About the General Overseer

Rev. Dr. Prince Samuel Richards was born in 1970 to the family of Chief and Mrs. Richard O. Amadi in Ogbogoro Community in Obio/Akpor L.G.A in Rivers State. He had his primary and secondary education in Port Harcourt before he proceeded to do his A’ level at the college of Arts and Science now Port Harcourt Polytechnic and was later offered admission into the university of Jos to study law.

It was while in the pursuit of the degree programme that he received the call of God to go into full time ministry. He holds a degree in Theology from Calvary College of Theology, Port Harcourt, an a affiliate of Rock Island University, U.S.A, and also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Education from the University of Port Harcourt.

He is a prolific writer as he has authored several life changing books. He’s a Radio and Television Evangelist within and outside Nigeria. He has received several national and international awards. Rev. Dr. Prince Samuel Richards is a teacher, preacher, a popular conference speaker whose message has impacted lives throughout the continents of the world. He’s happily married to Rev. Precious Samuel Richards a graduate of industrial Chemist from the University of Port Harcourt. They are blessed with three children; favour, gracewealth and glory.



Today based on the principle of hard work, persistence and consistency taught and practiced by Dr. Samuel Richards, his ministry has grown into a multifaceted ministry. He has successfully affected a great number of lives fulfilling the vision of the ministry, which is to lead men to victory through the word of God and Prayer. His crusades, outreach programmes, and regular ministration in the electronic media have been a great blessing to many for several years now.

Dr. Samuel Richards ministers regularly on silverbird Television, NTA, Wazobia FM, COOL FM, RSTV all in Port Harcourt. He is the founder and International president of Global Apostolic Network of Ministers; a conference which gathers ministers, pastors and church leaders from all the states of the federation and other parts of the world. He is the founder and president of Concerned Ministers for Peace in Niger Delta, which is a local and international body of ministers and Christians with the mandate to enforce a lasting peace in Niger Delta.

His dedication to God and Service to humanity has earned him several International and National awards and honours. He is an Executive Member of the International Covenant of Ministerial Council, and the International Conference of Ministers. He holds a Doctorate Degree Award from Minnesota University U.S.A, as Doctor in Divinity and Global Evangelism, and also the 1st Great Achievers of Niger Delta Award by Bewara Communications Limited amongst others.
