important. Let each region take care of their own problems. |

madridguy: Ushie Rita Uguamaye was blind-folded, was in coma all this while, it was after she bribed her way to Lagos for NYSC she suddenly wake up from the coma.
She is not calling out the Cross-River State government that killed her father but she's now forming bragado in Lagos State. Can you imagine the bullshit? She had nothing to say about the cross river government that had something to do do with her problems but went on to attack Lagos and Tinubu. Please bring back regionalism. |

TopBanter: God bless you Baba. The poster you responded to is nothing but a "pata obinrin" i.e a slavish supporter of women, especially pretty ones, to the extent they can do no wrong in his eyes.
I can never have his sort as a friend, associate or employee. God forbid.
You explained things so well, no other needs to add much else. She is clearly in the wrong and we have seen those who always overstep boundaries, wondering into the arena of illegality, like Eze of Ajao Estate, to deride, threaten and demonize Lagos.
A Lagos that is, as you stated, the best administered and most cosmopolitan State to live in of all States in Nigeria and despite a population burden of 23 million (10% of the total population of Nigeria in her smallest state ) swollen majorly by non-indigenes.
You observation about cost of her weekly data usage is top-notch also. A corper claiming to spend 20k a week on data is an indicator of her suspect lifestyle, than anything else, when a businessman like myself, constantly online because of need to run e-marketing strategies, spends no more than 10k a week max sourcing data.
We are simply dealing with the latent hatred of Lagos, the SW and Yorubas some have been indoctrinated with from birth. Her illegal actions, breaching NYSC provision, and illogical talk all point to that reality. Regionalism is the best solution the problem, corpers should also serve in their own region. Let Rita worry about Ebonyi or wherever she came from. |

Politics › Re: Dangote Refinery Begins Production Of Polypropylene (Pictures, Video) by ElSudani: 10:24pm On Mar 08, 2025 |
DeLaRue: Very good development.
For those who care to know, this is what most of the plastics you see around you is made off.
Nigeria used to import a lot of it from South Korea. Imports of this item will likely now stop. This is a big shot in the arm for Nigeria's industrialisation aspirations.
A refinery as big as Dangote's is more than just petrol and diesel. It is a game changer in ways that many have not realised.
I understand that tar is about 3% to 4% of the byproducts of a big refinery.
Imagine if Dangote refinery starts producing tar, which Nigeria spends tens of billions importing every year. That will be a major milestone in the history of road construction in Nigeria.
I can't wait! Spot on. |

ToyinDipo: Seems you have correct information about what happened, that’s why you claimed he was nearly killed. That fool was a coward, I have heard about Nigerian women who stood up to soldiers with guns. You don’t even know why Remi had to escort them to his house, that’s why you are asking me if the soldiers were not aware of Akintola’s address.
If your source of information is people like Babangida then you are right once again, I don't want to know. A soldier terrorizing a harmless civilian with a gun is the coward in my own opinion. |

ToyinDipo: Remi fani Kayode was never nearly killed. It was that coward who without any fight, led Ndubuisi and co to Akintola’s house on that night for slaughter. Right, I guess Ndubuisi came with a bouquet of flowers and not machine guns. Not only that, so these folks planned a coup for at least two years and they didn't know where to find their targets? |
