PoliticsRe: There Was An Election In Rivers State. by Elvis295(op): 10:50am On Sep 12, 2015
Demdem:
Op, go to the tribunal and be one of WIkes witnesses.
The bottom line is there was no election in vast majority of places. I also tried voting but I couldn't because wikes thugs chased us away.
you are a liar from the pit of APC. where I voted APC also voted. At the end APC got 5 votes while PDP got 331, PPL got 2. In assembly APC got 13 and PDP got 334.
PoliticsThere Was An Election In Rivers State. by Elvis295(op): 10:14pm On Sep 11, 2015
It baffles me when APC say there was no election in Rivers state. There was an election for the record's sake. I partook in the election. I voted. Even Dakuku Peterside the APC guber candidate was sighted voting. In fact APC won a house of assembly seat in Eleme local government. APC won the governorship votes in Opobo LGA. What then is their problem? Why can't they just accept defeat? Must they win all state? Specifically, I am from Akuku-Toru LGA. There was an election in my LGA. I did not hear any gun shot. Nobody snatched ballot box. Election also took place in Degema LGA, a neighboring LGA to mine.
PoliticsNullification Of Rivers Election Will Be The Beginning Of Nigeria's Separation by Elvis295(op): 12:01pm On Sep 09, 2015
One big mistake this APC government will make is to fuel the nullification of River State election. I say this with facts. The last election was very bloody. Both the PDP and APC had a gun battle in the election. In Buguma, some APC thugs set ablaze INEC office which led to the death of one corp member. No one is talking about this. There were lots of killings from both sides of the camp. Imagine that the election was nullified. The people in Rivers are mainly pro-PDP. I know APC would want to get power at all cost. This is where the battle line will be drawn. If you people think I am just blabbing wait until the end of the tribunal. Buhari should steer clear of Rivers else it will be the beginning of the fall of his government. Rivers people are not push-overs. Rivers people are resilient people that will never accept tyranny.

It wasn't always like this. Since Seun put up one anonymity super-controlling attitude the rubbish spiked. And he gave ultimate power to mods that you can't even correct without a ban.

Imagine a topic like: this girl thinks she has the thinnest waist making fp?! And the funny thing is the picture was just snipped off someone's profile and a story made up on it.
i am glad dat u got my point. tanks. its so irritating wen i see tons like dat making FP.
PoliticsI Am Tired Of Seeing Irrelevant Issues Making Front Page. by Elvis295(op):
i am sick and tired of seeing irrelevant issues making front page. stupid jokes, PMB this and that, rubbish articles and sourceless news. this is why rich people don't follow nairaland. Much as everyone is free to post anything, I still believe that the front page should not be treated with levity. This is because we have visitors who come in just to read something nice. When this first time visitors come in and see rubbish they won't like to visit the again. this piece is directed to who ever that is in charge of front page. Please be reasonable enough to post stories of international standard to the public. Thanks.

PoliticsRe: Public Office Holders Cutting Salaries Are Hypocritical. - ELVIS SONNY by Elvis295(op): 1:56pm On Jul 12, 2015
the citizens are not helping matters. why do people applaud trivial tins like slashing salaries. There is no Governor in Nigeria dat does not make one billion for himself every month. its very easy. sometimes they will decide not to pay a particular agency for one month and all dat money go to dia pocket. other times they decide to award a project and deliberately abandons it. and no one will do dem anytin. u ppl shud start finkin like human beings for once.

You forgot to mention the money from the NLNG has been diverted for years.....
APC will make u run insane someday. Diverted to where? how? explain. Who diverted it? Illiterate government and gullible followers.
PoliticsRe: Buhari Did Not Bail States Out: It Was A Debt Recovered From NLNG. by Elvis295(op): 1:32pm On Jul 12, 2015
Leopantro:
So was it the state government that authorized NLNG to give them the money or was the money paid to the federal government who then authorized the money to be given to the states. Or those NLNG have the authorization to now pay state governments? Could it be that the money from NLNG never got to the federal government but was diverted to the state government?

Define bailout.
Since your intelligence is questionable, let me help you.

Definition of
bailout
The provision of financial help or
liquidity to a corporation that otherwise would be on the brink of failure or
bankruptcy .

