paulos8: Any news from camp? SA already started training yesterday later we will want to pull off a miracle win. All the players apart from the ones that did transfer ought to have been in camp by now. You would tell me SA players play in SA but some of our boys played on Saturday. They should be in camp by now. Make SA STart training since last year,if we go beat dem ,we go beat dem |

chrisooblog: What a transfer window this was!
For me it was a mixed bag for Nigerian players and was looking like it was going to be an anti-climax thankfully yesterday's flury of transfers saved the day.
I will start first with the negatives. Osimhen and Lookman failing to get the big high profile moves they undoubtedly deserved was a huge disappointment. Ademola in particular is really painful but hopefully something happens that puts him back on track.
Boniface too missing out on his big move to AC Milan was another sore point but I'm happy Werder Bremen will offer him the chance to get his career back on track.
Ndidi's move to Turkey and Iheanacho's contract termination sums up the not so pleasant aspects of this window.
For positives Tolu and Chrisantus moves to the EPL is definitely the highlight for me considering the level of football they were playing a year and a half ago.
Chukwueze also snagged a decent move that should give him the platform to showcase his talent.
Fredrick's loan move to Belgium is a good step for him in his career progression.
Awaziem coming back to top level European football is great.
Overall decent transfer window.
Now to mission impossible with the SE. Still hopeful they will pull it off. Out of all these transfers, Chukwueze is the one I really hope succeeds. Other players will do well too, but Chukwueze’s case is more important because he won’t get another chance. He needs to deliver consistent performances—no more excuses. Now he’s in a league where he will be heavily criticized, with no hiding place. I just hope he doesn’t end up like Nacho. |

Looking at the way Premier League clubs are spending heavily on strikers like Šeško, Newcastle’s forward, and other players who have actually scored fewer goals at their respective clubs last season it seems obvious that Premier League teams intentionally avoided Osimhen. It’s not as if they couldn’t afford him even with his salary demands.I feel the reasons go beyond football. |

AndSunGorilla: Disappointed there's no CHAN Eagles dia, no Alimi, Ngenge or Nduka
On a serious note, very good list, Zaidu is knocking I believe. My preference about dropped players would be 1. Amas Obasogie - Harcourt is one for the future, good to put him in the mix. 2. Igoh Ogbu or Fredericks, I doubt Ekong would be dropped except he gets injured. Tough call really. 3. Alhassan 4. Term Moffi 5. Akor Adams 6. Sadiq 7. Dessers 8.
Tough to drop 8 players honestly. Neither Ogbu nor Fredericks deserve to be dropped but nna men, it's a very good list. Only injury will make dessers to miss dt final list …chelle will take him |
