Get it right, marginalisation is not slavery. Igbos are not by any circumstance close to slavery. Marginalisation, inequality and unfairness in political dealings are the fundamental motives behind the agitation not slavery.

[Tribalism is evil my bro. We meet in church and hypocritically greet and hug the next person to us irrespective of his or her tribe, we pray for breakthrough while we break all the rule to true Christian living. Let's love to live together. Quote author=ProfAmaben post=106898877]Falz a Yoruba boy is the one spearheading this, once violence erupts, they tag it an Igbo protest. All enemies of the great Igbo race would never end well.
I see you as one of those Nigerian youths Wole Soyinka referred to as shameless generation. If you called your king useless, the custodian of culture and tradition, why won't you shag your trouser, disrespect your parents and bullshit your elders. Please get sense. Don't press your keypad to make trashy comment. If you have nothing to offer, I suggest silence. Ok
DamnNiggar:
All these kings in Nigeria Including Ooni of Ife are useless kings.

I don't know their work, they contribute to increase crime rate in the country

Nonsense kings undecided
PoliticsRe: Tinubu Family Takes Possession Of Land With 50 Houses In Surulere Lagos by Elyonwings: 9:42am On Jul 20, 2021
You are right bro on your analysis on Ghana peace status. One thing that is very vital to sustanance of peace in Ghana is language. The Akan language called Twi. Almost all Ghanaians speak the language which really makes them see themselfs as one. Information dessemination in Ghana is also effective. They listen to radio news even in their remotest villages. The bottomline is, Ghana is not as heterogeneous as Nigeria. It is really painful that we can't unite our diversities to an advantage. The reason why Nigeria is loosing everything to Ghana. Nigerian youth run in droves to Ghana. Even as they are being humiliated, they prefer to stay in a country where their security is more guaranteed. May God save Nigeria.
Redoil:
they should have taken over the entire lagos
Is Ghana among the most peaceful countries in Africa? Why?
There are various reasons why Ghana is amongst the top 10 most peaceful countries in Africa.

1 - Ghana is 50% Akan, descendants of ancient farming societies who generally were a peaceful bunch.

2 - Although the Akan are the majority, they do not abuse the other minority tribes.

3 - Ghana is predominately a Christian country. In comparison to the Muslim countries that surround them, Ghana has managed to contain Islamic militants and nomadic groups that often try and disrupt the peace in West Africa.

4 - The Ghanaian government doesn't sponsor terrorism. On the other hand, the government of some other African countries have their hands deep in terrorism. For example, the Nigerian government (primarily run by Fulani Muslims) is tribalistic and actively engages in state-sponsored terrorism to kill various other ethnic groups (who are primarily farmers). Farmers are not safe in Nigeria. The government is importing various Fulani nomads from across Africa to take the land of our farmers. This has triggered food shortages and an insane amount of violence.

5 - The Muslim groups in Ghana are not as brainless as the ones in Nigeria. The Hausa people in Nigeria have for far too long, protected and sympathized with the Fulani nomadic groups (known for being terrorists who invaded West Africa from the north) because the Fulanis were also Muslim.

The Hausa in Ghana are not as weak. They don’t tolerate the Fulani groups as easily as those in Nigeria. Generally speaking, Ghanaians don’t tolerate violence and they certainly wont tolerate the violence carried out by nomadic groups that have destroyed Nigeria (and are trying to destroy the entire West African sub-region). Nigeria, Mali, Central African Republic and parts of Cameroon are currently being destroyed by these nomadic groups.

6 - Ghanaians are very observant of their country’s happenings. When crimes are committed, they talk about it all over social media and rant. Unlike Nigerians, they don’t turn a blind eye to crimes. Nigerians are more selfish. They only care when crimes directly affect them. They are also more tribalistic and don’t care when crimes are committed against other tribes.

7 - Ghanaian military is less corrupt than other West African countries. A few years ago, a group of cattle nomads from outside Ghana tried to annihilate villagers in their farms. The Ghanaian army was swift to catch those criminals and killed them and their cows.