For example, Chrysler, a large U.S. automaker was in need of a bailout in the early 1980s. The U.S. government stepped in and offered roughly $1.2 billion to the failing company. Chrysler was able to pay the entire bailout back, and is currently a profitable firm.
maybe Buhari should have decided to keep the money in his personal account. since u are too gullible to understand a simple explanation.
PoliticsBuhari Did Not Bail States Out: It Was A Debt Recovered From NLNG. by Elvis295(op):
APC should stop spreading falsehood. Buhari did not bail out States. the money was from NLNG. It was just an accumulated debt they owe the Federal government. So when the money finally came the federal government had to immediately share it to the three tiers of government. The Governors ( mostly APC) were very happy because it will help them to pay workers. So all those gullible nairalanders be aware. that is all.

temitemi1:
Cutting salaries is not enough, they should cut their allowances too cool cool cool
even if they cut their allowances (which some of dem also did) is still hypocritical. one contract is enough to fetch them billions in one day. imagine a contract of 5billion to renovate a government building. at the end of the day only 1 billion is utilised.

PoliticsPublic Office Holders Cutting Salaries Are Hypocritical. - ELVIS SONNY by Elvis295(op):
These politicians have devised a new means of looting the treasury of Nigeria. They said they are cutting salaries by 50%. The question is how much is the salary they are cutting? Nigerians don't be deceived. They steal billions and cut a salary of 1 million and you are clapping for them . All they need to do is just inflate a contract and make their billions there .

PoliticsYou May Not Agree With Me But Buhari Is A SetBack To Nigeria. by Elvis295(op):
This man has nothing to offer. He does not even understand how democracy works. He is incompetent and has no goal. He does not have any positive plan. There is nothing to show that there is hope for the future. He talks of tackling corruption but he is walking around with corrupt people. He won his election on the 28 of march and 3 months after he is yet to fully establish his plan. Again, this man is old; he does not understand what the new generation feels. Everything seems like we are in 1964. I pity Nigeria.
Christianity EtcI Think Christians In The Core North Should Stop Attending Church For Now. by Elvis295(op): 11:30am On Jul 12, 2015
Recently, the church is under serious attack from Islam. Christians should desist from church service for now. They should think of how to retaliate this attack instead of going to church to die. I am saying this because we have a President that does not care what happens to Christians. He has never condemned any attack on the Church.

Jokes EtcBuhari's Constant Wearing Of Spectacles Is Making Caricature Difficult. by Elvis295(op): 4:53pm On Jun 30, 2015
Buhari is always wearing spectacles and this has made caricature and Photoshop kind of impossible. For example if you want to make a caricature where he is wrestling, everyone knows that wrestlers don't wear specs when they fight. Or in football, players don't wear specs. I guess the wise ones understand what I mean. grin

This so called Sahara reporters are becoming more like ministry of information in this administration. I am curious, what is there aim? who in this new administration is using them. Who even invited this Tombo-fly by the way in our national issues? Do they even blink their eyes about Nigeria? How do they get vital and confidential information from reliable sources. Do they bribe their way out?

Christianity EtcI Have A Proof That There Is God. by Elvis295(op): 1:11am On Jun 28, 2015
Yes I have proof that there is God!!! Eight years ago , while I was still a teenager, an enigmatic event took place that has still left me dumbfounded. I guess your curious at this point. Alright park well and read on. ( I am going to summarize it because I won't keep you bored). One day, my elder brother had a fight with boy and my brother kind of overpowered him. The boy became so furious. Some minutes later he returned to our house with some thugs shouting and brandishing fatal weapons. I became scared and went to the first floor of the house. While still upstairs, I took a bottle and threw it into the midst of the crowd ( I didn't let them see me) hoping that they will scatter but to my greatest surprise it touched nobody. i was still hiding upstairs listening if they will ask who threw that but no one did. i came down and started looking for the bottle but i couldn't find it till today. The floor was concrete so at least It should have broken to pieces yet there was none. Or someone one caught it up yet no sign of that because no one even expected it. in fact if they had seen that bottle the trouble would have been escalated. Nobody also complained of it. But now I realized that what i did was bad. that thing could have killed someone. God just saved me from jail. God is not dead.