Innocent cows are getting killed because the only language their nomadic owners understand is brutality. It’s 2021 and they don’t want to set up ranches like most civilised nations. They want to roam around, destroy our farming lands, kill innocent people, and be pests to others.

Also, because many of these cattle nomads are black Muslims who are mixed with Berbers. They feel they are above black people and refuse to obey laws in lands ruled by black people.

They never ever try and invade lands in North Africa (where their Arab/Berber masters live). Their terrorist acts are always against the blacks.

Since the Ghanaian military took action against them, they haven’t tried their nonsense in Ghana. But we know cattle nomads love revenge. We know they are secretly plotting revenge. Revenge killings are part of their DNA.

That’s why West Africans must keep both eyes open for these enemies of our blessed fertile lands who are secretly plotting to destroy our peace

As much as we collectively condemn corruptions in Nigeria, especially in our government, ministries, departments, agencies and parastatals; we should be mindful of those who are taking advantage of our actions to subtly propagate their agenda of breaking the country. Restructuring is different from secession.

You just hit the nail right on thr head. More of you on Nairaland. Truth is better. r=Alexis11 post=75679394]PDPnud.

Multiplier effect of corruption

1. A young man works for one of the state ministries. His salary is 120K. He makes 15,000 everyday on this desk (N75k a week) engaging in corrupt practices. As a result, he spends the daily cash as he cares. Living large and far above his legitimate income.

2. He visits the local joint every evening and buys drinks for friends, and area boys. They hail him. He is married, but has two girlfriends. His "income" is enough to take care of them. The Asun seller at his favorite joint is happy, the joint owner is happy.

3. Everyone was benefiting from his "income". Friends, family, area boys, joint owner, Asun seller, girlfriends, wife and his church. Life was good.

4. Then suddenly the ministry implemented the Treasury Single Account (TSA) at the beginning of PMB administration. His extra "income" disappeared and he had to adjust to the reality of event and live within his real income. That wasn't easy.

5. Initially he reduced his daily visit to the joint to 3 days a week and stopped buying drinks for everyone. He reduced the plates of Asun. The Asun seller started to find it hard to sell a full goat each day and resorted to buying half.

6. The young man's girlfriends started to feel the heat too. No more iPhone 10. The joint owner noticed a drop in sales. The young man finally stopped visiting the joint after a month. The area boys started feeling his absence. The effect cascaded down.

7. The young man started spending more time at home with his wife and kids. The family had to readjust to the reality of the new normal. His hair stylist noticed the young man suddenly stopped tipping. He will even wait for his N200 change after haircut.

8. Things are different. Times are hard, they all cry. The young man is blaming Buhari, his wife is blaming Buhari, the area boys are blaming Buhari, the girlfriends are saying Buhari must go, the joint owner is saying Buhari killed the "economy"

9. The Asun seller is cursing Buhari, the hair stylist is insisting Buhari is too old to rule. This is the story of our nation where corruption fuels the "economy". Those who are not engaging in it are benefiting from it.

10. This tread is not about Buhari's achievement or failure, but rather about the "multiplier" effect of corruption and how we have built a system largely driven by corruption. It's about policy implication (good or bad). It's about the choices we have made.

Finally, the young man had to withdraw his kids from what he called expensive primary school his kids attend. He added:"what are they teaching them there sef " Obasanjo didn't go to a private school. I just laughed .
NwaAmaikpe:
shocked

Only Buratai can tell us where Nnamdi Kanu is.

Because the Nnamdi Kanu we know is too brave to even think of running.
He was so brave that he made Fela Anikulapo Kuti look like a learner.

Besides information that got to me said the entire state was blocked with soldiers hence an escape was almost impossible.

It's certain that the army chief and the dullard President will be at the Hague in no distant time for crimes against humanity and genocide.
I would have thought of being logically reasonable in responding to you if you have shown a little bit of sense in your comment. But you failed to could not even discern what is called bravery from opportunistic Nnamdi KANU who has glaringly made fool of those who could not see beyond their nose, thinking they can be human inside their so called zoo of animals. Animals calling animals name is utterly not sensible.
